I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
If you order from Venus, make sure the clothing will fit because when you send it back you may not get refunded. And they charge $6.95 to send it back. They have no idea where your package is. Oh well atleast I'm only out $30. Lesson learned. Never ordering from this site again.
This company has the worst customer care i have ever experienced. They emailed me when they shipped my item then did not actually ship it for 3 days after that causing it be delivered late. I still have not received it. They told me to contact the carrier and i could return to sender or change delivery - for some reason it was missorted and sent to the wrong state. My carrier UPS said tha the seller - Venus has placed limitations not allowing any changes to shipments so i have no choice but to wait. They lie and make returning or changing anything impossible. It feels like a scam.
I had ordered a a few tops for my daughter. But one did not fit so when I returned the item they charged me double the shipping fee plus the label charge. I have not had any other company charge me that before. Disappointed in the return policy. The clothes are very nice looking and most that I ordered look nice. But, one sweater does not look that great... it is a cheaper quality not what I expected.
I have ordered from dressvenus before and would highly recommend them. They offer their lines at the best prices compared to other retailers and are excellent at doing what they say they will. If something is ordered with next day delivery, that's when it arrives. The other reason I like them is because when their website says something is in stock, it is, unlike several other retailers I've bought from. I have found dressvenus to be highly reliable.

Poor quality - and it shows. The cheapness is apparent from the time you open see the delivered package, which was, in my case, a plastic UPS envelope with three dresses inside, all three folded up in individual clear plastic bags. I've had Asian knockoff toys for my son wrapped and labeled more professionally...
I ordered 6 shirts less than a week ago. I got them today and tried them all on. One was actually a sweater dress and it's a little long but I'm 5'3 so I expect that, for what I paid it is still worth it to have it hemmed. The other 5 shirts fit perfectly, my order arrived a day early, while I didn't receive a tracking number for the shipment, all I had to do was call customer service... where my call was taken immediately and the woman read it to me politely. I'm not getting all the bad reviews. I read them after I ordered and I got way nervous. Everything is great and I will definitely order again!
Venus has cheapened the quality of their material since my last order, so beware. I have spent a lot of money with this company and I typically make a large purchase every spring. Not the same this year! I just received an order of several items and the quality of material is awful. Thin, see-through polyester junk. This is not the Venus I knew and loved. Will not be shopping here anymore. What a ripoff! Thanks for nothing.
Dress Venus is one of the best sites from where you can get an evening dress. I purchased a shimmering purple dress a few days back. I must say that I was really soft with a unique design. All my friends and colleagues appreciated my choice in the party and told that it was a perfect fit for my personality.
I ordered three dresses from Venus for the first time a month ago. Two of them were great, but was not a fan of the third dress. I returned the dress and received and email stating that my account woul be credited $29.00. However I was only given back $9.10. I spoke with a very nice young man who informed me that he will credit my account for 12.99 stating that I was charged $6.00 for using their label. After expressing my thoughts of being charged additional for a dress that I've never wore, the gentleman credited me a full refund. Not sure if I will order from them again. If I do I will be more mindful of any returns.
I ordered several shirts and most of them ran big. I think the sizing is a little off. I hope they make it easier to review items on their website so people know how it fits/looks, if it runs big or small etc. The item came 2 days after they predicted which is no big deal. My favorite sweater of them all had several holes in it so I had to return it, bummed. I contacted customer service through live chat and they were very helpful. Hopefully I am not charged the automatic $6.95 fee when you return items.

