I have been purchasing supplements and nutritional items from this company for the past 10 months and have had great experiences. After reading these other reviews I can't help but think that they must be referring to some other company. I have referred others to the site for the best prices and delivery time. Order placed Saturday 6/8 received Monday 6/10.

Waited 2 weeks for my order and it still said "in process". I called and was rushed off the phone after they said they didn't know what happened to it. They said they'd call back. But no. Called again to cancel the order and when I asked to receive a confirmation of the cancellation and refund, the guy hung up on me. Never again. I'll probably have to go through the credit card company to challenge the charge. What a hassle.

I have been a long term customer of this business with no problem. The first time I had a problem was when they sent me the wrong product. I emailed and got no answer. I called and the owner kept talking over me and interrupting. I said he needed to be more customer service oriented. HE HUNG UP ON ME. I called back and started explaining the discrepancy which also involves his website and he said ' I DON'T HAVE TO HEAR ALL THIS, JUST GET TO THE PROBLEM". The problem, sir, is you don't appreciate your customers.

I purchased 2 bottles of enzymes for my migraines. Picture and company shown on webpage. Received different bottles different company. Asked for a refund. Was told original company was bought out by new bottle shown (both been around a while) I was not comfortable so asked for full refund. I was refused with a very frustrated angry customer service person who before hanging up on me told me to just send an email which he was the one answering and told me NO again! It doesn't even matter why I want a refund, if a customer asks it should be given. I received products I didn't order and faithfully paid for them with $10 extra for shipping. The enzymes I were sent were less expensive than the ones I ordered too everywhere else so even if this information is correct, I could have saved ordering through another company, maybe who cares. This one clearly DOESN'T. This csr needs to find new work! He is clearly burnt out and frustrated and angry! NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THEM! But I don't think they care. Customers are their last concern. ( black label picture is of what was sent) (The original I ordered was from enzymatic therapy with a blue label) You can clearly see on the receipt it says Enzymatic Therapy brand.

RUN RUN RUN from this company. They are bad news!!

I did not use the product sent as it was not the product purchased. I use these for health reasons for migraines and am not willing to experiment on my health. The customer service rep and I use the term loosely, was rude and refused to do anything.

Products shipped had a strong musty, moldy smell. The owner told me (he doesn't know how that is possible). Did not care to help resolve the problem which I wanted a replacement or refund because the smell being that bad I was not eating the boxed cereal, nor did I feel comfortable using the protein shake because it smelled on the plastic container. He was adamant I was not allowed to send back anything opened and was fixed on stating that 3-4 times during our conversation (that seemed to be all he was concerned with). So after talking to him and questions about returning the items I 'm out shipping and he will credit my card, I have read complaints on others now that I had this happen and I feel my card may not get the credit so I wont send back items. But do not use this company. My order was for 178.00 you would think that he would want to get to the bottom of this issue to keep customers to stay in business. Not so he would rather hang up on you and I was just trying to get return address and protocol taken care of. WOW way to go Vitaglo

Think twice before using this company, terrible customer service owner hung up on me.

I received my order and it was not the product that matched the description on the website... my order was over $100 worth of product that did not match the description and i called immediately and the man was rude, he did not even stop to listen to the issue that the product description was misleading and that it is important because i have health issues and allergies SO ingredients are a serious and big issue... he HUNG UP on me! I WILL UPDATE and hopefully have positive feedback when they resolve this issue... i just want them to send a prepaid shipping label to send their misrepresented product BACK to THEM and get my $125 back!

The prices doesnt match the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE when they sent me a PARTIAL ORDER and wanted to keep the whole money? It's not worth your time and even that is WHY he's got one of the worst reviews on the Internet.

Called to check on order that was placed 14 days ago and guy that answered phone said it was cancelled and hung up on me. When I called right back to get info about the credit card charge for order lady hung up on me. VERY BAD COMPANY! STAY AWAY!

I have been ordering from them for YEARS and I have referred so many people here in Colorado to his 'business' to spite the unbearable rudeness from the owner every time I have called.

