I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
I purchased 3 items from Venus, which took a long time to ship. 2 pairs of jeans and a skort, all of which were too big. I followed their size chart and had the impression that some things would be too small so I am confused as to what is going on with that.
I was going to return to Venus, but noticed I didn't have a shipping label. I contacted them and was told that customers in Canada are responsible for their own returns. I Check out the cost and oh man, we are not doing that.
Decided to resell online, hope that works. Venus' return policy isn't very good, why the hate towards Canada? I spent the money same as your American customers, I'd like to be treated fairly. I would have been happy to exchange, but being told that lets me know that shopping with Venus will always be a hassle, returns and exchanges will never be possible. There are plenty of other places for me to shop.
The clothes I got were actually pretty nice, I'm sad that I cannot enjoy them. But for those prices and making exchange and return this difficult, I'll pass on that from now on.

My size is generally between a 10-14 US, depending on where I shop. I followed the size chart on each item I purchased and everything that came was too big, I would almost suggest going down a size or two, esp if the fabric is stretchy. Of course, depending on your personal preference for fit and feel.

This is to follow my previous CANADIAN review regarding the $1000 in "shipping" fees which a rude Venus employee explained I was charged because my orders were mistakenly shipped express instead of standard. I was directed to Can. Post, Customs & back to Venus. No luck until 1 pleasant Venus employee gave me # of shipping co. Who emailed 2 itemized bills which were significantly higher than what I charged@ post office. (This is not due to customs, taxes or exchange rate. I AM NOW WAITING FOR SHIPPING CO. TO LOOK INTO THESE HIGHER CHARGES.) Based upon this new info, I feel it only fair to update my review. Venus did NOT charge me express shipping as they previously told me. I have added 2 stars due to this. I am also adding 1 star because I LIKE THE CLOTHING. (Yes, their sizing runs big.) I am holding 1 star because of how I was initially treated by Venus (rudely) and for the high "mystery shipping-related fees" I am still trying to recover.
I had a coupon/code offer for free shipping. I purchased 4 or 5 items including one item for $24.99. That item did not fit and I returned it. WHY BOTHER?!? My refund was $4.10! UNREAL! I contacted customer service and they stuck by it. One would think they would 'refund' me back the shipping expenses since I kept 3 or 4 of the items I purchased. HOW INSULTING! $4.10 CREDIT ON A RETURNED ITEM THAT COST ME $24.99?
Their catalogue may look enticing but their BUSINESS PRACTICES STINK! I hope you won't have to return anything like I did!

I've ordered from this company three times. I am in Canada so was very happy to receive free shipping (orders over $100). My first order arrived in one week exactly and everything fit perfectly, looked awesome and I felt the items were above average quality for the price paid. My second order however contained items that were rather randomly sized so I returned a few of them. The return process itself was no problem. As I was visiting the US I used the pre-printed label that they supply with every order. I was charged the $6.95 to return the items which was no surprise as they tell you this in advance. I have seen other reviewers that mention they were charged an additional fee also, but this was not my experience. Perhaps their return brought the original order to under $100 in which case shipping is charged on the order (clearly stated in the return policy).
The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the "Customer Care" phone line. I have called them several times and each time, they sound like they are regurgitating a scripted response in a very disinterested manner and have to pass on any request to a supervisor who will contact you... eventually, I'm sure...
On the whole, great clothes, reasonable quality and price but the customer service and follow up really lets them down.

For those ordering for the first time in Canada, be aware that if you return items you will need a detailed credit note or letter from Venus to submit with your refund claim (CBSA Form B2G) for taxes and duties. You will also require a form B3 from Landmark Global (very helpful and responsive by email but don't try to contact them by phone).
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, VERY STUCK UP AND HAS A "DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS' BUSINESS" KIND OF ATTITUDE! This company doesn't seem to care about acquiring new customers which means they must be doing really well financially, I'll take my business to someone who cares and who can process my order in a timely manner! Usually when the customer service stinks it's also an indication of a not-so-great product! Ciao!

When ordering on the VENUS website, they mention that it is FREE SHIPPING when you order over $100. That's what I did. However, to get my package at the post office I had to pay an extra $60.44 in customs fee as VENUS ships from BELGIUM! I ended up having to return half of my order as the sizes were just too big after having waited for a whole month. I will not be ordering from VENUS again.
Horrible customer service had two things break in my order and they will not give me the proper amount of money back i cannot buy comparable dresses for the amount of 25.00, I bought my orginal items with E certificates and they said I cannot get a refund there items are of extremely poor quality and it ruined my holiday season. I have had just about enough and venus both refuses to give me my money back as well as give me anything complementary besides a 25 dollar certificate that doesn't even cover an comparable item... i also had friends who their items broke within the first wear that I had to personally pay back and I was considered a thief for using their e certificates but they did not want anything from venus that's how awful this place is stay away... Horrible customer service horrible company - Do not buy from here I had Order #******* and venus to me owes me at least 40 dollars plus compensation for my time. I would give zero stars if allowed... Enless venus would do something grand to change my mind they lost a customer today.

