I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
Hi I purchased a purple long dress from this site and I love it. The quality of the dress is great and the value for money was brilliant. The dress looks fab and I am sure my friends will be jealous when I wear it. I will definitely use this site again and would recommend it to all of my friends.
I made one purchase from Venus and I am not going back. It is a legitimate company. It take more than a week to ship but they live up to their promise i. E. you pay they ship.
I ordered just one item, a long pleated skirt. I used their size chart and ordered a size up compared to what I usually buy. I understand I am not like one of their models but I am size small and I am tall. The skirt hangs like a sack on me. Nothing like on the pic. I decided not to bother to return. Just will donate and happily forget.
The quality while being OK doesn't justify even their "clearance price". The fabric gets wrinkled easily and this is not acceptable for pleaded skirt that cannot even be ironed.
As a bottom line, I am not a fan of buying cloths online. Tried with Venus and it didn't work. Their catalogs look presentable so get a free catalog, enjoy and recycle, and then go to a store where you can try things on :)
I have ordered different stuff from venus and only had to send back a coat and a sweater. All other items over the years have been great, except i just ordered a skirt ( i wear a 8 in jeans) and had to exchange it for a 10 and its still to small... well, never had any problems with getting my money back or getting items on time, and i live in alaska. I am not sending back the skirt again, i guess i will just loose #5 as it is very nice and good quality, and i dont want to pay half of the shipping again. They pay one way, i pay the other way. Just dont like that the size is that far off... well, ok i measured myself and had i done that before i ordered i would have gotten the right size, so my bad. So the size chart is correct, use it!
Buyers beware if you buy any items from Venus you have to pay for shipping but if you do a return for a refund You will not get back the tax and shipping you paid for the item just the amount of the item plus they charge you 6.95 for using their label to send their item back to them. So they take more then enough of their share of money, venus is greedy and will never buy from them and I will be letting all those who I know that buy from them to not even use them, their clothes are way to big and loss anyways, Ill just go to the malls and get better fitting and quality clothes.
I have ordered from Venus for years but lately the quality and sizing have been way off. They also charge shipping fee for returns. I have 3 orders that I'm about to return. I was measured before ordering and some is too small, some is too large, some the quality is poor, and the $100 boots run very small and look like they came from Payless.

I have purchased around $700.00 worth of clothes at Venus.com. I love the styles, the fabrics and stitching, however; are not always what I expected for the price. Button missing, raveled after washing and they dont always list the fabric content with their items in their online catalog. You also cant check the status of your order, only that it was received, not if it was declined for any reason. Orders you place are fulfilled the NEXT time you make a purchase if declined by your bank. So, you get surprised when it finally arrives. In other words, no order is ever cancelled unless you specifically telephone them and verbally advise them that you want to cancel it. They put the former orders you placed on your card as soon as the card accepts it on their Venus card. I keep the minimum credit allowance available for their Venus card for that very reason. Otherwise, enjoy!
I ordered several items from Venus. The fabric for all of them were of very poor quality. On top of that, when I returned the items, Venus charged shipping and re-stocking fees. I would rather buy a quality-made top for $100.00 than to buy five tops from Venus for the same price.
Items I have ordered have not been equal to what was advertised, very flimsy for the materials used. Also, the site showed one of my items back ordered, when I phoned to find out how long, I was told the item was out of stock and my order had been cancelled. Low and behold, they had it back on the site as available at full price a short time later. Not cool. So, no, for the price, the quality does not match and cancelling an order on a sale item then making it available at full price a very short time later is shady at best. Never again.
I ordered a Venus bathing suit and received the bottom and was notified that the top was on back order. After two weeks of not hearing anything, I found out my top for my bathing suit was cancelled and was not notified that it was! Now I have a bathing suit bottom doesn't go with anything. Please refund me for the inconvenience of the bottom since I can't use it for anything and not being notified. I will never buy anything from Venus again. This is the second time Venus has left me down

