I have been ordering dietary supplements from the Vitamin Shoppe for awhile now. One can use their website to order or just walk in to a store near you. Personally, everything I order is either shipped to me in a timely fashion or is available for pickup at the nearest store. Four stars because the website definitely could use a face lift as navigating through it maybe tricky.
The website fails to provide a preview order before submitting with Google pay. Instead it took the cached date of an old address even though support mentioned they see the updated address in my profile. I reached out to their support immediately after seeing the error to cancel since they gave no option to update the address before shipment. They informed they would try to cancel. They shipped it anyway to another state. Support said I can ship it back and I asked how am I going to do this when it is hundreds of miles away. They disregard standard fail-safe features on their website, options to update an address, and an avenue to cancel before shipment. Poor service all around! They charged me $164 that I will never get back and shipped anyway. Be careful when order online with this company.

They are sending items to my old address, after I updated to my new address. Customer support said they may not be able to cancel all of the order. That's weird. So they are going to still charge me for items I can't receive? Yep. That's exactly what's happening. So now I have to contact my bank's fraud department to get my money back. How does Vitamin Shoppe think that their handling of that mistake is ok?
I ordered several cases of energy drinks and was disgusted at how they were delivered. All of the boxes were ripped open, dented cans everywhere, the outer boxes weren't even taped shut. When sending a complaint and pictures the response was equally as disgusting. They offered a coupon for another order. They are too complacent with their customer ls receiving unacceptable packages and really expect you to want to order again? NEVER! Don't waste your time or money and order from a company who cares what they represent.

I ran out of a Solgar product. It took too long to wait for online so I went to local Vitamin Shoppe. Product was out of stock but was sent in two days. The bottle was huge. I discovered it was reformulated with same number of pills. Cost is double what you pay at Amazon. It goes back. What is the point except to encounter another hard sale.

Do yourself a favor and order your supplements/vitamins directly from the manufacturer or from Amazon. The Vitamin Shoppe operates on a 55% markup. They bring any and every supplement into their stores, good or bad. They don't care about health & wellness, just profit! If you are a person of color do NOT support The Vitamin Shoppe! Their CEO is extremely racist.

Very, very poor customer service at VitaminShoppe.com. Out-of-stock items listed as Ships within 24 hours, multiple unanswered emails though their own Feedback Forum, discourteous agents operating Live Chat Overall, incredibly poor communication and a dreadful shopping experience.
Avoid the lure of the occasional coupon and avoid VitaminShoppe.com. It is not worth the trouble.
I would recommend GNC or of course Amazon for nutritional supplement purchases.
Terrible service they dont tell you your productis coming from the new Jersey warehouse. I could've went to the store in my city to get it, instead of waiting 3 days. I never would've ordered online if i knew this would be the case
The staff in the stores are helpful and the site is very easy to navigate. They had one of the best prices around on Liquid Vit 5000. IU and to make things even better if you bought one bottle the price for the 2nd was 50% lower. I could not buy one bottle elsewhere for 9.99 but I got two bottles for less than 15 bucks; that's unreal
I first entered the store and was greeted to turn out later as a snotty, rude girl employee. I asked her some questions, which were returned with short, brief answers. I had done some research on this product, and she was not even correct with a answer to my questions. I suggest you hire employees who are knowledable about your products and that are more friendlier. I wont be back again to this Geneva store ever again.
I recently applied for a job at Vitamin Shoppe (an unnecessary "e", it's just Shop). Speaking of making things complicated, I think the reason I was not considered for the position was because of racial differences. I had all the skills and experience that they asked for, the interview went really great, and I'm jutting surprised why I didn't make it. I waited patiently and calmly but this is just not fair. I'm not saying because I got rejected and I'm hurt, it's actually because I believe it was a perfect match and they wanted to not hire me beacuse of my skin color or my Ethnicity. SLEAZY VITAMIN SHOPPE you have to put a debit or credit card in before you can use a gift card. I ordered in store then was told they didn't have it in stock. Order was cancelled and they still tried to bill me. Cheated me on points spent 169.00 said I only had 124 points. Called 4 times already and still need to call back because problems still not resolved. Most horrible place I have ever dealt with. Looks like I will be shopping at GNC thanks to the vitamin shoppes poor service and incompetence. Not that cheap to have such poor service. Products are not that high quality either. Wont be a vitamin shoppe customer ever again was a horrible experience to say the least.
Bohemia Long Island New York store refused to ring me up. I asked for help and David's co worker yelled at me that she was to busy to help me. I asked David what her name was( they wear name tags) as a result he did not answer me and the refused to ring up my order. I was not allowed to buy anything. I had spent 1,200 over the past month. I asked David why would you refuse the company money and he said he does not care. I have a witness to this. The store in west palm beach on Okeechobee rd is the worst store I have ever visited. The management there is just horrible, rude and uneducated. Never get a hi when walk in the store, they always turning away from you, never even acknowledge you in the store, never helpful. One day they require masks to wear the next day they don't, they will argue with you too. I worked as an asset manager at vitamin shoppe before and I know companies values and the customer is the first priority. Well, not in this store. Please revisit that store because it's just so bad.

