I had been a loyal T-Mobile customer for six years with two phone lines, but due to poor coverage in my area, I decided to switch to Verizon, which offered better service. Everything went smoothly for the first four months until I requested that Verizon switch the numbers between my Android and iPhone.
Unfortunately, after this change, both of my phones lost signal, and despite spending over 10 hours on the phone with Verizon over the course of 96 hours, the issue remained unresolved. It was frustrating because each time I called, I was transferred to different representatives, but there was no progress. They repeatedly promised a resolution within a day, but I only received rescheduled appointment messages.
I'm truly disappointed with Verizon's service and regret switching to them. I strongly advise against choosing this company.
In my opinion, crooked as the day is long. I will be looking for a new carrier! These people are even worse than AT&T! STAY AWAY! They have been taking my payments out of my checking account for the last 3 months. Just received a notice today my bill went up by approximately $15 from now on!
My internet stopped working at 6 am. I've been dealing with AI and get no help. I Finally get an operator 5 hours later wait on hold for 50 minutes. Then call back. They want access to my tablet, phone, PC? Really after 2.5 hours no help just get the run around. $#*! Verizon
Please do not get verizon, stores are third-party they're not connected with actual verizon, worst customer service you've ever experienced in your life. And above all the reception is really poor-unexplainable
I been using Verizon for years. I recently purchased an iPhone 13 pro max 128GB and traded in my android phone. This was done at Costco. The promotion included a $700 dollar trade in. It was a nightmare dealing with Verizon, trying to sign up, get a shipping label, and get the monthly charges straight. You wait forever on the website chat, and when you go through everything, they give you a toll free telephone number to call. When someone finally Answers, you get a lot of promises but no action. It was very frustrating. Two months after my purchase it's still not right.
Anytime you need to call customer service, whether it's something minor or not, you can bet on at least an hour of your day wasted. That is if you get disconnected less than 3 times. I have found that the agents are not very knowledgeable, and you get transferred multiple times, after explaining your situation to each new agent. I am happy I left after 14 years of trying. Many agents are outsourced in other countries that don't necessarily understand your demographics. I switched to t Mobile. I have faster speeds, half the price and they paid off all my devices. Kick rocks Verizon
My family bought 3 new phones from Verizon over a year ago. They have yet to apply the promotions and trade-ins to our bill. We've spent countless hours on the phone and in the store trying to figure it out. We were once long term and loyal customers but this has been such a scam and pain that we will never trust them again.
Absolutely horrible business. Do not trust them to honor their specials and deals!
Quit working after 2 months. They keep billing you after you sent the gateway back. Customer service is the worst. Tell them they have a problem with their internet and the only answer they give is how to cancel. When you do they keep charging you. Have called 3 times on final bill. Last time for 2 hours and still at square 1.
Undoubtedly the worst customer service experience in my life! It's virtually nonexistent, wasted around 8 hours trying to solve what should have been a simple issue, Now I'm looking for a new service provider. One that has someone answering a phone for support.
To write a review of Verizon's customer service and its "policies" would require me to take a day or two off of work. I am guessing that I've logged about 8-10 hours with them on the phone over the course of 2 months and I still can't get a very simple thing resolved, which is me being able to access my online account. All of these providers fail miserably at customer service but Verizon takes the cake. Use someone else if at all possible and if not, well, good luck.
You can do nothing but go around in circles on this terrible website. The ONLY thing it's good for is pushing new services. The format is terrible - incredible amount of wasted space, leading to multiple screens and lousy readability. And nothing you want (other than how to buy more Verizon crap) is easily findable; you're constantly forced into the search function. Which returns screens and screens of options, all spread out all over the galaxy visibly. OR you get the circle of death as the website spins forever, then bounces you out. Seven attempts today to do one simple task with 7 bounces out of the page, task unaccomplished. You can spend hours here and get absolutely nowhere. Verizon should be ashamed to even show this mess.
I had a credit of 153.80. My cell phone was turned off by verizon. I went on line to see what happened. My account showed an "adjustment". I started a "chat.
Sugar: will you give me the money back?
Steph: On chat we do not handle credit or refund. Please call *******830 to have them help you with that.
We trusted the rep at the Verizon store who told us we'd get $700 for trading in our old Google Pixels to upgrade. That was a lie. According to the fine print, what we are actually receiving is a $20 discount on our device payments every month for 3 years. If we pay off early, or upgrade early, the balance of the $700 trade in value will be forfeited.
Customer service is totally impotent, disconnected from customer accounts far enough that they cannot make this right. The only course of action is to file a dispute for arbitration. (By the way, when you do this, they respond, in essence, with "too bad so sad, should have read the fine print instead of listening to our reps.")
This is how it feels to be a dog on Verizon's leash
I switched over to Verizon. All my phones paid off. I had to pay $600 out and promised $1800 in rebates. Never got the rebates. I tried four times and then was shamed by them for not having hours out of my life with a career and kids to spend chasing money down past what I did. Customer service is out the window anymore. Corporations only care about the bottom line not the customer or their employees. People wonder why we have a staffing crisis now.
I'm well aware of all the tactics this company deploys to exploit their customers...until today when I learned a new technique they use...by shutting off your phone while having a conversation. Truly fascinating they spend more time in the board room discussing draconian methods to profit from, than just being a trustworthy, honest company. What a deplorable company...
Worse cellphone providers around, way to high in price, phones are junk, and the employees barely know anything about their service or products. You are told one price when you sign up and two days later it is three times the amount. Stay away from them
My main cable box went out, was on hold for over an hour. The direction was terrible. Went to the web site which was some help, but terrible. So close to 2 hours, by trial and error, plus google we were functional. We received a call from India and would get a technician to call us, never happened. The TV, internet, and phone are great, way better than Spectrum. But their customer service and technical support -10! NOTE: if you have to change your main box, remember to disconnect the client boxes.
I spend over a $1000/month with Verizon. For this they give me nothing but grief. Customer service is non existent. If there was another choice I would switch immediately. Simply put a horrible, horrible company.
Well first to say been 2 two weeks on service I cannot use cause they lied said phone compatible well it ain't and took my 117. Dollars and been lied to for everyday phone calls that was at least 3 hours long to say we sent refund then next one has no information on refund or my phones class action lawsuit im goin to file to be on just refunds they owe people was on phone with agent and chickens goin nuts in background hung up on me said to bad never ever go to verizon I will be telling everyone I know and social media to cancel it now
I'm spending my evenings with Verizon customer service Support Team for nothing. Talk to 10 agents all of them will give completely different answers. Their agents don't know what they doing. For the same issue I had to repeat myself over and over. They don't have a system where the following agent can pick from the info from the previous conversation. I was on the process to switch from T Mobile but i change my mind. I wish there is 0 star option
Answer: Go to My Verizon, click the 3 bars at lower right. In drop down menus hit contact us then schedule a call. They will call you about the time you scheduled a call-back.
Verizon has a rating of 1.2 stars from 1,041 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Verizon most frequently mention customer service, new phone and next day. Verizon ranks 93rd among Mobile Carriers sites.
