I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.

I have been a loyal customer for many years. In Oct 2019 I was out of town on business and did not receive my bill. I was a week late paying and they turned me into the credit bureau WITHOUT WARNING or NOTIFICATION. It dropped my score by 90 pts. I will not be a part of this type of behavior toward loyal customers.

I placed an order for the first time with Venus and I must say I am pissed off. My tracking originally said I would have my packed on the 8/8/20 but I never got my packed. Then I checked Monday 8/10/20 and it's saying I won't get my packed until the 14th and I needed the dress i ordered for a wedding in Mexico on the 15th... I leave on the 13th. I did the online chat and asked why did the shipping change and she responded "I don't understand your concern!" Like really! So now I have to return the dress when it comes because I won't have any use for it. It seems as if they just shipped my package. But I don't understand because doesn't UPS have to scan in packages? Why did it say it was already in transit to the city I live in?

I just received my order yesterday and I love everything I purchased, quality was great and fits to size. While I am happy with what I received I am not happy with what I ended up paying for it so I will not be ordering again from them. My purchase for 2 dresses, a bathing suit top and a pair of sandals was $110 USD with the exchange it came to just short of $150 CDN and when I picked up the parcel yesterday I had to pay another $36 in duties and taxes bringing my purchase to almost $190. I'm sure I could have found something comparative in Canada if I had taken the time to look around. Now that I am aware of how expensive it becomes to purchase from here sadly I will be shopping elsewhere.

Shipping issues a constant problem with this company. They got a "new" shipping company based from Germany and it's taking forever to get up here. The last Venus customer service rep had the audacity to suggest that it was a payment issue but I have proof that TD Visa processed payment immediately August 8th when I ordered. They (VENUS/SHIPPING) didn't process order and ship until August 12th. Why did my order end up in Nashville? In this day and age of FedEx/Purolator/UPS... why am I still waiting on my order on August 17th? Get with the times Venus!

I juts wanted to send a quick note to express how unpleased I am with Venus. I ordered a few items totaling over $100 so I received "free" shipping. A couple of the items were defective so I had to return them and decided to get a refund. I was charge $10 for the shipping of the items! Yes, the same items that were subpar in quality, that I had to go through the trouble of packing and returning, now I was being charge $10 shipping for them, when it was supposed to be FREE shipping...
I have been ordering from Venus for a good 4+ years. At first they were easy to deal with and items were close to what the pictures showed. Last year or so the quality is hit and miss, and so is the items looking like the pictures. I have had issues in the past, but they usually get resolved, after a phone call or two.
This last time (mid march to late march) I ordered a bunch of things at different times, for an upcoming trip. I sent some back for refunds, and others I needed a different size. They refunded me back all the items I sent, including the ones I clearly marked exchange on. I have called twice now, first was told it was an internal error and would be corrected, the second time got a rude person who said, just reorder them. I explained they were on sale when I did order them, and just wanted a different size, she said too late, error was made and no way to give me my items at price I originally paid. I am now having to go shop for some items I was hoping to bring on my trip from a local store.
I will think twice before ordering from them again. I used to keep 75% of their items, now lucky if 25% fit for the size they are marked, and if they look like the picture at all. I have items from them that are XS, and then have items that I need a medium in, the sizes vary too much to know what size to order. Between the calls, shipping and return charges and the disappointment of getting an item that looks nothing like the picture, I am just wasting my time with them. I emailed them again today regarding this, but will be surprised if I ever get a response.

This company is a joke, you call in and make and expedited payment and PAY THE 9.00 to do this because of an honest mistake of sending a check from the wrong account! And called 2 weeks before they processed it, did NOT NOTE THE ACCOUNT LIKE ASKED and they PUT THE CHECK THROUGH ANYWAY and charge me an additional 29.00! WHAT A JOKE. Would give ZERO stars if I could, the so called supervisor was Absolutely NO HELP~
Their sizing is way off. I am a true to size medium. Even when looking at the sizing charts on the venus website
I would be considered a medium. I ordered clothing for my mother (3 dresses and a romper) all in size smalls. THE SIZE SMALLS WERE WAY TO BIG ON ME. Which means that I would need extra small to fit my medium frame!? I live in Canada and shipping back is ridiculous. Do NOT buy from them unless you want clothes that do NOT fit.

