Year 1: I bought the document checking service. Did not receive this (no one communicated about it what so ever)
Year 2: Due to the rediculous lack of communication I decided to buy the optional add-on where they text you about the status of your application. I did not receive this, still did not know the outcome when the passport arrived.
Note: you can allegedly check the status of your application through the vfsglobal website. It requires a reference number which I had and a surname, which I also had. The form kept throwing very unhelpful errors. Just be prepared for absolutely no information from them until your passport it returned to you... even if you pay to stay informed.
After going round in circles on their website (which links you to a redundant. gov.uk page) I eventually eventually got through and paid extra for the document checking service however this was never mentioned and I'm pretty sure I never received it. They gave no warning or updates that the visa had been issued, the curior delivering the passport was the one to tell us the process had finished. Ridiculous.
Completely unorganized organization You always need to wait for hours after your appointment and they are really really bad when it comes to appointments. They never update their website and in multiple occasions, they asked me to pay 120 Ponds because their website always have error and you can not by any way reserve an appointment. They are experts when it comes to taking your money, even if you have all the papers they asked you for before the appointment. You will indeed be asked to print papers their as they will tell you haven't brought all the papers and charge you 2 pounds for each black and white paper. Try to avoid them and go to any other agency in your country as you will burn your nerves becuase of them.
Its not worth of anything. I can give negative 2 rating. When i started my Passport renewal, its not even progressing from page to page. Also there is no proper error message why it struck in the same page... After struggling 15days, sent Form. After completion of process in Embassy, vfs received documents. After 3 weeks documents from Embassy, vfs global portal says they are reviewing. I received an email asking for my dispatch address. Also its mentioned Passport is ready to dispatch. Afyer 4 days i called live agent asking when will i receive my renewed passport. He was said, we are still reviewing your document. After 4 weeks of document received, i still dont have info on will i receive my renewed passport..
Nearly impossible to get an appointment, they are fully booked many months ahead, costumer service is sending email templates, hard to speak to a real person and they are charging for the phone call. Webpage is dodgy and collapsing, Waiting list is not working, Total Disaster. I just had to cancel a journey I planned and payed for many months ago.
Worst visa processing services. No round the clock availability. Now a days even banks are available on call or chat round the clock and these guys are missing after 4Pm and 5PM. No prompt updates on visa processing. Information completely in disguise.
I am a USA student and I have been trying to get a student VISA through VFS for the UK. For my first application I show up to my biometrics appointment (federal building), the worker said they didn't have my appointment on file. Worker asked for my receipt, which I said 'what receipt?' because I was never mailed/emailed one. Worker said you need one or I would have to make a new appointment in the next two days. Tried to book again, but the VFS website wouldn't let me. I tried multiple times and looked in my junk for the receipt, nothing!
Started a new application because I need to get to school, and VFS isn't doing anything about the first one. Another $1300 down the drain, and now they won't let me make an appointment at my local federal building. Looked at the centers across America, all appointments are booked past the starting date at my UK university. Worst experience of my life with a service, still trying to contact them and hear back from customer service.
VSF global offered to get us Brazil visas and took our money. Then we discovered Brazil was not issuing visas and requested a refund. They replied that our application was "pending" and refused a refund. That was over 2 months ago!
I have submitted applications for reissued oci cards. They sand back and forth applications which delay process and creating unnecessary mailing expenses. After 5 months applications not processed and not refund given. I do not why Indian government giving contract to handle visas applications to VFS GOBAL company. Worst company.
The online appointment system is extremely user unfriendly. It forced you to create an account before making an appointment. However, there is no way to check your appointment status after logging in. Moreover, making appointment requires confirmation by OTP (one-time-password) sent to your email. However, the delay is quite significant. OTP only goes to my email after 5-10 minutes and they were already expired when I received them.
I dont understand why IRCC cooperate with this company.
Overall the user experience is ZERO starm the worst that I have ever experienced.
This organisation has an exclusive arrangement to provide biometrics data for the Australian Government, but is out of its depth, The only way of making booking is through a website which cant take bookings.
Strange you my think. But this is absolute fact. For two weeks i have been trying to make a booking.So have friends.
I dont know what the Australian government were thinking appointing a private foreign company to gather super private biometrics. Let alone one that doesn't have the capacity to do this.
How hard is it to take booking? All you need is a phone and a person to answer it?
So how do i get biometric data for a visa?
Do i have to go to the media and ask the same questions?

