I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
I ordered a bathing suit and matching cover-up pants. The suit was great and I was very pleased, but the pants was huge. The return materials say $6.95 for the use of the shipping label. I used their label and returned them. When the return was processed, they deducted >$16 for the label PLUS $9.95 for shipping! They never said anything about this extra charge in their return policy. I could have shipped it back myself for about $5. This was a ripoff! Don't order than anything that you might have to return.

Every time I buy something with them they have a problem, I bought a dress 1 month ago and they haven't sent it to me because this backorder (because it sells it if they don't have it) as well as two swimsuits, a tank top.
I also bought a dress and they sent me pants and they also charged me the return label for a mistake that was not mine.
I definitely don't buy anything with them anymore.
So I ordered a swimsuit from here last year and I loved the top not so much the bottom but no biggie. My boyfriend bought me a coat from here for my bday and I loved but it only lasted a year until it started fraying, still wearable just need to constantly burn strands lol. However, I always liked their clothes I've seen in their catalogs so I decided to do a bigger order this time and spent around $300. I liked every item so I am surprised there are so many people that don't it's making me wonder if I just got lucky and should I order again? My only issue is the shoes are too small and I don't know if I should return it because I don't think I should have to pay so many fees and i don't want to risk running into this issue again and being stuck with it. I also ordered a top that I didn't know was on backorder until after checking out... by the time I get the shirt it will be too warm out. Still skeptical about the company.
Great clothing poor customer communication. Ordered top and bottom bathing suit. I wasn't told they only had the top. They ship only the top. They could have notify me before they ship that they didn't have the both pieces. I called the customer service and the only thing they can do is saying I applogize... so if I order shoes they might send me one shoe and apologize lol. BTW, I've ordered from them in the past and no complaint there.
I ordered my garments and checked my email that my card was declined. I used PayPal which comes directly from my bank account so my credit card cannot be compromised.
After speaking to a representative from Venus her qoutenwords were "your credit card was declined". I explained that I didn't use a credit card and the response was it was declined due to funds". After speaking to PayPal the transaction went through and they need to cancel it on their end to refund the transaction. WTF I thought the funds were no good per the representative at Venus. Now is it me or does the company need to hire a customer service teacher on how to discuss these issues with the clients? Not angry, just disappointed.

I ordered a jumpsuit- didn't fit and was poor quality material, the cost $36.99.
They send a return label within package and after returning it, I was charge 6.95 for the label & 4.95 for shipping adjustment. So instead of getting refunded for the amount paid I was refunded 25.09. I'm charged 11.90 for an item that doesn't fit.
NEVER WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE AGAIN - RIP OFF!

I have gotten bathing suits from them that were amazing. I recently ordered a few shirts, a dress, and some boots that were pricey. I only wore the shirts maybe once before they started unraveling. The dress was un wearable because it fringed up in the backside. When I tried to wear the boots the heals were so wobbly I had to take them right back off in fear of them breaking off and me breaking my neck. I messaged them and was told they couldn't help me that I'd have to call returns. I called returns and was told that because they had been wore once that I could not return them, even though the quality was so cheap they literally could only be wore once. This place is a rip off, the customer service sucks and people are rude as hell. They would not let me return the items, just told me they were sorry that I was dissatisfied. Well yeah...$200 later on this crap. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone!
I recently bought a pantsuits for my wedding and it was absolutely stunning. It came in a few days of ordering (I did not exposure shipping) and the quality of the outfit was amazing. I had such a good experience that I ended up ordering the same outfit in a different color based on my husbands insistance, as he could see how amazing it was.

I was shocked to see bad reviews form customers on Venus. I have bought from them for a couple of years now and have always been extremely happy with my purchases. I get tons on compliments on my Venus clothes. M and swimwear. I think the quality is excellent and the price is great. I have had to return items before for sizing and never had a problem with returns or exchanges. When I have called customer service I have always had a great expierence. I felt the need to write this review to say give them a chance, if you see something you like order it. You never know until you try it. I am not sure why there are negitave reviews, I have been a very happy customer and will continue to purchase from them.
Do not order from this company if you are from Canada. I placed an order over a month in advance as I am going on vacation in Cuba. After initial order, I received a notice from Landmark Global to pay for taxes and duty. I ignored it, as I have no idea who they are, and I assumed that I would pay taxes and duties COD. After 5 business days, I should have received product, as they guarantee. Still nothing so I thought I had better check with Landmark Global about making a payment, but the notice indicated product has already been shipped. So I waited. After 10 days still nothing. I contacted Venus who informed me it would take 21 days. Still waited. Now at 21 days still nothing. I contacted VENUS again and they tell me it is stuck at the border, and I can request a refund. Which I did. What a waste of MY time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY... I should have listened to all the bad reviews I read! Now, we will see if I recieve a full refund.
I have been having a hard time finding cute clothes and I was weary about ordering clothes on Venus since it's a online clothing company but within the last month I got a whole new wardrobe from Venus and I have to say I LOVE LOVE the clothes and if for any reason a shirt doesn't look good on me the return process is super easy and I get my refund within 2 weeks. And now that I know my size which is a small I order everything in a small and all the tops fit me the same. Took me awhile to figure out my number size through trial and error but I got it now! And now I have a whole new wardrobe full of sexy fun unique tops. I now have my confidence back! Thanks Venus clothing for being fabulous!