Of course that stops now! I have sent him the receipt showing when I placed the order 5/27 and when it was promised to be delivered.

IT still isn't here. 6/22

He Has lied to me every time I have called and also in the 2nd email (I still have) saying it was priority mailed out weeks ago.
That didn't happen, but of course he has never one time apologized for this.

I understand mistakes but this is beyond a mistake especially when he promised to call me back last week. Never happened, and told me a phone call was 'too much pressure' to deal with!

He promised to email me a confirmation 3 times now and nothing still of the new order placed last week.

Another lie.

Now almost a month after placing the original order he hangs up on me and tells me to not call anymore?! Are you serious?
Really?

So I can't email or call now about my order!
How sad and pathetic!

This was a small but needed order!

BAIT & SWITCH SCAM -- ARBITRARILY CANCELS HEAVY ORDERS --- Here's my transcript to BBB. If the seller hadnt been so MEAN, i would've simply ended years of shopping there.
"Seller confirmed 4 transactions online on 9/16/2012, yet fulfilled only 1. Seller emailed buyer stating one of the three unfulfilled orders had been cancelled; but failed to alert buyer to cancellation of the other two. Buyer contacted seller by phone. Seller stated,"THAT'S STUPID" after buyer explained all 4 orders were placed separately to expedite shipping per the online terms. Buyer stated, "i cant make a profit on shipping heavy items." Buyer asked seller 3 times why such items were offered on the website with free shipping. Seller increased speaking volume and stated twice, " ARE YOU FIGHTING WITH ME?" after my 2 queries, then hung up on buyer after the third query.

I called to check on the status of an order. The person that I spoke with was very so short with me, cut off my conversation with him & hung up on me. I called back to complain, his wife answered, which I wasn't aware at the time that it was wife, wanted them to know that he was rude, when I told her that, she hung up on me also. I then called back, was verbally abused by the first person that I spoke with & got hung up on again. Reporting this company to the BBB OF NEW YORK! What TERRIBLE business!

Ordered supplements from this vendor. I waited for shipping confirmation for 2 weeks. I called the seller, some rude guy answered and said he will ship the same day. The order was only shipped 4 days later (per USPS). When it arrived only half of the order was there. The product that was sent was either poorly stored or contaminated. I contacted the seller requesting return label. He responded that it’s not his problem, and I should go directly to the manufacturer. He did not refund the money either. THIS SELLER IS A SCAM, SELLING EXPIRED AND DAMAGED MERCHENDISE. WILL NOT REFUND, NOR TAKE THE PRODUCT BACK. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BRAINDEAD AND DOWNRIGHT POOR. Buy at your own risk, and read other reviews before purchasing.

I used to buy powdered soy milk here, they had the best price, and delivery was reasonable. One time one can broke and spilled some powder. I did not return it, but next time i put a note on the order and they put extra cushion on the bottom, so it arrived well.
Last time i placed and order, i did not receive it. They did not respond to my emails, and when i call the guy will always tell me that they will be shipping it "next week". After a month of this "shipping next week", i email them to cancel the order. A week latter i contacted my credit card and got my money back. Make SURE that you contact your credit card company within 30 days of your statement date, so they can reverse the transaction. My credit union is very good at this. They credit your account while they investigate the item. They don't make you wait for your money.

The guy i called - three times - was never rude to me, thank God!, he just sounded very stressed up. I suspect this is a one man operation and the company grew too fast and they do not have the business knowledge to keep up with growth.
Too bad... it was a good place to buy.

I ordered several products made by a company that is no longer in business. They were hard to find and when I did find them, the sellers were asking about four times the price Vitaglo was selling them for. The inventory was not as up-to-date as it could have been but it looks like they updated their inventory after my order. To me, this means they realized there was a problem and took action to make an improvement. There was no communication with the company but they documented my invoice very well. They noted how many products of each item they had in stock to ship me. They noted each item that was sold out. They noted I was only charged for the items they shipped. I verified this. It looks as if they double checked the contents before they shipped the package. They provided an itemized list of the charges. I placed my order on a Monday. On Wednesday, I received a notification from UPS that the label was created and the 28 pound package had been shipped. I received my order on Friday. All 21 plastic bottles of liquids had tape on the lids and were in plastic bags. Packing material included peanuts and bubble wrap. All items were in perfect condition upon arrival. While this wasn't a perfect e-commerce experience because of the inventory discrepancies, I was extremely happy to obtain these hard to find products at a great price.