Absolutely horrible service and clothing. Not worth $5.00. The clothing is shipped directly from china and not even wearable. When I contacted them, the guy that answered is extremely rude. So I'm letting my credit card company handle the dispute. Don't order from here.
Crappy service. I ordered an item on ll-29-2012. It is now 02-20-2013 and I still do not have the item - even tho they charged me for it. Called Venus and they don't even have a tracking #. Will NEVER order from this company again.
The clothes are ok made. What gets me so upset about this site is that several times when I placed an order with their preorder clothes, my orders always seem to get cancelled with same message that the items have been discontinued. If your going to offer the clothes for preorder they should NOT be discontinued. I normally spend quite a bit but I think I am going to take my business elsewhere from now on.
I returned a item almost 2 months ago. They shipped my exchange Feb 22 and I still have not received anything. I thought 2 months would be lots of time for shipping before my holiday. But apparently not. I've called several times as the email I was sent said 7-10 days. Customer service was no help at all. I asked if they would send me my bathing suit top express but they told me they wouldn't because it probably wouldn't get there on time. Very very dissatisfied with customer service!
I purchased a $59 dress with $9.95 shipping, which came out to $90 once my bank converted it to Canadian currency and it took 4-5 weeks to ship. Would be nice if on their website the prices were marked US $ but I know its in the fine print.
I ordered an XS bandage dress, colour blue and the material is soft and stretchy for a tight dress. Fit is weird though: I am 5 ft 4 at 116 lbs and it fit great everywhere except the shoulders and arms of the dress were large and out of proportion to the rest of the dress. I wont return it considering how awful the return reviews are.
Tip for consumers:
Follow their size guide and measure yourself! Their sizes run larger and are possibly made for more curvier shapes than other retailers, so dont order a size based on what you think you are.
Did not receive my order... Then told by customer service "did the shipping receipt state it was on back-order"... Hummm it didn't state it was on back order at time of ordering, shows the item was shipped, no notifications, just not received and nothing denoted... Worst customer service, no advance notice, they just don't come through and are good with that... And unless you follow up you will never see what you purchased - stay away from this company it's a sham
I used to be a die hard Venus fan. Never had an issue with anything. The service agants were accommodating and helpful. Now they are just horrible. Wait time is over 10 minutes, just to be disconnected again. They never return emails. Just overall disappointing. I'll never order from them ever again. Everything has just gone down hill, fast.

I ordered four sweaters from Venus.com. One was plain and very hard to mess up I would think, one didn't have much shape but was very comfy so am keeping them. The other two were AWFUL! The stitching was literally showing at the edge of each sweater. One was a cropped shoulder that had a large hem sticking out! Such poor quality. The turtleneck was so stretched out and shapeless that it actually looked oval. The second sweater was tiny in the bust yet huge on the waist (trust me, I don't have the bust to fill it out. It was just deformed) For $40 a sweater, I would expect higher quality than something that looked homemade from a home-ec class! Will never order again! The catalogs are very deceiving! The clothes look nothing like the pictures.
After reading mixed reviews from different dress stores I ended up choosing outeriner as they generally got good feedback. Of course I was anxious for my dress to arrive as I needed it for my graduation. I felt nervous opening the box, which arrived in the week they said it would about 5 weeks after I ordered the dress, but the whole dress was beautiful. Best part is that a dress very similar to some I saw costing about $300 cost me just $105! Great color, fit, and quality!

Ordered in November for the holidays. Got an email on the 30th of November saying it has shipped. As of dec 12, there are no shipping updates when I try and track it. I've tried to contact customer service twice and they just tell me it is in transit. Leaving for a few days to spend the holidays out of town. Would never had ordered had I known it was going to take more than two weeks to arrive. Website says 5-7 days for Canadian shipping. I've ordered from here before with no issues. Will definitely not be ordering again as this is a huge inconvenience for me now that I'm going out of town and will be worried about my parcel arriving and nobody to receive it. Order elsewhere that has more reliable shipping.

I always thought Venus clothes were absolutely beautiful. But my orders don't get processed and same for my pre-orders. I send request on chat about my items and all I heard was "its been delayed". Then a little time goes by and I'm requesting status again. This time I hear that my item is no longer. So I end up seeing like 3 of my prior orders showing canceled. When I see one of my orders selling and my size showing available. I am saddened by thier unprofessionalism and lack of customer service.
I have ordered a bath suit online back in May. It was shown on the payment page it would be delivered in June. To which it never did. I called customer service and I was told all of these suits are back ordered and actually they never even got in yet. But to cancel the order and reorder and it will be here by July 3. It's July 4th I call Cds a gain and was told calm down you only ordered it in June... but also it's back ordered but it's not guaranteed. So they knowingly advertise items that they do not even have in stock or are getting in stock... this is the worst company and rudest cashier reps

I ordered from this store 3 separate times and about 8 items overall. Everything fit perfectly and I thought the quality was good. I get compliments each time I wear one of the items. I have not had any bad experience at all and I hope to continue. I did not have to go through the returns process, so I cannot comment on that.