I called in to see why my offer code didn't show on my order, not only was the representative rude, but so was the manager, unbelievable, after I told the rep how rude she was, I wanted to speak to manager, manager didn't apologize for rep being rude, she spoke over me, and basically defended her employee, last time I shop there.
I will never buy from Venus again. A simple return has cost me nearly $13. What an absolute waste. The company is trying to force people to keep clothes they simply don't want.

Started an account end of 2020. Had the WORST WORST experience with them in every freaking aspect. I dont even take the time to write reviews good or bad but Venus deserves every bad review they get. Very condescending customer service reps. Only ordered twice and had to return each tims. Also on the account end of things. Never had so much trouble paying a Bill. First bill was $41 but they charged me 40 and then said I was delinquent.? Wtf? Charge the extra dollar! Had trouble paying the second bill online bc they only accept ach. Can't even just pay a payment with the simple debit card or credit card. Nope! Had to call and was told it would be a $9 fee to pay online. What a crock! Got sent as delinquent to creditors and credit dropped 100 freaking points due to their janky $#*! pymt system. I pay my bills like freaking clockwork! Goodbye venus. You wont get any more of my money! Do everyone a favor and don't spend your hard-earned money with this place because they are a scam!
I ordered 4 dressed for a Hawaii cruise I will be taking the dresses were beautiful quality material, I usually wear between a medium and large I could definitely fit in the mediums perfectly from Venus I will definitely be ordering from them again very soon. Also I paid the two day shipping to make sure I got them before my trip and they came just as promised.
Shocked to receive this gaudy cheap clothing. A yellow coat made of some type of fabric which would catch on fire if near a flame. A dress with buttons so obnoxious i cannot image wearing.

I ordered a jacket waited 2 weeks for arrival and received a completely different jacket. I have sent over 10 emails and recieved nothing back. This website is a scam and a waste of time, customer service is non existant. STAY AWAY!
The item I ordered was backordered (which wasn't obvious on their page when I ordered it). I was excited when it looked like they finally had it in stock. I paid the duties and waited for it to arrive. Unfortunately, they sent me a totally different item instead. Now I'm on the hook for duties and exchange rate expenses. This site is completely disorganized and unprofessional. I hope they don't screw up the refund as well.:-(

I recently purchased 3 dresses from Venus, I purchased the knot front maxi dress, the wrap maxi dress and the maxi w/tassel detail. For the most part the dresses did look like what was depicted in the pictures. All of the dresses are thin and a slip will need to be worn with them so that you can't see through the dress, but this was expected. (I've purchased from other catalogues and the quality of online clothing versus brick and mortar stores is definitely cheaper). I ordered the items on the 23rd and received them on the 31st. With the expectations that I had of the site, all in all I'm pleased and do intend to buy from them again soon.
I ordered two items on December 26 it was supposed to ship to my job since am rarely home and I have not yet received the items. I called to find out what happened to items according to consumer service " the shipping address was different my from my billing address " when I explained it to her she said " she's going to ship it out to me " I have not received anything, I did call back again spoke to the supervisor she apologized and said " she's going to ship the items express and waived the fees " that was on January 22 and I still didn't received the items so I reported them to corporate. I would never ever order anything from this company again this is the worst I ever experienced ordering stuff online.
I have been order from Venus since 3 years ago I never have been dissappointed excelent quality and the sizes are perfect. The I tem I live the most is a black laced gown, used for my first cruise and Everybody was giving me compliments. Highly recommened
Made an order in November. In January was told I wouldn't receive the package until I payed custom fees even though I was given a choice to pay them at the door(that's a lie). I payed over $100 of custom fees and at the end of January received an email that the package has been returned. Never received my order and waisted money on god damn fees. The worst experience ever. I have never dealt with such a horrible website.
I sent everything back the exact same day they received it and said they gave me refund but yet it still showed that I owed over $130 and I already made a payment and I only kept one $39 dress and I was supposed to get $15 off of that purchase of any amount for my birthday

Ordered a swim top for Mexico and they sent me a completely different suit. Called to tell them the problem and I sent the suit back. Told them NOT to send me anything else (already went to Mexico) and to take me off of all email subscriber lists. They sent (and charged) me for the wrong suit AGAIN. So now I have to spend more time shipping the wrong suit back. Unbelieve incompetence. Oh yeah, they still send me emails. Requested 2x's to remove my email.
I purchased a bathing suit January 22nd, it is now February 29th and I still have not received my bathing suit, they did not send me a email to pay my duties. They will not respond to your emails.
I called their customer service line on the 22nd of February since they didn't respond to my email and they said I will get it on the 26th. Still sitting here with nothing. If you're Canadian I suggest picking a different site
