I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.
WHATEVER you do, DON'T get a credit card from this company. Twice I called their Customer Service Dept about late fees being added to a $40 dollar balance I never received a statement for. I updated my address over the phone with TWO DIFFERENT CS agents, and still have NOT received a statement or card in the mail as they promised twice. Since that time, Commenity Bank, who manages credit for Venus, keeps adding late fees to my balance, which is now $77.00. The Customer Service Agents PROMISED they would remove all late fees so I could pay my $41 and something dollars, but each of them FAILED to do what they said they would and instead added late charges to a balanced I TRIED TO PAY! They lied, misrepresented and falsified. DON'T EVER GET VENUS CREDIT! IN FACT, MAYBE STOP SHOPPING FROM THEM ALTOGETHER; THEY OVERCHARGE AND THEY STEAL.
Have been ordering for years from Venus for years most of them are nice, the worst is the company they use for shipping LANDMARK they are thieves they said they drop your stuff off and did not I was in my front yard all day gardening and no one came.

I live in Canada. I placed 2 large orders 5 days apart. I chose STANDARD shipping (21 days +) & I also used their offer of a promo for FREE shipping.
But 3 days after my 2nd order, BOTH ORDERS ARRIVED AT POST OFFICE marked COD... WITH A TOTAL DUE OF $1000. What happened to my free shipping? Insult to injury: Venus employee insisted the $1000 fee was "duties & taxes" (NOT) & rudely told me, "I have nothing to do with your country."
I have ordered from Venus a few times and each time has been a huge disappointment. The clothing material is extremely cheap and the craftsmanship is horrible. The clothing either fell apart or faded after the first few washes. Knowing this, I still ordered a pair of boots from their most recent fall catalog. Here we go:
The boots in the catalog looked beautiful. There were gorgeous details on them. The buckles were a very classy touch... I could not wait to get them... and then yesterday, they arrived.
The boots were made out of some type of horrible and cheap plastic looking material. Sure, the description of the boot was labeled as synthetic but I did not think too much about the word. I have a few pairs of shoes labeled as synthetic... but these boots were a joke! Those suckers were returned before the sun went down that day... Do your self a favor, keep away from their boots... and alot of other things... They are changing you out the $#*! for things and their merchandise is totally worthless... I am not trying to be mean or slam anyone... but I would hate for someone else to fall into this synthetic boot trap~ :)
I place my order and paid extra for rush delivery because I couldn't wait to get my new clothing. I bought four dresses to choose from for an upcoming wedding a Sweater and a maxiskirt.
Sad to say the dresses were very poor and cheap quality like something you would find in a bodega shop in a shady neighborhood for $10. One of the dresses was completely see-through! Like who is actually wearing this? Then there's the $59 sweater. Looked expensive and worth $59 on the Catalog but When I saw it I felt like a dumbass for paying $59. I wouldn't pay $8 for it tops that's how cheap it looked. The maxi-skirt, I can make it work and that's the only thing I got out of this bad deal.
The Only good thing is that I get a full refund.
This company is fraudulent.
1st they send you a tracking number that non-existent.
2 then- they turn around and say the ORDER NUMBER THEY provided is incorrect.

I just bought 2 bathing suits and spent around $120 because my past Venus swim suits were of good quality. But these new ones are not. I bought 2 skirted bottoms and waist of TAHITI FLORALS(THF) is sewn inside out not like the web photos at all, horrible. And the other BLOSSOMING BRIGHTS(BMB) has good waistline but white bottoms underneath looks like cheat diaper, I have 20 skirted bottom and non are white or totally different than outer pattern. I love the top patterns though. The tops are great but with the bottoms so bad not sure what to do, non returnable. So Sad

01/14/2017 I ordered 4 items from this website. 2 days later I got email that one of the items is back order, ok cool, expecting 3 items. On 01/20/2017 I got my package only 2 items was mailed to me. I kept calling them, they will hang-up the phone on me. After freaking 1 1/2 hours on hold, I finally got so called customer service, ghetto deplorable of a human being on the phone. She acted as if she was doing me a favor. Extremely rude. What really got me is the fact that they knew they only sent me 2 items out of 4 items that i ordered. I asked that so called rude customer service person, when would my credit card be refunded. " whenever I godamn ready to put it back"
Get this the most expensive of the items is the one that didn't make it!
Sad part is its my fault, I have had at least 4 bad experiences with this people for the past 5 years. I kept telling myself, maybe they have changed. Someone probably already told them, clue them to do better?

