“Found a perfect dress”

I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!

I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.

I saw a review/haul video on YouTube and the clothing they sell really caught my eye.
I ordered $200 worth of items and waited about a month for them. I live in Canada. I chose my usual sizes, and checked the sizing charts in the event of any discrepancies. To my disappointment, the sizing is way off. The quality is cheap. For a plus sized t-shirt, I was surprised that it sat at my bellybutton. The romper I purchased was way too big, as were the pants and tank top. Everything says it was made in China and the material and quality is what you'd likely find purchasing clothing from a dollar store. I won't worry about the hassle of returning them, I will give them away but lesson learned. Read all the reviews before you order.

If you want something for the Christmas holidays make sure you order it in June and maybe it will be here at Christmas. Don't count on it though. You will just get the same old answer from customer service. "We are very sorry but, that item is on back order" I will never order from again or even try.

I came upon these reviews as I pulled up the site to look at the winter clothes, and I was shocked. I've shopped here 10 years and love their stuff. It's inexpensive, and I've felt the quality surpassed my expectations for the price point. Though I have never had to send anything back, I would still highly recommend Venus

I've only had to return items twice in the 3+ years I've been buying and that was for size. I love everything I have from them. My items come quickly and as described. I don't understand all the negative reviews. You just can't please everyone, I guess.

Stay away from this Chinese website. I ordered 4 items. They looked very nice online, but when we received them (19 days later), they look nothing like the ones in the photo on their website. The materials are very very low quality; the color are very dull - looked like have been warned many times; the styles not even the same as in the photos; and missing accessories such as belt and bow. These people are very deceiving. Don't be mislead by them. Even though they claimed on their website that satisfaction is their main goal, you won't be able to return the items you ordered. I contacted them, no reply. These people are scam. They are the scum of the earth. I have shopped a lot online, but have never seen a store this bad as DressVenus.com. Believe me if you want to save a lot of headache and money, STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!

I ordered the pencil skirt suit set and when I received the order there was just a crappy, cheap "blazer" with no button. Literally nothing like the photo, didn't come with the skirt, wouldn't even call it a blazer. Extremely disappointed all around. Defiantly not worth $70

I bought 3 dresses and a top. One of the maxi dresses I ordered didn't even come in, they decided on they're own to replace it with some hideous skirt that I didn't even order. Needless to say all of what I ordered I was very disappointed. I normally never write negative reviews or send anything back. This was obviously and exceptionally bad situation!

Gorgeous A-Line Strapless Prom/Homecoming Dress Special Occasion Dresses review

I bought this dress for my girlfriend. She was looking for a cool blue dress and I found this on Dressvenus. It's an amazing, flashy blue dress that definitely shines across the room. After she had tried it on, she loved it. We went out for a walk and she looked more beautiful than ever :). . Price was cheap, only 81.19$ and delivery time was very fast!

I ordered a cotton sweater, wore it a couple of times, washed it on delicate and laid it flat to dry, once and three of the grommets came off and there were three large snags in the sweater. Called customer service, she said I'd get a refund. Turns out, I got a store credit... unacceptable. I spoke with a customer service supervisor and she said she spoke with two other supervisors and it was the customer's fault because I washed it! So they gave me a crappy store credit. I asked the Supervisor to confirm that she is not standing behind defective merchandise and blaming this on the customer and is refusing to give me a refund, and she said yes. Her name is Sheila... horrible products and even more horrible customer service.

I spent over $100 and the quality is worse than Walmart, nothing like the pictures. Fabric is see through on all items, stitching looks like a 10 year sewed it and threads everywhere. I'm positive these items will fall apart. They look great in the pictures and look extremely cheap in real life! The quality is so poor and I advise anyone NOT to order from Venus! I'm 100% dissatisfied and you will be also!

I absolutely love the selection of clothing that Venus has.
The quality on the items I ordered was good for the price and are still looking good after a few years.
My husband was impressed and very complimentary.
Really like that you have longer lengths of tops that cover with a feminine style that accents a curvy figure.
Always enjoy the catalog and browsing online.

I love Venus clothing and have ordered all my swimsuits from them for years. However, I always have to call customer service to place an order because the Venus.com website has so many glitches. I mean we all do most of our ordering online these days so it's really inconvenient that I can't order online from them even after trying many times. Please Venus.com, fix your website so people can actually order your merchandise online.

Beware of working with this company. Their return policy and customer service are horrible. They claim you can exchange items easily and for only $6.95, which I think is even a lot when you can return and exchange items for free in today's online word. They charged me $20 in fees and shipping costs to exchange one item. When I contacted customer service (Angel) she sorry, but there's nothing I can do about it. Wow

I ordered over $200 worth of clothing for a vacation from Venus and after 2 weeks of no updates I contacted customer service. They did end up refunding me for the purchase but I was really disappointed not to get the clothes! Definitely will not even try to purchase anything from them again.