EXTREMELY poor customer service! I placed an order that had a different shipping address than billing address and received an email asking that I call them. The Customer Service rep said that they wouldn't ship to a different address than the billing address (then why offer this option?). I agreed to have it shipped to my billing address and was told someone would need to be there to sign for the package, which is why I was having it sent to the shipping address I originally entered! I told them to CANCEL the entire order and after reading the poor reviews due to quality I am glad this happened.
I've ordered twice and will never order again when I received my dresses they look nothing like the pics! Took so long to get them and then they sent it to the wrong address! Very disappointed
I have been purchasing from Venus for several years because they send me a paper catalog and now I order online instead of calling them. Out of a hundred orders I have placed, only once was a mistake ever made in processing a return. They are much faster at returns processing than most companies. Occasionally an item runs out and you have to wait two months or more for an item but not often. Usually things are in stock or ready in a few weeks. That's normal for the clothing industry. I always send back a few things that don't fit, and keep what's fabulous. Their dresses are a bargain and their swimsuits are the best fitting and best quality I've ever seen from any US company. I will continue to buy my dresses and swimsuits and some sweaters and fabulous shoes from Venus. If I don't like it, I just send it back. I never have any problems. I can always get a live person on the phone to help me quickly. I love this company and I never get as many compliments as when I'm wearing one of their items.
I purchase clothes online and have for years. This is the first time Ive had so much trouble! Ive been waiting for my refund since May 4 th and they still respond with this 3-5 days bs! Its May 17th and Venus owes me 156$ which I doubt Ill ever get back. Their customer service reps sound awful. I asked her if my refunded was processed she said uhhuh. No consideration no manners just awful. So I asked to speak with a supervisor and the supervisor told me on May 11th that the refund had been processed to wait 3 business days. That was Friday and its now Thursday. When I emailed customer support just now they told me to wait 72 hours... I can tell time but can they? Just an awful experience.
After writing this they asked for my customer number and replied with the number..., still waiting.,.
I emailed them again and still the same bs... they must have prewtitten rebuttles because its literally the same thing.
Its friday the 18th now and still no refund... STAY AWAY!

I ordered a dress final sale, sadly I had lost weight and the dress was too big. The company REFUSED to refund me, return it to me or give me at the very least a credit for it THEY basically just took my money and said so sad to bad... and we will not allow you working yourself to death to return a dress and get your money or even a credit back to use at another time... Will NEVER EVER but another thing from them.

They have cute clothes but I have to say their customer service is not worth the clothes. They have a contact us but they never help. My address is incorrect because their website switched my mailing address on me, not sure why it does not mail to the address I put into my profile. I called 5 mins after the order only for customer service to blame me for the mistake and say that they can not help me even though the order is still in process and has not been shipped yet. Not to mention, only order from them if you have time to wait three weeks or more to get your order. They ship using USPS which does not track your order so you will never know when it is coming. I wrote with these concerns and they just kept blaming me. From what I see in these reviews they are not at all concerned about their customers being satisfied. I am about ready to cancel my credit card and send all merch coming my way right back to them without opening it for a refund because their service has been so poor. It has been three weeks that I have been waiting on an order from Venus. They are shipping from Jacksonville, FL and I live in Raleigh NC. That should only be a three-day delivery if that! Be sure to pay extra for UPS or FedEx, the only real carriers who know how to perform their jobs. Shame on VENUS for being so $#*!ty at the customer service!

Very crappy experience. Distribution center is in Ontario but they are actually in US so I had to pay shipping and duties. When I returned their FAR too large clothing, I had to pay another shipping fee of over 25 dollars and they want duty fee again. I ordered this a long time ago and their customer service act like they dont give a damn. NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN

I noticed my negative comments never posted when I ordered a few tops from venus and all of them were extremely small and short in length and fit really tight with tight arms and made me look like a busted can of biscuits. It's odd to have to wait for an email to see if you can review the items you paid for, sometimes you don't get an email to review items. When I posted less than 3 stars on items I noticed my reviews never posted. Those items still have high reviews and I'm a size 4/6 so if I was unhappy with the sizing I'm sure many others were and somehow this company pretends to offer higher end clothing yet its cheaply made overseas with garbage thin material. Someone else made a review with 5 stars and the review said they noticed they couldn't share negative reviews and were posting a 5 star to see if it posted and sure enough that was the proof I needed. Their swim is hit and miss and sizing is never consistent. Also way overpriced for what you get, I only shop with them if it's a really cheap sale on bathing suits which I did recently and spent about 20 bucks per suit

I have shopped with Venus on and off for many years and considered myself a good loyal customer. Just this year I placed seven different orders for more than a dozen items with only one item returned. However, it took one bad return experience on top of a dismissive representative to leave a bad taste in my mouth and unsubscribe. Apparently I stumbled on the final sale item and I never had in the past (I never search for them on purpose), so I didn't realize that. Venus still included the return label, so I shipped it back and just got a processed refund notice for zero dollars. The company doesn't even offer to ship the item back, if I was willing to keep it after all and pay for extra shipping. I made an honest mistake and didn't notice the fine print, but just because the company is legally in the right, it doesn't make it the right thing to do. Some online sellers offer a once-per-year goodwill adjustment to their regular shoppers and Venus doesn't even offer it once-per-lifetime. It's a pretty bad business decision and not a friendly return policy, especially considering that we cannot try the items on before making the purchase. Oh and by the way - that "discontinued item" (the language they use to refuse the refund) is still featured on the Venus website, so they are just going to resell it and pocket the money twice.

Don't order from here ever. It has been such a NIGHTMARE. I ordered a package three weeks ago and was really excited to receive it the other night. When I opened it I discovered that inside was none of the products I had ordered and actually contained someone else's name and order form! Yet my name and address were on the outside of the package. How does that even happen? I called customer service and they were super understanding or so I thought. The man told me had upgraded my package to overnight shipping for free so that I would get it the next day... two days go by and nothing. I call again and the woman says that despite what that man said he never submitted for another package to be sent and that she could send one out to me and have it there a week later. Furious I said no I was told it can be upgraded to overnight shipping for free and she responded oh yes I can do that as well. Three days later and I still have not received my package. Cute suits for good prices but it is not worth all of this I will never order from here again. Here's to hoping I receive my package at some point!
