I bought two 6-packs of the Sentinel Spectrum. I paid a total of $144.00 at the vet. I was given the form and the receipt for the heart worm preventative. I mailed everything in and waited for two or three months. I received a gift card in the mail for $7.00, not $25.00. I was given no explanation for the discrepancy whatsoever. Why would anyone go to so much trouble for $7.00? I mailed the gift card back to Virbac and I will never buy another product from this company again. If my vet doesn't offer alternatives, I will change vets.
I ordered Sentinel Spectrum chewables be of this rebate they offer: Receive a $10 rebate on 6 doses
Or $25 on 12 doses. These are probable the most expensive Heartworm medication out there but because of the rebate I went on PetCareRx and ordered it. I then when on to Sentinel's website and completed 3 claim forms as I ordered for my 3 dogs-6 doses. The price for the medication is $80.98 each, so x3. Today I get 3 different emails from them. Here is what they said-this is from one of them: Your claim # ******* cannot be processed for the following reason(s):
This promotion is valid only for customers, clinics do not qualify for this promotion.
I called them and Theresa said since I bought it from PetCareRX that my purchase doesn't qualify. I said but they are not a clinic and neither am I, I am a customer. Theresa is denying my rebate. It really pisses me off when a company offers rebates then denies them. Apparently this is not a reputable company so I am warning you about buying any of their products based on any rebate or any other types of offers because they won't stand behind it. When I told Theresa I would not be buying any more of their products, she didn't care. Must be nice that this company makes that much money that they can afford to lose customers. Please share this so others don't get ripped off.
