I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
Ordered a bathing suit tankini waist, ordered my size according to the measurement chart. It arrived quick, but when tried it on, fit improperly! Too big in bust, tight around band ( and itchy due to cheap material), but fit in the waist. Want to return it, but wont be refunded original shipping fee of 4.95. Can understand that. Plus charge 6.95 to return it! ($2 dollars more than original shipping?) Very disappointed in product and company return policy when dissatisfied!
I was actually very shocked to read some of the negative reviews! I have been purchasing from Venus for a long time now and am very satisfied with their clothing and customer service! I can not understand why several people called it a scam company! One thing I like to do is read the reviews for the article of clothing/shoes I intend on purchasing because it gives me an idea of whether the sizing is off alittle and what others think about the article!

Prices not great for most items, and I wasn't happy with the jumpsuit I ordered. I would have returned it, but having to pay the shipping costs coming and going, I would have incurred about 50% of the original cost of the merchandise, so I decided to keep the item. I'm not ordering from them again. Who doesn't have free return shipping for unsatisfactory items, in this day and age? Walmart & Amazon have stuff at least as good for less, and no-questions-asked returns.
I returned two shirts totaling $52.20, so was confused when I was only refunded $32.30. I was expecting $6.95 to be deducted for the return label fee as stated on their site and is completely reasonable and in-line with what a lot of other companies do. However, in addition to the $6.95, they ALSO deducted a $12.95 shipping fee. So to return to small, lightweight shirts, in the plastic bag they originally arrived in, I was charged a total of $19.90. Complete scam and will prevent me from ordering from them again in the future. Also, no where on their site does it say you'll be charged additional return shipping. The shipping label fee is mentioned, as is the fact that you will not be *refunded* any shipping charges, but it doesn't state you will actually PAY return shipping. I thought that's what the $6.95 was for...
More than half of my wardrobe is from Venus. I love their clothes. I have not come across anything cheaply made yet. I have dresses, sweaters, leggings, jeans, shoes and jewelry. I will say I do thing their shoes do run a little small. Every time I wear an outfit from Venus I always get compliments and people ask wear did you get that. I love the clothes!
I find that their clothes always looks better in their pictures. You must also read the product details to make sure you are buying the fabric quality that you want. They have some good items, but some of their items looks like they could be purchased at a flea market.
I have a good figure, a size 0 or 2. I purchased an extra small. What I got was a formless sack. There was no tailoring to the waist. It looked terrible, it was not only way too large, but it actually made me, a skinny person, look fat! They must be cheating and pinning the clothes on the website models. The website depiction is very inaccurate.
What really is irritating is that I had to pay $7.95 for them to ship it to me and $6.95 for me to ship it back to them. Overall I wasted almost $15 to try on a dress that didn't even fit.

The styles are not really accurately portrayed. Order a size or two down.
These dresses must be pinned on the models because they do not have tailoring to them.
I have been ordering from Venus.com since 2014. Everything I've bought is of good quality and fits true to size. I returned a dress that I did not like once with no issues. However, I have to admit that I always read the reviews of a specific piece before ordering.

I bought a couple of dresses that looked great on the model but when I got them, I realized they were NOT flattering at all. If you didn't have a perfect body, they were not going to look good. The fabric was just horrible. I had to choice but to return them and I had to pay a hefty shipping fee. I feel ripped off!

I order for the first time from Canada and the day after I ordered, I received and email saying I need to pay 32 dollars more for a 72 dollar order! I was not told about this when i was ordering. I really hope the quality is really good! I'm so worried now because of all the bad reviews I'm reading.

I have purchased Venus Fashions for a VERY long time... the clothes are smart stylish. And reasonably priced... I've only had a couple of items I didn't care for and it was mostly the way they looked on me. I am 5ft 10 in... But not exactly in shape like the Venus models... they make EVERYTHING look amazing. Basically I dress for my body type and they haven't let me down..

God forbid that you have to return anything or somehow a statement is incorrect because it was issued between the time of the return and generation of the statement. Venus / commenity bank still expects you to pay the shipping and then you have to contact two separate customer services department to resolve your issue. One blames the other, it's terrible - don't buy from them and avoid the hassle. You've been warned.

I ordered a dress, They don't inform you about them not returning your money in a timely manner, they tell you once you put in your order that Final sales you cannot receive anything for them you can't return or exchange and they say they can't send it back to you once it's ordered. I do not recommend this site and I am very dissatisfied with their response. Minimum that can be done for a customer is credit and to not offer credit on an item that was not even worn and returned in perfect condition is stealing from people that could be loyal customers. It's upsetting to realize how deceiving this site could be. Will not recommend or shop in this site ever and I hope no one else falls for this and read everything even the FAQ's which is where they i form you of this, not even in the right section they let you know.