I ordered a blouse which was 21$ a week ago. It just arrived today and it barely looks like the one in the picture! The size of it it's okay, the colour as well but the quality it's bad. The blouse has cut outs in the sleeves and it looks completely different than the ones in the picture, as if they cut it in a rush! I should'v just bought a blouse somewhere else and cut it out myself! Never ordering from them again
I bought the first one in my size and it was way to small. I ended up giving it to my niece. I really like the look of the suit so I ordered another in a larger size. The suit still was to small. Needless to say I will not be buying anything again from this store and will be closing my account.
I brought over $300 in merchandise and not satisfied with over half of my order. The faux leather comes off after one wear, sucks! The asymmetric coat material is VERY cheaply made and ripped when i tried it on. Expensive clothes, trendy, but thats it! VERY UNSATIFIED customer. Dont buy if over a size 0 -4.
I ordered three tops from Venus. Two were ill-fitting so I notified them I was making a return. They e-mailed requesting that I wait to mail the return until I received a POSTAGE PAID mailing label from them in the mail. I got the label, returned the items and then received an e-mail notifying me my return had been completed and showing a $6.95 charge for the return label and a $9.95 charge for return shipping deducted from my refund. Really? I could have printed a label free myself and probably gotten a better postage rate. I felt tricked and ripped off.
I ordered a pair of shoes and was given an estimated day of arrival for delivery. That day cane and went without so much as an email from Venus so I called them and they told me it was on backorder and that the shoes would ship out the following Monday. When I didn't get the shoes or an email I called back and another rep told me it would ship out the following week. This happened again two more times! Mind you, if you look at the shoes on their website it states they're available for purchase. I finally told them to cancel my order. I won't ever order from these people again. Shady business.

Bought 4 shirts. Returned every single one of them because the material they were made out of was very thin! All of them were made in the Philippines for I am sure a fraction for what I paid for them. If I am going to pay $32 for a shirt I expect it to have at least the same quality at a minimum as to what I can get at Target or Kohl's. Will never order this cheap crap from Venus again!

They don't carry a wide range of sizes. The sizing reminds me of Walmart sizing, where a size small is really more like a medium or large elsewhere. The shipping is high, and you have to pay return shipping. The quality of the materials and workmanship is average to below average. For example, elastic is cheap and quickly stretches out, and a sweater I bought stretched out the first time I wore it. The only good thing I can say is that they ship things out quickly.
I ordered from Venus many times in the last 5-6 years and I was always satisfied with the clothes and the delivery. My orders arrived in estimated time, looked exactly as pictured on the website and the size fit as expected.

I live in Canada, so I usually try to buy items that were made in US in order to avoid paying customs. Each item on the site is clearly marked as "Made in US" or "Imported"
I paid for my dresses and they have never arrived. They told me that they were re-shipped and still nothing... this was over four months ago. They offer a tracking system that is a joke and will always say that the shipment is in the system ready to ship... This site is a complete scam and they draw you in with pretty designs with your definite order in mind and then nothing... stay away!

Stealing money from you with return! Shipping back is not 6,95! It's just a label! They charge you shipping cost they create their own prices for that. I return items from 4 different orders. Used one label and my own box. They charged me 6,95 for label, and each order had additional 9, 95, 7, 95, 5, 95, 7, 95. This is THEFT!
I will go to my bank tomorrow with printed everything. Also have their $6,95 instructions with no explanation about additional shipping charge. And their web site doesn't tell that. VENUS IS THIEFS!

I ordered from venus about 7 months ago I never received the package I called back package was delivered to another address. I was treated very badly I was told they cannot deliver to my address anymore I have gave them my sister's address and the same thing happened it was delivered to wrong address again. This time they had nothing to say. I think they r racist and this company is a white owner

I returned a "reversable cape" only because I just didn't love it. The cape was $29.99. Those a-holes charged me $19.95 to return it! $6.95 for the shipping label (really people?) and $12.95 for the return. $12.95? It wasn't made out of titanium for god sake. Read the fine print before you return ANYTHING. I'll never order from Venus again.
I qualified for free shipping because of the amount of my purchase. When I returned an item they took off $6.95 to send it back and then another $4.95 for the free shipping of the original order. I would not recommend the store to anyone

I always liked Venus clothing however, I must say that I am disappointed in the quality lately. I ordered the lace jumpsuit in red as well as, black. The fabric is of poor quality and the scalloped edging on the lace does not lie properly.

Bought the tuxedo pants. I ordered my normal size and the pants came in huge.
The box came with a return label. I returned only to be told it would not be replaced with a smaller size and no credit would be given. So I basically gave them back the product they can now resell and I am out the money and the item.