Do NOT buy from this website unless you're 100% sure everything will fit. They are AWFUL at exchanges. I will not explain the whole story, but bottom line is that something went wrong and my account was double dipped. Totally the company's fault, but the first person I spoke with didn't even apologize. In fact, she was very unprofessional. She answered the phone by saying, Hello, first of all. After I told her what the problem was, she didn't respond. Just heard lots of typing in the background. Then she said there wasn't any way to get my money back until they received the merchandise that I didn't even order. The whole process will take about 2 weeks! And I've already waited 2 weeks for my refund. She put me on with her supervisor who basically told me the same thing. I told her that's a long time to wait for my money back when it isn't even my fault. She apologized but basically said that's just the way it is. When I asked her if there was anything else she could do for me ( money off my next order would've been a good thing), she said no. I will NEVER order from them again!
I returned several items on my order due to the sizing being very inconsistent and some pieces looked way different than pictured on website (one had beads/rhinestones glued all over that were not pictured). I used the return label venus provided and filled out the return slip correctly... This would have been for at least $80.00 back. Luckily I kept the tracking number and sure enough it was delivered to them 5 weeks ago!
So I contact customer service by email and tell them everything, how long it has been and that I have tracking info. They sent me back a form email saying refunds may take 14 business days so I should wait (it's been 5 weeks!). But that they don't plan to refund me anyway because the package was never received by them... So how is it that I used a return label provided by them, and tracking says they have it, but it is not their problem?
Considering other people have complained about this exact issue with them I believe it is a tactic to see if people even notice they didn't get the refund. Now I'm going to have to dispute this with my credit card company because this company is so shady. You can get the same quality of clothing on Amazon but at least you know Amazon is going to refund you and not pull scams like this.

I am a 34 year veteran of the retail industry (yes, that is 34 years in the field not my age.) For good reason we have gone from the old credit card imprint machines to cards that don't even have raised account numbers. In April I placed my first order for approximately $430 using a brand new credit card. Unfortunately I entered the CVV incorrectly. It was immediately flagged to me by the credit card company as not processed. I received an automated email from Venus that they would make 3 attempts to process the transaction. What they failed to mention was that those 3 attempts would occur 3 days apart. I waited 5 days, then reordered, which went through immediately. Two days after the successful order they processed the first, meaning they linked the orders and used the correct CVV from the second for the first. That is NOT supposed to happen according to law. We are very strict regarding Personal Credit Information in the retail industry. I had to wait for the extra order to arrive (all the while carrying it on my credit card, accruing interest) and once it did immediately sent it back. After more than a week I called customer service to inquire about my return status. I was told that it could take up to 30 days to process. That was completely unacceptable. I finally got a supervisor on the line and had to throw a fit. It still took 14 more days to process. I will NEVER order from this company again, and as a retail manager have shared this with many other people. Buyer truly beware, not only because this company is difficult to deal with, but because your credit information is not secure.

I've been ordering from Venus for 2 years. Almost everything I have ordered Fit as expected using their sizing charts and reviews. If reviews says order size down I always do and never have a problem. I would rate the quality of the cloths as great. They use a lot of viscose, elastic etc material which requires special laundering ( gentle cycle/ line dry) which if tag laundering is followed the cloths maintain their shape, size and color. I feel they represent their items well in the photos from quality and look. I have placed over a dozen orders and they were always shipped within 3 days with their free shipping. Yes on a couple occasions I ordered back ordered items that were canceled but that happens with all stores and it's not a regular issue. If you follow the size charts and read reviews I think you will be satisfied and don't forget to sign up for their text alerts of their sales for coupons! One thing I wish they would change is to allow anyone to write a review for their purchases. With the 60-100 items I have ordered I have never been invited to write a review which surprises me since if you buy that much clothing from them you must like what your getting. Just a thought.

I've been ordering from this company for years. Two weeks ago I placed an order and paid for next day shipping. A few days pass and still have not received my package. Called customer service and I was advise the warehouse does not work on weekends. Told me my items will ship Monday morning but there is a issue with my address. Explained to them this card has been associated with my address for the last few years and have never had a problem before. It was supposed to be "noted" in the system and I would receive my order by Wednesday. Called again that Friday and it still had not shipped due to the credit card not matching the billing address. I explained to the lady I have lived here two years and have used this card on other orders. I have the lady a new credit card and again was assured I would have my items by Monday afternoon. Here it is Tuesday and I still have not received my order! Called customer service again and they are still telling me my billing address does not match the shipping address. WTH! They pulled previous orders and noticed the last card I was using has been used before on other orders. Now its going to be Thursday before I can get my clothing. If I do not receive my clothing by Thursday, I will cancel my order. My bank even told me there is nothing wrong with my card!

I ordered 2 separate items and the one thing they shipped was not what I ordered. They've yet ( going on 3 weeks) to send my correct order. I strongly do not recommend them!
I had specifically called an associate to be sure I would receive my order before our trip because my last order swimsuit I ordered did not fit correctly, I wanted to be sure this one fit right before we left in case I needed to go and buy a different one. The associate assured me it would be there within 5 days. I placed my order on a Saturday morning. She said it may ship out that day. It shipped on Tuesday. I had specifically requested that the item be shipped UPS for faster delivery. (Usually within 2 days) The associate assured me again that the item would arrive at least by Friday. It is Saturday evening. I just tracked the package. It is due for delivery on Monday evening, the night we leave. I am very disappointed. I guess I will see when I get back if the package even arrived then. I called and the lady I spoke with sounded like she had just woke up from a nap and said, "Hopefully it arrives before you leave." I said and if it doesn't what is your return policy. She said I could just refuse the shipment, however, I won't be home. I sure hope they accept the return and refund my entire payment. It was a high priced item!