I was shocked to see these low rating reviews. I order products and received shipping within 24 hours and my products within a few days afterwards. I have no idea why so many have complained.

I've drank this tea before and I thought it was the same because it was marshmallow root but it tasted awful. Unfortunately, if you don't like it, your stuck with it.

On Christmas, I placed an order for LIVING FLOWER ESSENCES HEALING SALVE. I'd purchased this item a few years ago. It's great for muscle pain. I recently found the old container and googled to find a store that carried this item now. On, 1-11, after I hadn't received my order, I emailed Customer Service to see what had happened to my order. I received an email from Mike stating that my order had been canceled because he couldn't get the products. When in the HELL was VitaGlo going to let me know the order had been canceled? Customer Service AT ITS WORST! If possible, I would have rated this Company ZERO stars.

ZERO STARS! I ordered 3 Vega Premium Protein Powder 4 lbs. I received 7 of the smaller containers. The weight does come out to a little over the 12 lbs. that I ordered. However, I got 2 of the Chocolate, 2 of the Mocha, and 3 of the Vanilla. That means that I did not get to choose the flavor of the 3rd container. Now I have 7 containers to store instead of 3 which I ordered. I called VitaGlo (a division of Discount Natural Foods) customer service and someone answered that was short with me, sounded stressed and annoyed that I called. While I was trying to figure out the math to what he was explaining to me, he was frustrated and impatient. I finally told him that he was not being very nice to me. He replied "Don't call me names!" I did not call him a name but I was thinking it. He was rude, impatient, and annoyed with my call. I asked for his name and he refused to give it to me. Worst customer service representative ever! I wish I had read the hundreds of negative reviews about this business before I purchased from them. Hopefully, this will save someone else from purchasing from this company.

I should have read the reviews before purchasing from this company. I placed my order on Oct. 28th and received it on Nov. 12th. I ordered 7 bottles of vitamins and only received 3. After talking to MIKE he said that they didn't have but three and I should receive a refund in a couple days. I should have received a refund the same day they knew they didn't have my complete order. I have now filed a claim with PayPal and I am still waiting on a refund.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!

I will never purchase from this company again. The one man show owner Mike is rude and aggressive. I have had to make a fraud claim with Pal Pal and my bank to get my money back. I will never purchase from this place again.
I had to call back 5 times to request a refund as this man Mike kept hanging up on me. I did record him and will be using this recording against him in my fraud claim with my bank. I would never trust this man again. Use another company that is reputable. This man is awful and is trying to keep my money.
I contacted him on 4/2/18 at 9:49 am to inquire about my order. He was rude and screaming at me, when I did not raise my voice to him at all. He kept saying, "stop yelling at me" when he was the only one yelling. He told me I will call you back and hung up. I had to call him back an hour later, at 10:41 am. He said "I will send the invoice to you and ship your items today" then hung up. He was still extremely rude on the second phone call.
My husband called today, and the man was rude and hung up on him. My husband called to tell me he was a really big jerk and that the guy said he would not refund our money or allow us to return the items we purchased from him. I would not trust this man not to tamper with our food and vitamins and make us ill, so all I wanted was our money back. As I stated I had to call him 5 times and tell him he was being recorded, each time to tell him I wanted a refund. I am not in the process of asking for that through Paypal and my bank and this man is a crook!
My advice NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY***RUN!

And to help some of you out that were asking if Vita-Glo was a real business, I'd like to share the brick-and-mortar address for where your missing shipments/order cancellations/etc are from.