I paid for priority service which claims to get your passport and visa back to you in five days. The VFS has not only failed to return my passport to me in two weeks but the country I applied for a visa from has informed me that I was approved for my visa. So, VFS only needs to put my passport in a prepaid UPS envelope and drop it in a mail box. The VFS has failed to complete this action for a week. Further, I have reached out to VFS customer service multiple times and investigated other avenues to contact them and have heard nothing back. The VFS has shown to be incompetent and have terrible customer service.
I am trying to reupload the picture of my son and daughter. I have come to a point that it is just waste of time to deal with VFS. There was no information after the first round, I have to check the case status to see what the heck is problem with the applications.
I have uploaded the picture and my daughter had a yellow rubber band on her hair and it was rejected because of that. I am getting pissed offfff.
Confusing Instructions and very bad Refund policy. They should allow to update the Application number. They charge you for Courier service and VFS service fee even if you unfortunately have to cancel the application, it just doesnt make any sense. Why would you charge someone if the application is not even send to VFS?
Any time you browse this to book appointments, gives very hard time. 100+ time I got error while adding an Applicant. They should have hire experienced developers.
Extended delays and rude and incompetent staff in VFS Ireland Visa Application Center in Qatar.
No actions taken by the organization for any kind of improvement. Embassies still contract their services in spite of the flux of complaints.

After weeks of trying to get an appointment for an Italian tourist visa got one at Manchester. Over 200 miles away from home, was unable to get one for London.
Arrived one hour early, English is not my first language and my husband was not allowed in.
Was given a ticket and waited for 2 hours after my 10:15 am slot.
I tried to find out what the delay was and eventually my number was called. When I spoke to the women at the desk I was told there were no staff available and I'd need to go to London in 10 days time, I was handed a hand written piece of paper and asked to leave.
My husband went back in with me but was fobbed off by the reception staff who refused to give any information.
After paying almost £400 for travel, accommodation, VFS services and fee I have nothing to show for it except for a complete lack of the service I paid for and the common decency to explain why after travelling and waiting hours we are suddenly told there is no Italy visa staff. Strange as 10 people before me waiting for the same visa went in and left without issue.
I am left to the sad conclusion that me being Arabic was not to the staffs liking, their rude demeanour and dismissive tone followed by the failure to complete my paid for appointment smells strongly of racism or complete ineptitude.
Folks, if you pay 125 PLN for return VFS Courier Service delivery (VAC Warsaw), prepare for the worst nightmare with Tracking number and no coherent replies from VFS to your inquiries. VFS Employees do not care and it shows. 2 business days "standard email response time" advertised on their website turns into anywhere from 4 to 11 days. Language is a major issue. Employees are NOT fluent in English. It is either that or VFS employees are deliberately responding in such a way as to obfuscate the issue and trick the customer into a repy which would absolve them from any responsibility for the documents entrusted to their care. Its shocking that Immigration Canada keeps such a terrible company as their contractor. Be aware and good luck.

I am based in Sydney and the service was so bad it compells me to write a review to hopefully disuade others.
This has been the most ABYSMAL and horrendous service ever. At no point did VFS communicate anything with me. Not the innitial email i was supposed to receive explaining everything and notifying me of updates and that my passport was ready. And not once did they respond to the numerous requests for help and aid through every channel. It was only because i noticed that they failed to change my return method from pick up to delivery that I got my passport at all.
If i could i would give it 0 stars. Truly Aweful