Stay away from sites that have to use fake/shill accounts to try hype up their pathetic ratings. They apparently don't know that GOOD SERVICE and PRODUCTS will get you good ratings for free!
I almost, ALMOST, did not purchase anything from Venus because of the negative reviews all over the place. But I had a cart full of beautiful, drool-worthy, and original clothing that I just couldn't find anything like it anywhere else. I mean, yeah, there are nice boutiques around, but the prices are 20-30% higher. So I figured, what the heck, I'll just get them and bite the bullet.
So I did. I spent $200 and held my breath the two weeks it took for them to get to me. First thing I did was try everything on. And I can happily say everything fit me wonderfully and was absolutely beautiful. I'm 5'2", so short, and yet no problems there. I'm 110 pounds size 3/4 and the extra small fits me nice and comfortably, not too baggy and not too tight. Everything is exactly what I had hoped for. Now I will shop confidently on Venus.com.
Oh, I understand things get a bit iffy if you have to return something. I'm keeping that in mind and just not planning on returning anything. I'll sell it on ebay or give it away.
I purchased three dresses that I received from Venus. I decided that the material was too thin and cheap for me so I sent the items back using their label.
I was expecting ALL of my refund back minus the return shipping 6. 95. 00 Well, I received partial credit back to my credit card and a CREDIT SLIP for $15.00 to use towards future purchases at Venus.
I told the gal I didn't want a credit slip and NO where on their site does it say you will receive partial refund and a CREDIT SLIP if you are dissatisfied.
I asked the gal to close my account immediately and refund ALL of my money and she said, I can close your account right away and you can give your credit slip to a friend to use.
I said no, and she said their was nothing she could do about it, when I asked to speak to a manager she hung up on me.
Very disappointed in using Venus and Never will again. By the time they charged me shipping and tax my order was $29 & it was too large so i returned the sweater. By the time I paid $1.50 for the envelope and shipping I only got back $15 so I will NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. I will stick to places like Amazon. Never have that problem. I mean really $5 to ship it here and $7 to ship it back and it weighed nothing. Disappointed customer! If u want to waste money them buy fRom them.

I'm just going to say this. I have spent hundreds probably even thousands in orders from Venus.com however this last order I made all the sizing was off. I ended up returning everything. Normally it's not a big deal but they ended up CHARGING me extra when I sent in my return. It should of only be $6 for the return label but they kept $18 of MY money. I tried to email several times and get ZERO replies. I then post on one of their Facebook post and I get an instant reaction because everyone on Facebook can see my displeasure. They tell me to send them a private message. I did. I AGAIN get ignored. This cycle has gone on and on for weeks now. I'm exhausted trying to get my money back. VENUS.COM can keep my $18 if they need it that bad. What they have done w/ their horrid customer service is lost out on hundreds of future orders from me. I am glad I realized what a shady company this is. DO NOT buy from them. They are horrible, will ignore you, and also charge you money if you try to return your entire order back. You'll be ignored and become exhausted trying to contact them. Thanks VENUS.COM for showing me NOW instead of LATER what a bunch of con's you are. RUN don't walk, away from this website.

Ive ordered items that are shown with zippers and belts and when received it looks nothing like the picture! Your lucky if the fabric is good quality!
The bathing suit tops are not true to size. I returned the item but of course they have never received my returned after a month. Customer service is less than to be desired.
Before you buy in this company make sure read the return policy they charge you like $12 for any return and take a little longer I have a bad experience I am not going to by nothing again

My mom purchased a couple of tops for my 15 yr old daughter, they seemed to be too grown up for her so we found two tops and a pair of boots (in which I would owe money). I filled out the exchange form, but there was no where to put my credit card number since I owed money, I read the exchange policy and they said I had to call. Customer service told me I had to send off the items and then my mom would be contacted by email so then she would have to let me know with the exchange. I did not want my moms feelings hurt by letting her know that we did not like the items she purchased. The customer service girl said sorry its our policy. I am shocked on such an easy process to exchange something can be so difficult, time consuming and embarrassing to the person who purchased. I will never order from this company again and will get the word out by mouth, and as far as other reviews, customers were not happy for other reasons. So if you don't want to know your exchanging a gift then don't order.
I ordered two items from Venus, I live in Canada, the website assured me the delivery would take 7 business days. I failed to pay the duties in advance, and all of a sudden my package is going to be 21 business days. There was zero warning of this on the website, otherwise I'd have never ordered from them. I have paid the duties on other parcels upon arrival before without any delay to the delivery service. It has now been more than 21 business days and on three occasions I have spoken with different abrupt, rude members of staff on the live chat who have essentially accused me for the delay and kept saying different due dates - each time extending it and making out like I was an idiot for not calculating it correctly. When I requested a refund for the terrible postal service that has become somewhat of an inconvenience (I don't even want the clothes at this stage) they refused and said I could just reject the parcel when it arrives - i. E. minimum hassle for them, all the hassle for me. The way I was spoken to by the staff of Venus, and this absolutely absurd delivery situation has made my decision never to shop with them again, and I strongly advise anyone else to save themselves the hassle as well.

It looks like a SCAM to me - how come their website freezes very convenient at the last step of the payment, after the client adds their visa info and they're just waiting for confirmation? Then after 5 minutes it comes back at the previous screen asking again for the same info, but meanwhile the payment was processed just that it only shows on your Visa account and not on their website…

I paid for 2 day shipping... on a Saturday... I understand what 2 business days means... which to me for 2 day shipping. Would be Tuesday then... Not for this site, I paid to get my order 5 days after I ordered it... I ordered from Victorias secret the same day and didnt pay for any kind of expedited shipping and will have my order sooner. Dont give this company free money to NOT get your order to you when they say youll get it... Not sure if I will order from this company again. I dont like being played to get extra money out of me. Order was shipped Aug 1, it's Aug 15 and has not arrived yet. Shipping to Canada should not take this long. They have had my $$ since I ordered July 31. AND I have to pay duty when it arrives... CANADIANS STAY AWAY.

I love the store and clothing, but if something doesn't fit I don't think you should be charged for return or exchange. It cost me a extra $14.00 on a outfit and the price went up too.