I have been ordering from Venus for years and will continue to do so. They are a US company, NOT ONE OF THE SCAM CHINESE COMPANIES. I get a lot of my sweaters for work from here and have ordered from Venus before you had to start worrying about where you were ordering from. I have never had any problems with returns. Have been refunded to their terms for any returned product. Have never waited longer than a normal amount of shipping time to receive product.

Venus allows you to use coupons on their site. Then they charge you the original price, thus allowing you to think you are saving money until you look at your credit statement. They have very disappointing customer service. They will not give you the correct amount- DO NOT TRUST THE PRICE!
I have looked at this site many times and always loved the look of the clothing, finally I ordered, the one dress I really wanted did not have my size so I got just one Coat Dress- its like a very long blazer or suit-jacket dress. On the site it looks very classy and pretty in the photo.
I received the Jacket yesterday and it took about maybe 5-6 days to ship which is expected for standard shipping so no complaints there. The dress/jacket itself came back very similar to the photo, it's not necessarily bad quality but it's also not what I would expect based on the retail price. It looks pretty on, but is a bit loose. I'm about 118 lbs, 5'6 and typically a size 2 will fit me perfectly if not a bit snug so I was surprised as a US size 2 this wasn't very true to size. Aside from the fit, which I can always have altered, there was a slight deviation from the photo to my expectations where the buttons appear to be darker on the dress or black. This is what I thought and when i received the item the buttons were actually the same color as the dress itself which I got in a light/medium grey. I know this isn't huge but I think it would've looked a bit less cheap had the buttons actually been a darker or black color and I was a little disappointed by that small deviation from the photo online.
Overall, if the dress/jacket was priced maybe $10-12 cheaper, I would say it was worth it. However for the prices, I think you could go somewhere more reputable who charges very similarly but the quality is actually there.
Clothes used to be of good quality but now are cheaply made. I even received a used swim suit cover up. They put my email address as my shipping address on not one but TWO of my orders! Just terrible

35 days ago I returned 3 purchases which still are not credited to my account, and it has been 35 days already. I received an email saying the return was approved and the credit would take 7 to 10 business days on top of the 35 days already passed to be available on my account. This is an absurd! Also the reason I returned was because the quality and overall fitting of the dresses were terrible. I'm very unhappy about this purchase and I think the women should be aware of this, in case they decide to purchase anything from VENUS. This is a sign of disrespect with the customer not to mention disorganization. Another thing worthy to mention is that the customer service has no answers for real, and legitimate questions about the return delays and processes. How come they take your money with hours after a purchase and take over 35 days to reimburse you for the return? I think 7 to 10 business days is very reasonable, as other merchants manage to do returns, but 35 to acknowledge the return? + 7-10 days to process it and get your money back is ridiculous and dishonest.
If I was to write here all that I have gone through with Venus, I would need three pages worth of writing. I don't have time for that and more importantly neither does anyone else to read it. All I can say is beware! Do not order from this company if you are in a hurry to receive your merchandise. If you really have the need to order any type of clothing from here, do so at least 1 month in advance and perhaps if you are lucky you will get it on time.
I ordered something from them 3 years ago for my Silver Anniversary three weeks before I left on my vacation. It arrived while I was away. I returned it upon my return. I didn't need it anymore, obviously! Now three years later, my son was graduating and gave them a second chance. His graduation was May 4th. Ordered from them one week before and paid overnight shipping (don't waste your time). It is now May 16th, three weeks later, and I just received an email telling me my order was shipped. LOL!
I can't say if the clothing is good quality or not because I have never been able to actually touch or see a garment I have ordered.

I have been a long time customer of Venus. I cannot say that I do not like their clothes, but I can say that their practice of "choosing" who reviews their purchases is discriminatory.
I called several months ago after making a huge purchase and receiving the items. I wanted to review one of the items and was told that they send out e-mails requests for reviews a month or so after purchase. After several months I called again to say that I never got the e-mail and I was waiting to review my purchases. I was then told that they CHOOSE who reviews their items. The customers cannot review their items at will.
I understand wanting to allow only verified customers the right to review products, but to only allow those shoppers who they deem worthy shows serious bias on their part.
Do I not spend enough money there Venus? You know that stacking the odds of good reviews in your favor makes you look like deceitful liars right?
I do like their clothes (most of them) and many would get a good review, some would not, but all reviews by me would be honest; unlike Venus who practices separating their customers and allowing only a select few the full benefits of being a Venus shopper.

I placed an order from Canada with the free shipping promo on February 15,2015. On February 16th, 2015 I received an email that my order has been shipped. I emailed for an update on the status of my order the week of March 2nd. The shipping policy states your order will be received within 20 business days. I emailed again on March 25th and did not receive a response until one week later... so I called on March 30th and was told they are unable to track the package and the tracing dept would call me. It is now April 8th and I have not received my order (and I have been charged for it) and I have not received a call from the Tracing Dept of Venus. Email responses are supposed to be within 24 hours but they have taken up to a week to respond... what a joke... wish I had read these reviews before I placed my order...