First time order with Venus. The bottoms of the suit I ordered were on back order so I had to wait about a month. When it finally arrived, they had sent 2 bikini tops. I ordered the bright purple and they sent some ugly magenta color. The label on the bag with the wrong style top said bikini shorts. After waiting all this time, I'm sending it back. I probably won't get my refund for another month. Never again.

I ordered a dress that was 54.00 paid almost 60.00 sent back for a different size they gave a credit of 38.00 plus I had to pay 1.95 before they would send out the same dress so it arrives and still would not fit so I asked for a refund my refund would have been 27.94 the dress was not worth the money spent the fabric was of something you see in a dollar store. So I learned from them never ever order anything the reason was they charged 6.95 for the return label twice plus shipping the dress out what a bunch of crooks. Don't shop with this company I'm reporting to the better business bureau..

I love Venus! I ordered several times a month from there and always received excellent customer service and very high quality clothing! I have seen people on here say they had to pay when they return things I dont understand that because I have never had to pay a dime when I returned anything penis covered all the cost like I said a great company! I will continue to order from Venus, cant stay away from their cute styles!

Beware of final sales. I ordered regular priced and a few final sales. I find it ironic, the final sales ones were small, non returnable and they are not so cheap. If that is how they want to make profits, they can make them on others. Not fun to waste your money.

I have ordered from Venus in the past and all their clothing was of a very high quality, very elegant and yet affordable. My recent order however, put me in a state of shock. The clothing was cheaply made, sizes were off, and some pieces completely did not resemble the pictures from the catalog. Out of 15 pieces, I decided to keep only 5. The sudden change in Venus quality reminded me of Victoria's Secret drop in quality as well. I will never order from either again.

I've ordered from this website before and have received cheap quality products. Unless the items are of good quality their pretty expensive. I ordered a shirt that cost me $26 and when I washed it on delicate with two other shirts (two soft cotton shirts) it came out completely shredded. I was very upset once again from this Website and don't ever plan on ordering again.

I bought 4 dresses, 2 different styles and 2 were the same style, different sizes. Only one dress looked good so I needed to return the 3. I was surprised to find out it cost $6.95 per dress to return even though they were being returned together. It cost me $21.00 to return dresses that cost $22.99 each. I would have never bought anything knowing this. My bad for not reading all the text on returns which is thoroughly buried on their web site.

This company has been super easy to purchase from. Items come within a week and I have ordered lots of items over the past year. When I have needed to return the product it was a breeze. I have exchanged items as well without problems. You can reach them by phone easily and customer service has been great too! I was skeptical about ordering from online stores like this but glad I did. Hope you have as good experience as I have had with Venus

One star is way, way too high. Venus is a "Bait & Switch" co. NEVER, NEVER shop hear. I made a large order, was promised a $50 discount. Did I ever get the card? How many follow-up phone calls must one make to get that card? I FINALLY was promised once again, weeks after the very 1st promise, that they would send me a $25 gift card. Excuse me? Why didn't you send me it the last time you promised? Or with the original order as you promised? As if I ever want to deal with your co ever again when all they do is LIE? Why would I be happy after spending hours and hours of my time complaining, and not getting the promised item, with a gift card 1/2 of what was originally promised in writing when I made my order? They've got the absolute worst "customer service" jerks in the history of online sales too.

I have been shopping with Venus for years! If you follow the sizing directions the swimwear is a perfect fit. When I lived up north my Venus swimwear lasted for YEARS! Now that I live in FL and swim all year I need to replace them every 2-3 years! The fit is perfect! I rinse them out in cold water after use but no other special care. Many times I get new ones just because I am tired of the old ones, not because they are worn out! I wait for the end of season (no such thing in FL!) and buy 4-5 each year. Great company and great products. Have had a problem only once and I received a replacement promptly. Have been shopping with them for 20 years!

If you would like to order a bathing suit in May and receive it in December due to ongoing back orders, this is your company! I have chatted on-line to be told that the arrival dates are subject to change. Subject to change 5 times!?! I called and the supervisor refused to offer any kind of refund or assistance. When asked to speak to a manager, I as told there was not a manager on the floor. Um, worked in call centers, been there, done that and there is ALWAYS a manager available. RIDICULOUS! If they continue to run the company with poor customer service and out of date web pages the company VENUS will no longer be in business. Heads up; If it says "back ordered" it means unavailable... you will not get your item on or even near the back ordered until date.
