Vinylogy.ru

Pressing reissued vinyl records under the names DOL and Dolchess, vinylogy.ru are, in my opinion, producing poor quality records that are not from clearly stated sources. I've had to return many DOL records due to the extremely poor quality pressings. One record - Bill Evans Portrait in Jazz - was so bad that I couldn't believe my ears. Comparing it to a CD of the same title revealed that the DOL LP had almost no bass track. Other DOL records have been unacceptably noisy, with strong crackles and pops, as well as sweeping noise even after hi-tech ultrasonic cleaning. I now actively avoid buying anything with the DOL, Dolchess or vinylogy label.
