I went to visionworks in Taylors,SC, to see if they could repair my son's glasses which the puppy took outside and mangled. They were friendly and acknowledged my entrance; my glasses were given to the manager, Kevin, who examined them and said he would try his best to repair them. He worked on them with different tools for a long time and did a fantastic job! I was so pleased! And did not even charge me--amazing! This is The Best shop for glasses I have ever found or used. Great job, Kevin!

Last year the doctor made very inappropriate comments. My husband pushed me to go back. Doctor refused to give me the correct prescription told me women don't need to be able to read. I have argued with them to finally be told I am difficult. During the exam he wouldn't even do anything I could see properly through. So now have glasses & contacts I can't really see through. I was told he would not change my prescription.
Had new glasses made a month ago and accidentally broke the arm.brought it back and was told that they will charge to fix it.I was livid.when he suggested I should go to another repair shop and bcoz I needed it I was charged $45. Found out new prescription glasses at Walmart was $99 and this glasses got doesn't cannot be use on my computer.they are scamming you with your insurance..

I have tried to visit this store 3 times. Each time has been worst than the last. As I waited for the front desk to answer a question, the gentleman was on the phone rolling his eyes at the customer on the phone, and when he got off, he laid his head on the desk and went oh my God! The woman at the desk did not know anything about the coupons and proceeded to give me the wrong information. This last time that I tried to go to the to this office, the two ladies at the front desk acted like I was an inconvenience and by the way, I was the only one in the store at the time. And the gentleman behind them made some snotty comment about me. I find this behavior unacceptable. And if I could find the person that hired these individuals, I would question the interviewing process. I will no longer ever go to this Visionworks, and will let others know that this is not the office you want to go to in Fayetteville, New York.

I was warned by several co-workers to not deal with vision works, but I tried to give them a try for myself. The Visionworks Bowie Town Center, in Bowie Maryland has twice order the wrong prescription contacts and give me the wrong trail contacts. Today again I go into the Bowie location to pick up another trail contacts, which was the wrong prescription again. After I called several times to ask if this was the correct prescription this time, and I was told. I've been waiting two weeks for my contacts only to be told once again they have ordered the wrong prescription again. So now after paying for my contacts, I'm told that I have to wait another two weeks. I will never ever deal with another vision works.
The workers were quick and knowledgeable. Had back to back appointments for my kids and myself and everything went smoothly. Le'Ashia was very helpful with making sure my checkout went well and that I received my glasses add ons that I wanted.

I was just there today and had such amazing service! I was treated so kindly and they fixed my problem within minutes! I didn't even buy my glasses from there and they were willing to adjust them. Thanks so much for your fast and friendly service:-)
The number you call for customer service is the absolute worst! I've been calling some 10am and it is now 11:30am, and all I'm getting is a recording. I think I'll go to My Eye Dr next time. This is ridiculous.

Ordered glasses. Store ordered them. 2 weeks later I Had to call them to find out they didn't have that particular frame anymore only to discover they had ordered the wrong color. Wait. Another 2 weeks later, wrong lenses. Lied to at store saying they were the correct lenses. Got them checked somewhere else, they weren't correct. Called customer service. Got a regional Manager involved. Nice young lady calls from a city with the same name city but 3000 miles away... a week later another regional manager gets involved. "Going to get this taken care of immediately!" Another 2 weeks later the regional manager calls, "They don't make those frames anymore. " Ok, I am canceling the order. I want my money back and VSP charges reversed! 9 weeks now. Nothing. Still no refund. Charges to VSP reversed? Nope. Never again.
Hi. This company unilaterally cancelled our three eye appointments for our family. This company then forgot to tell us of their action and worse yet, they sent a text to each family member reminding us of the appointments. We of course showed up to find out that the appointments were cancelled. The manager's excuse, rather than an apology, was to claim that "all appointments" were cancelled due to COVD (even though ours was in September and they were seeing patients) and that it was our fault that we should have called to reconfirm the appointment---even though they sent each family member a reminder text. This company is so bad, as we were in their store the apparent manager while telling us that "we should have called to reconfirm" ---had the balls to tell us that she

Do these people a favor and put them out of their misery---don't do business with them.
If you want to be treated like dirt, go on in. Our first impression was foul looks like we were the uninvited guest at the party. We never felt comfortable. A young man assisted us and found a great frame and completed our order quickly and courteously. Our order was available on the 18th.
As far as pickup, when we called speaking with a person was not an option. We followed the recorded message and checked online that the order was in. We went in to pickup his glasses. Again, we got the evil eye when we came into the store. " did we call you?... we dont have them... the intefnet just tells you that they left Texas... there are about 60 pair that havent been processed yet. " begrudgingly she went to look and came out moments later with his order.
What happened to COMMON courtesy? And customer service? And simple civility? We did not find it at our visionworks.

I am having a horrible experience with Visionworks store # 1232 East Setauket NY.
My 2 pairs of glasses are beyond the due date with no current information on where they are or when they'll be delivered. There is no phone # for the store to even ask, so I called the 800# and the person couldn't give me an answer. I payed over $800 for 2 pairs and 2 weeks plus, I sit here with no new glasses.
I am furious.

