I returned to LAX from London Heathrow, on Wednesday, 16th August 2023 on Virgin Atlantic. I thought the crew were fantastic. All friendly, courteous and efficient. I particularly thought the steward called Tom to go beyond and above. I watched the way he dealt with several demanding passengers. He handled them beautifully, always with a smile and so very kind.
I have flown on several airlines this year, but thought Tom was outstanding compared to any other airline crew. All the staff were great. Will definitely fly premium economy on Virgin again.
It used to be that with advance planning and flexibility one could get upper class seats with miles to go from San Francisco to London. That is no longer true. Over the next 9 month there are only a few seats available none of which have return flights within a reasonable time frame. For most months, there are no upper class seats available with miles at all. From New York, it is a different story. It appears that Virgin Atlantic no longer cares about San Francisco. Unless things change, Virgin Atlantic, no longer deserves the loyalty of San Francisco residents.
May ground attendant was up and above the service.when I came back in 10 days she was welcoming everyone she helped with my luggage.excellent.Virgin Atlantic airlines.
Flew to NY recently with Virgin and was pleasantly surprised. Very lovely staff, great meals and care. Their check in service was not the best but overall happy to recommend
The prices are way too high! I mean the plane is comfy, but it's way to expensive for this service and food you have to pay for is also way too expencive!
Glad that we chose them for our onward journey to UK. We would be certainly delighted again to be onboard
I THOUGHT I WAS BOOKING A VIRGIN FLIGHT.
I booked a ticket to the States in November 2017 Via Bravofly Thinking i was flying Virgin but operated by Delta. I was given a Virgin booking reference. I called Bravofly to upgrade to an exit or bulk head seat for extra leg room. I am aware there is a fee for this service. This is how i fly when using good ole Quantas. Bravofly said i could not upgrade as the flight gets released 3 months before departure date. That would make it April as i am flying at the end of July. Contacted in April and was told i have to do it myself. Contacted Virgin to find out it was Delta Airlines all the way, Virgin gave me Delta ticket booking info (Not Bravofly) I contacted Delta who released the flight in November when booking 3 months ago. I have since found out that i have purchased the MOST RESTRICTED ticket money can buy. I cant even upgrade until the day of departure. MISOLD and really bad service, A LEGAL CON if you ask me.
And Virgins creditability dragged through the mud.
I will be taking this matter further but they do have me by the short and curlies. I have tried booking another flight which is possible but getting and original connection time is not possible at present.
PLEASE BOOK DIRECT WITH AIRLINE... THIS AGENT IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS. Take note and enjoy your booking experience and your flights. GO DIRECT. I got suckered and im an oldie
With Virgin Atlantic, I have always got amazing experiences and along with good gestures from crew and ground staff, too.