So I placed an order over $100 and received free shipping as well as a first time customer $10 off. I returned 2 bathing suit tops and a coverup that didn't fit. They charged back the original $7.95 shipping that I am now not eligible for as well as $6.95 to ship it back and they took back the $10.00. I have 2 items at home that I was going to keep, but now they are going back. Obviously I will never order from them again. I have never heard of such an insane return policy. Buyer beware!
I have been ordering from Venus for years. I have spent thousands of dollars on clothes and shoes. So naturally when I got engaged I thought I'd look for my wedding dress on Venus because I'm loyal like that. Now mind you in all these years I've been ordering I've had an item here and there not fit but have never had anything but great customer service and always been pleased with the quickness of my refund or exchange. So with that being said I found the dress I wanted and ordered it. I received it yesterday and it's like the dress was made for me. As usual high quality material, beautiful just like the picture and fit me perfectly! This just solidified my faith in them and I will continue to order and recommend them to my friends. As far as I'm concerned Venus is a Rockstar and I will continue to spend my money with them. Keep up the good work you guys rock!
I had a credit from an order where they shipped literally all wrong elements in my order. I was given a e-cert, instead of crediting it back to my credit card. I called to see if it could be issued back to my credit card, but it never happened. I used the credit on another order for 3 items, of which I returned two. According to their "new" return policy. The adjusted price I pay after they allocate out the credit is the only amount that I get back. I paid a total of $77 for the new order ($58 credit, and $19 on credit card). I ended up keeping ~ $28 top and returned two items. So the amount I receive back after being charged shipping adjustment fee is $6. So I just paid $71 ($58 + $19-$6) for one bikini top.

I placed an order for two items for a wedding I was attending. I got rush shipping to ensure it would arrive on time and they assured me it would. Duties were paid and I continuously tracked my order and it NEVER left the border. Two months later it still at the border. I have chatted numerous times with Venus to ask about my order and eventually about a refund. The customer service rep said I would receive an email regarding a refund and details, however, two months (almost 3 months later) I still have not received an email, a refund, or my order. I am now questioning the whether this company is legit, or one of those scam companies you hear about. Not impressed.
I've been ordering clothes from Venus every month starting April of this year. So far the quality of the materials are good in relative to the price marked so I'm very satisfied. In fact I find their clothes better quality than the ones from Forever 21 or similar store in the mall.
I ordered $300.00 worth of their summer skirts only to find out I would not receive any of them. The Rep on the phone FAILED to tell me when she offered me their two day upgrade shipping special that it does not apply when using a PO Box. My order was shipped back to the company, no phone call or email asking if I wanted the items shipped to another address. Asked what happens to my order now, they told me the order would be sent back out but no guarantee I would get all my items for they would sell them to other customers, wrong answer. Customer Service Reps need to be re-trained for this was not my fault it was theirs.

I ordered the zip blouse and faux leather pants. The blouse is a show stopper. Everyone wanted to know where I purchases it. When I reveal it's from Venus they are shocked because like me they read the reviews but decided not to order. I always have to see for myself and so glad I did. I will continue to order from them. I am 5'51/2 and I weigh 145. I purchased a med in the blouse and a med in the pant. I hope this helps someone! :)
Everything that I have ordered has been hit or miss, either with poor quality or sizing and one item that is still avalible in the catalog doesn't even look like it,( lace tunic) had no issues ever with shipping I just wish they had a store where you could actually go to look and try things on as I probably would buy more
Got a Venus Credit Card what a mistake. Ordered placed on my account and charged to my credit card. When I discovered this called to be placed on hold and disconnected. Hours and months spent trying to resolve issue. If someone ordered product where did it get delivered give me proof it was delivered to my home. Never received an answer or proof. Ended up paying the bill so not to ruin my credit and get the credit from the bank that holds the credit card try to use and Venus tells me I owe them money. Try to reach them to discuss bank that holds the card gave me the credit still today no resolution on Venus's part. Horrible company but they sell nice bathing suits would not recommend dealing with them. You can get nice swim wear anywhere.
First of all I waited over three weeks for it to arrive, the shipping cost was insane. I paid roughly $25 for the bikini top and $25 for the shipping (something I wouldn't normally do but so many people were recommending it and the website said 90% customer satisfaction, yet I can't find anywhere on their to place a review). It arrived and was way to big. US sizes are always bigger than AUS but because it goes by cup size I thought it would be alright. No. On top of that my first order went through and it was confirmed by the Venus employee I called that it had failed. I ordered again and confirmed it went through. Later the first order also confirmed no I'm going to have to wait for that order to arrive as well and return both of them! Can not stress enough that bikini shopping online has been the biggest mistake

Quality horrible, I ordered clothes from China for 5 dollars and that quality was excellent. Well, first time and last, never again, China is better cheaper and great quality. Don't buy venus
This is a scam. Venus said that my order was delivered by ups, but I never received my items. I will never order anything from this website. I tracked my package and ups said it was already delivered. Venus said its in on the way. This is a joke… Amazon is the best