We Went of Visionworks to get my daughters glasses. Diana Lopez went up and beyond to help us choose glasses for my daughter. My daughter is hyper and she was calm and helpful. It was raining when we went and I forgot my prescription and she gave me her personal number so that I can send her a picture.
Had eye exam. The guy tells me that I have something wrong with my left eye buy these expensive vitamins. Glasses weren't right went to LensCrafters got exam told me nothing wrong with left eye I have existing scratch in right eye same as 2 years ago. Returned Visionworks glasses paid out of pocket for LensCrafters and they got it right. Visionworks bad. I trust LensCrafters.

They were nice people but when I came in for my glasses they didn't do the standard with the paper with large and going down to small typing. They told me to just look around the store. WHAT!

Wish I could give it a zero. I ordered glasses with transition lenses after my eye exam. 1 week later picked them up and they did not have the transitions coating, would not darken in sunlight. I told the girl at the front desk that I ordered transitions lens and she insisted I did not. I told her the girl who actually took my order wrote transitions on my order and showed it to me. It was clearly written on the ticket. She asked if I had the receipt, I did and looked at it only to see that the 1st girl had given me a printed receipt with the total price only, no itemized details of my order. So the 2nd girl told me if I wanted transitions I would have to pay an additional $90. They are dishonest, shady and crooked. Still waiting to see if corporate will return my call. Either way I will never go back.
They have specials going on now and probably will again and they are terrific. The manager of Boynton Beach location, Robert, was phenomenal. He knew his product, he knew his business, he knew his customers. Would go back anytime and every time.
My appointment was made last year right after my visit. I received a text message to confirm my appointment two weeks before the appointment date. And I replied 'Y' to confirm. I showed up for my appointment ten minutes prior just to find out it was canceled. No apology, no explanation, and no reschedule. They offered to squeeze me into the full booked schedule, but no guarantee the wait time. Had to leave since I could not wait around.
I have been a customer of visionworks for many years. I drove 30 miles to visionworks in Winston salem nc. When I arrived I was told at the door I needed an appt. I drove across the highway to lenscrafters at hanes mall and walked right in. Total bill was $550. Not much but visionworks lost me as a customer.
Trying to get someone to from the store to find out if contacts arrived and the phone system sends me to customer service center. The on-line is not helpful either. I need to talk to someone in the store but still sends me to customer service center. The worst, I've been waiting for about 3 weeks for contacts
I walked in there with a broken pair of glasses hoping to buy a new frame from there.
They pointed out that there was no need and they fixed my frame free of charge. Worth mentioning is that I did not buy my frame from them. I am just a tourist from canada!

I rarely ever right reviews, but this is a doozy. I get my eye exam and order glasses. A week later I get an email that they are ready for pickup and to go online and make an appointment. I go on-line and the only type of appointment you can make is for a new eye exam. I call that office number and a recording says to hold while they find an associate. It immediately hangs up. I call the 800 number and put on hold for ever. I try one of the automated chats at there website which tells me someone will call to discuss this problem. Guess what, no call. Finally I send an email to the head office and still no response. Funny, they had no problem charging me the $400+ dollars while I was there.

Was calling (Eden Prairie MN spoke to a Jessica) to let them know I was going to be 8 minutes late and was told not to bother because if i was late 10 minutes I would be re-scheduled. Was very snippet and rude on her delivery and was condescending. This is not the first issue I have had over the years, just done with this company, I will find someone that wants my business. I feel this company will not last long as their reputation and history is awful.

After having a very bad experience with the Towson Town Mall location, I took my business to the White Marsh location and had a wonderful experience! Glen greeted me right away and took care of me from start to finish. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable to work with. I highly recommend you going to the White Marsh location. You won't regret it!
I ordered two pair of glasses on 1/11/2023... the sunglasses ( single prescription) came in on "promise date" on receipt of 1/25.
The progressive lens have never arrived I called and they tell me they will not be in until 2/22.
40 DAYS TO MAKE A PAIR OF GLASSES! I can't see to drive... this is not acceptable service.
They could not offer me a reason or any other options.

Tried an eye appt. Today in Millbury. Dr. Didn't even thoroughly examine my eyesight with different lens options. Usually a doctor would ask if one view is better than a second and keep going until the letters you're reading are crystal clear. He did none of that. Just asked me if I could read the letters - that was it. No choice comparisons. I specifically told him I wasn't seeing great with my current glasses, so he should have understood my eyesight changed. My son got glasses there and the lenses just kept falling out and their solution was to keep coming back to have them put back in. Cheap glasses but huge cost. I can buy glasses full price elsewhere for the same cost as their "deals".
Its February 2nd and I STILL do not have glasses! My appointment was in December! My glasses were ordered in December! The 2 weeks came and went, I never heard anything, so I called after 3 weeks. I was told the lab LOST my glasses! So they told me I probably had to pick new frames, no, wait, they found them in Rochester. Now they send them to the lab with a rush on them and Monday will be the two weeks again, the online progress still shows "making", so I'm assuming I will not have them again in two weeks. Ridiculous! Never going here again, and I will inform others. I have been a customer here for along time, but not sure what has happened! Rochester, MN store.