I have purchased their product for years, usually I just drop in and pick up an item when I need. I bought 4 items, paid and was going to my car. I asked the clerk if I could get my items put in a bag. His response was "yes I can bag for you but it but it will cost you 50 cents. What! You have to buy a bag now? That is crazy! I will be buying my items from Amazon from now on— it's cheaper and The beauty of it is free shipping to my door.

The website indicated the product was "in stock". I placed the order. Several days later I received an email saying it was back ordered. I called customer service and was told the order was now processing and would ship the next day. Then I received another email saying it was back ordered again. I called customer service and cancelled the order for 2 reasons.
1. The information provided on the website was incorrect.
2. The information provided to me via phone by a customer service representative was incorrect.
I have too many options to deal with a company that repeatedly provided bogus information.
I have been a customer of vitaminshoppe for over 10 years and I was so hoping I didn't have to write this. The customer service keeps getting worse and worse. And, the prices keep going up.
I placed my order long before 6pm and it was NOT shipped the same day. It took them a week to reply to my inquiry. Now, it's been a week and I still haven't received the order. I may be saying goodbye to VS.
I hate to keep asking the prices of everything. Not a well maintained store. Things are way up top or in sealed boxes on the floor. Associates drinking and eating meals at the front desk.
Went to the Bangor, Maine store today. Made the mistake of commenting on the lack of a plastic barrier. WRONG comment! I believe the person waiting on me was the ACTUAL STORE MANAGER! They sold me bottle of Aloe Vera Gel (Aloe Vera Gel 99% Pure - Topical Oil to Soothe & Moisturize, Item #: VS-3854/*******) that smelled unbearably bad, like decades-old unwashed gym socks, truly sickening and they refuse to refund the product to due their Covid policies. I tried to put up an honest one-star review (would like to give zero stars but can't) of the product and they refuse to post it, it gets taken down almost immediately after posting it and this happened twice. I also posted question on the product page as to why they won't allow an honest one star review to be posted and they wouldn't post that either. All this smacks of being very unethical, of trying to boost an already low ranked product (VitaminShope brand ~ their OWN brand) and misleading the public about a likely rancid or defective product that they refuse to return. I will never shop here again!

Worst customer service I have EVER received. I cancelled my account 3 months ago by speaking with a representative on the phone. On the 3rd, $30 was taken out of my account with no email no order number, nothing. I called and was told I would get it refunded that day by a SUPERVISOR. I was lied to and after calling 3 more times, and every time they said it was already refunded. Turns out it wasn't, and they will not pay back the charge for overdrafting my bank account. DO NOT SHOP HERE OR GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD. SCAM
These guys took out $900 from my account in a SINGLE day. Never bought from these guys (never even heard of them) and I have no idea how they got my card number!

I had a horrible experience at your Vitamin Shoppe Store #0774 in Delray Beach, FL on 10/13/2015. This Vitamin Shoppe is near my business, so I stopped in one day after lunch. I generally shop at the Vitamin Shoppe closest to my home. When I walked in I was totally ignored by the employee at the register, "Michael" - Associate #*******. I walked around the entire store looking for the item I came in to buy, all the while being ignored by Michael. Michael was behind the register doing, 'whatever'. There were no other customers in the store. I could not find the item. Michael never asked what I was looking for or if he could help me. In disbelief that he didn't asked me if I needed assistance by now, I approached Michael and asked him where the item was. He muttered "over there". He still did not look at me or acknowledge my presence besides his curt response. He seemed annoyed and bothered that he actually had a customer that needed his assistance. His head was down the whole time. I asked him, "where?". He finally motioned (with his head) to the side of the register. I picked up the items, paid and left. Michael is a classic example of the worst customer service has to offer. He was rude, unprofessional and a disgrace to the Vitamin Shoppe name. I refuse to patronize an establishment that shows little respect to me as a consumer. You must know that there are many other places one can shop in South Florida for vitamins, and as a result of this experience with your Vitamin Shoppe, I will be taking my business elsewhere and will encourage everyone else on social media to do the same. By the way, I am (was) a Healthy Awards member, but not any more. I will NOT be shopping again at Vitamin Shoppe.
