I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
I placed 2 orders from Venus in preparation for a cruise I was going on within a 2 month period. I never received my order which was in the vicinity of $600. When I contacted the company I received the worst customer service ever. The agent could not tell me what happened to my order and she did not listen to the information I was giving her. I told her I would definitely not be dealing with Venus in the future and she said thanks for visiting us and we look forward to your business in the future. Where does this company get its customer service reps. Surely such a company will not stay in business.
I just received my order today.The sizes are hit and miss. I'm 5' 10" tall and weighs 150lbs. I wear a size Medium in blouses. Just to cover myself, I bought large. Some of the larger fit and some are to big. But I can take them in. Now my experience went decently because A) I ordered over the phone (their systems are more up to date than the internet with reference to availability) B) I bought my purchases with a Pre-paid gift card for security reasons. Regarding the quality of the merchandise - out of ten, ten being the highest, I give them a 7. I will buy from them again. If anyone has any questions regarding my experience please feel free to comment.
Jean zippers suck. I love everything else about Venus, but their jean zippers. Very cheap. I have one pair of jeans that I absolutley love, but the zipper is stuck in the down position & I cannot get it to budge. For having such well made clothes I wish they would install better zippers.

I have been ordering venus clothing for over two years now. They shipping and customer service is really good. There clothes are fashionable, however I always seem a little disappointed in their clothes because they wrinkle really easily and are a bit see trough type material. Some of their clothes are amazing but Ive never been impressed with their tank tops or their dresses. It upsets me little because they aren't the cheapest but the dresses and tank tops, even some shirts are just cheaper material.
First ill start by saying that these clothes are adorable... Online in pictures. In person these are completely different looking and fitting. Advice, order a size or two smaller then you normally order. Okay, my next complaint. I ordered 4 items online totaling about $123, then I used a $15 coupon off my order. I had to return one of the sweater dresses ($39.99) because it was huge on me. I understood that there was a return fee of $6.95. I knew that it was going too come out of my total return. What I did not know was that they were also going to apply my coupon back to my return total. So what I got back for that dress was only $17.00. So instead of evenly dispersing my coupon to each item I bought, they used the entire coupon + return fee out of my one returned item. Such bad business!
I read this review after I paid $470 dollars. I felt so nervous, when the box got here I opened tried everything on and I am in love with the cloths, the fit, everything was perfect. I kept in mind as I ordered that the models have big boobs and I am rocking c cup but not so D. The cloths are a great fit and I am very pleased and will continue to shop with Venus. I am glad I ordered the cloths and use gut instinct before you read all negative reviews Love them...
Venus charges return shipping fees 6.95 (which i was aware are of) but then out of nowhere took an additional 4.95 for "promotional shipping". I read the policy, it did not inform. Other online companies provide shipping for loyal customers in return for their business. KEEP UP VENUS! BEWARE SHOPPERS!

This merchandise is cheap and looks nothing like the catalog. I sent back every item purchased from this site. I did an exchange and that item garbage. The wrap dress turned out to be see thru flimsy material that did not wrap properly. I will NEVER purchase from site again!
I was dealing with them last year quality for items so pure, i purchased skirt was to cheer
And blouse with zipper change the color after 1 week
And black dress really bad quality.
As well you paying for the custom to ship in Canada and you paying return fees.
I really want to buy swimsuits from you because I think some are really cute, however, your bottoms look like diapers due to the amount of coverage on the back. You should have evolved by now into the current century. It's not the 1900s anymore.

I ordered a coat from dressvenus for christmas it came ontime but it was just terrible the buttons were hanging off the material was thin and cheap the stitching is awful now i have emailed them but the phone number they provide is not a registered phone number. Help :(
I have my anniversary this Sunday. I overnighted my order from early Thursday to Friday and they didn't ship, when I called they said it'll be delivered on Monday and there's nothing g they could do. Bad customer service, won't be shipping here ever again.
Omg... yup i purchased a suit dress from this site it very nice on the picture but when it arrived it looks like totally different, and of course i returned it, costumer service was very rude, and till me that it takes a month to get my refund, and it takes 5 weeks before i got my refund and took $15 for the shipping, i think this clothing company is expensive for no reason!
I am shocked to see any negative reviews for this company I have been ordering from them over 5 years and have spent thousands. I love the clothing, I love the swimsuits and I couldn't be happier with the construction or materials. I will always buy from them! As for the customer service I have only gotten the wrong size once. I sent it back with the return label they send with every order ( didn't cost a dime) and they immediately sent my proper size! Love this company and I get compliments wherever I go on my clothing!
I was Leary at first and I admit I've bought a couple of real doozies but once you find your size, and the key is knowing your fabric... this is a great kept fashion secret! You find unusual fashionable clothing! I buy every month and the prices are great! I don't want to wear what everyone else is wearing, they're ahead of the times on some fashion. Bottom line... get to know your fabric and size and service as far as delivery... 5-10 days but you can pay and get sooner! I love this virtual store!