Mike is the owner, and the "customer service" of the operation. So yes folks, the nasty pants on the phone is the brain behind the whole site/shop.
Long ago, when he owned a natural grocery store, I realized his store had the best price for a carton of American Spirit cigarettes. When I opened the carton at home I noticed that all of the tax stamps were taped on not printed. Guess they musta-fell-off-a-truck.
He's king of the upsell, so I'm not surprised he slipped in expired products at the full price.
I myself thought of ordering from Vita-Glo, just so I would not have to walk into the Vitamin Warehouse and see that weasels face, nor be faced with toxic abuse from a rather greedy little man (what, is my money not green enough?!) and in the end as much as I would like to support a local business in my city, this one I cannot!

Steer clear of Vita-Glo.

What they showed in the photo on the website is not what I got sent to me,
It was not the same item at all.
After I got the bad item I then I tried to get a refund... but... they would not respond back to me
So I was made to file a claim with PAYPAL to get my money back
But I was still ROBBED off $35 becuase I was made to use my own money to return the
"bait & switch"
Crappy item back to them...
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE... THEY WILL ROB YOU!
They owe me now $35
They have robbed me of $35!
This place is a scam!

I ordered several items from VitaGlo in February 2017. It took them more than 2 weeks to ship my items. When I received the package one item was back-ordered; two of the items were not the brand that I ordered; the other three items were dated with a manufacture date of 06/2014.

When I received the back-ordered item it was not the item that I ordered. I ordered Cell Power and they sent me Cell Food; Cell Power costs more than Cell Food. I was cheated.
BEWARE: DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!

I ORDERED 2 ITEMS AND RECEIVED THE WRONG ITEMS AND SMALLER BOTTLES. WHEN I CALLED TO EXPLAIN, THE OWNER HUNG UP ON ME. THEN I CALLED BACK AND HE TOLD ME TO EMAIL HIM. Placed an order with the company and called a week later to track. Owner said they were not in stock and I could just cancel the order. So I did. A week later I receive the order and the owner says i could return them but I had to pay shipping then when I said I shouldnt be responsible for the order he hangs up on me. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

"This company is so terrible it made me laugh.
Yahoo asked me to rate this seller. So I did.
I mentioned that the site is very much not user friendly, I didn't receive a confirmation email at all and I wasn't able to log back into my account on their site. So I call the number at the top. The first time I was hung up on, but I figured it was mistake (you know, give him the benefit of the doubt) So I called back and asked how I can log into my account and where my purchase was (it has been over 2 weeks after all) So he looked me up and said my order was cancelled because I gave him a bad review! Keep in mind this was minutes after the review was submitted.
I couldn't believe it!
So I told him to have a good day and I'll take my business elsewhere.
After I purchased what I needed at a more reliable website, I received mu order from Vitaglo (the cancelled order) and my order from Vitacost... on the same day! So now I have double the products and on top of that I ordered a food product that expired over month BEFORE I placed my order!
Pretty ridiculous if you ask me!

If I could give such a rating, this business would receive a -5 stars! I placed an online order for Bioray NDF, 4 oz bottle, on 5/20/20, and received order confirmation immediately. After not receiving my order after 11 days, I called, and Mike, the owner, told me that it had to be special ordered because it's a size they don't normally carry and said it should be in the beginning of the next week. On 6/11/20, I called again because I hadn't received my order, and I asked for a full refund to credit card, which Mike promised he would do. It never happened. I called again on 6/30/20, and he stated their shipment came in and he'd get it out right away. It's 7/10/20, and I've not seen my product, for which my credit card was billed $174.85 on the date of the order instead of at the time of shipment, nor has my credit card seen the promised refund. I made the mistake of not looking at reviews before placing my order so it's a hard lesson learned. It appears that Mike makes his profit from online orders which are never filled and never refunded. He wouldn't likely get away with such fraud by treating his store customers that way so those are the people that give him great reviews. I'll not order from VitaGlo again! I hope some day he'll become a man of integrity, truly desiring to help the people who purchase from him instead of loving the money he steals from them. ~Sheryl V.