I will never order from here again. I bought a beautiful Red dress for $54 and paid $9.95 for shipping for a cost of $63.95. The dress got here and it was awful! It was Orange! I sent it back with the label that was enclosed which they charge for you to use. Basically because the dress was orange instead of red like stated and shown, I am now out $16.90. I will stick to Old Navy... free shipping and much cheaper.
I did not like most of the products that I received. I had to pay TWO fees to return the items: a return label fee and a shipping fee. This is unheard of in today's world of online customer satisfaction. The only garment that I kept shrank after the first wash in warm water. I will not use Venus ever again.
I purchased a top from them. It didn't fit right and was different than the picture. To make a long story short when I returned it I was only given credit for $17.70 when my purchase was for $29.60. When I called for an explanation the girl was unprofessional and rude. I will never waste my money on this site again. Do yourself a favor and do the same.
Do not order from this company! They sent me the wrong item and I returned it for a full refund. They charge you for the return label so you get the difference back UNLESS you exchange. Bull$#*!. Never ordering anything from this stupid company again
I'm shocked at all the bad reviews as well! Trust me there are ALOT of satisfied Venus customers. We all know though that when we are satisfied... we don't post about it BUT when we are not... we wish to tell the world! I ordered FOR THE FIRST time 2 weeks ago. 2 bathing suits, a cover up and a dress. Well it all arrived about 5 days later and was EXACTLY what I was hoping for! One bathing suit bottom is snug and with the style... it would look "better" a tad larger, so I called customer service (who was VERY nice and helpful) and they instructed me to use the enclosed shipping label and off we go! One person said their bath suits are not lined... not true... my was lined and shaped and flattering! Anyway, if you are leary... just buy a few items to see. They give 90 days to return for a refund or credit... YOU CHOOSE! I am satisfied and WILL buy from Venus again and OFTEN!
I have tried twice now to order. The first time I made the mistake of pushing 1 if I'm over 50. DO NOT do that. It comes on with a sales spiel for health insurance. Second time there is some other sales spiel. I am at work and not in the mood to sit on hold pushing 1 for this and 2 for that. Let me order my stuff and be done, so frustrating. Have emailed them and "live chatted" asking for them to call me. NO RESPONSE. I have ordered a LOT of stuff from them in the past but now it is saying my email is "not registerable" and I have no way to find my old customer number.

If you return you will notice a double charge for the return fee. So in reality you are paying triple. You pay shipping when they mail it. Then they deduct shipping for the return (that's understandable) but they also deduct the original shipping which you already paid. Please look at your return amount carefully. This is robbery! If you call and question it they tell you they will refund 1 shipping charge (which they had no right deducting in the first place!) Imagine how much additional money they are taking in if you don't question it? They should be reported and fined for this deceptive and unlawful practice.

I have ordered several dresses over the years from Venus and I have never had a problem, I loved them. I wear a size 6 and they looked great & fit me perfectly. I have only had to return one item, a shirt (looked cheap) and I had no problem getting a refund. I was surprised by some of the negative reviews. I recommend try it for yourself.
I wanted to leave me review on Venus.com but can't seem to find where to do that so I will leave one here. I don't know why I have bought from them several times. Each time I am disappointed. What you see in the catalog is not what you get. I bought a pair of their Mineral Washed Lounge Pants. They were so long the only way to wear them was with a pair of high heels yet they are sweatpants. Also, after wearing them only one the material is pilling. I could go on about other things I have bought but I will stop there. Bottom line, I am over Venus. I won't be purchasing from there anymore.
