Any website in this day and age that simply refuse to give refunds screams greedy to me. No where during the purchase phase do they tell you they wont refund, and it wasnt until I had to hunt down their ts&cs that I found it. I bought a jumper that was a completely different colour and quality to that pictured, and was told that they would not refund my money and instead I could have a store credit. I will never be shopping on VG again - terrible quality and even worse customer service.

Can Count On VG

I have made countless orders with Verge girl and have always been highly satisfied with their products. However if something doesn't work out, I have confidence that my return will be processed swiftly. (not to mention they have free returns). I have had only good customer service experiences. I rely on Verge girl to the hottest new items.

I ordered this dress on sale 4 months ago for the summer and after 2 months of waiting I asked for refunds but Verge told me to wait. Two months later the parcel arrived... with more money to pay! They don't tell you that customs duties are not included, so I had to pay more than half of the price of the dress in taxes. NEVER BUY on Verge Girl if you are not Australian, even if items are on sale! Trust me. Worst purchase EVER. I have never experienced this before even if I often order foreign items.

We are very sorry to hear this. We are really sorry, however unfortunately we have no control over import duties and taxes as these fees are decided by your country and are not decided by us. These fees are different to the shipping costs and are decided by your country when your order arrives into customs and are based on the value of the goods. The best thing to do is to check with your country's customs as they will be able to let you know how these fees are decided.

We do state on our website that payable import duties are the responsibility of the customer. This is stated on our Shipping and Delivery page on the website, which you can view here: https://www.vergegirl.com/pages/shipping-delivery.

We are also very sorry about the current delays due to COVID-19. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 there are significant delays on parcels shipped internationally with standard post. The postal services have advised that there are delivery delays due to reduction in air freight capacity and passenger flights (which also carry parcels), a significant increase in parcels volumes, many which require manual sorting, hygiene and social distancing requirements (such as social distancing through zoning, dedicated shift start times to reduce cross over of workers). We have had this information on our website for the duration of the delays.

I am a very loyal customer to verge girl. The quality of the clothing is beautiful, and if I don't like something I receive, it's no hassle to them for me to send it back (prepaid shipping too WOO!) and swap it for something else! I've never been dissatisfied with my service!

Good customer service

This was my first time shopping with verge girl, unfortunately, the skirt I ordered was faulty however verge girl quickly responded and gave me instructions on how to send it back. The whole process was timely and convenient - I have no complaints. I ended up getting a different skirt because the one I initially ordered was out of stock in my size, which was fine because I ended up loving the one I got instead! Overall, good experience shopping with them and will again!

My first purchase on verge girl was a successful one. It came within two days and the clothes were perfect. Exactly how they looked in the picture and good quality. The website always has great layouts and ideas on how to style your clothes. Love it, will use again.

I've actually never gone through the trouble of writing a review, but I really want to make sure other people don't make the same mistake I made. Firstly, Verge Girl does not inform its customers properly about the shipping costs. If you are not in Australia DONT ORDER unless you're willing to pay a significant amount of additional money to receive your package. In my instance: I am living in the Netherlands and had to pay 154 euros extra to receive my package (worth 400 euros). If I didn't want to receive my package, I still had to pay those shipping costs.
Secondly, the quality of the clothes is absolutely terrible. A white dress shines through like you can't imagine (especially if you consider the money you paid for it), the fabric is crappy and cheap and all in all everything is extremely overpriced.

This is really to prevent everyone from falling into the same trap..

Good Clothing

Really Great Clothing!
I would rate my recent order a 8/10. The clothing quality is quite nice compared to other stores, but the prices are a bit high. Shipping took around 2-3 weeks (I live in the USA). Packaging was nice and the shirt itself is very cute and well made.

This website is so greedy and disgusting. One of my transactions had a glitch and went through twice. They then refused to refund me the second item because apparently, it went through two separate accounts. When I try to log into this supposed second account there is nothing. I have also got around $300 of store credit (this isn't the issue) the issue is when there is a sale all of my credit disappears... this website sells poorly made, overpriced bull$#*!.

We are really sorry, but the transaction did not have a glitch as we could see that the orders were placed 5 minutes apart using separate email addresses. Due to this, we cancelled one of your orders and placed a store credit onto your account for you to use on a future purchase, as we were unable to refund the order as it was not system error. Your credit is still on your account and is available for you to use and has not disappeared. Our store credits never expire so you can take as long as you like to use it. Very disappointed

Ordered two items online. One doesn't even fit at all because it is just like a square (i guess they must have taped it onto the model) and the other one is sewn asymmetrical by accident. Having in mind how expensive those items were, I am not happy with either material (100% polyester) and the craftsmanship. Customer service was really nice, but couldn't help me out a lot.

I ordered a piece of clothing from this website almost 2 months ago and they still haven't shipped it yet. I understand the current situation but their company claims that they still ship orders DAILY and the delivery is FAST (which is obviously not).
At first when I asked them why my package wasn't moving, they told me that there was no need to worry and the delivery would take about 10 working days. Which means that they didn't even admit that they were having shipping problems. And they still urge to buy their cute but overpriced clothing despite of not being able to send the orders out.
In comparison to Verge Girl, I've ordered some other packages from other websites, which were shipped via DHL and have been delivered on time.
They don't offer any compensations nor discounts in exchange for inconvenience and waiting.
I was expecting better attitude from their company.

We are very sorry, but unfortunately due to COVID-19 there are significant delays with shipments due to border closures, government restrictions and airline cancellations. For further information regarding international shipping delays, please refer here - https://auspost.com.au/about-us/news-media/important-updates/coronavirus/coronavirus-international-updates or contact your local postal service.

Please note that as standard shipping parcels are sent on commercial aircraft, there are delays of up to a few weeks depending on your country's restrictions as there are very few international commercial aircraft operating at this time. The postal services have said that they are working closely with partner airlines and postal operators to move items as quickly possible within the safety guidelines.

The type of shipping selected at checkout will also determine how quickly a parcel will be delivered. If a parcel has been shipped with DHL for example you will likely receive it within 1-3 business days, however unfortunately there are currently delays on all standard international shipments. I am very sorry, but this is sadly something we are unable to control.

You can keep an eye on your parcel using your tracking number that was sent to you when the parcel was dispatched. The same tracking number can be used to track your parcel with your local postal services tracking website. While your parcel is in transit between Australia and the destination country, the tracking details will not update until it has been scanned by your postal service. When your parcel has been scanned into your country the tracking will update.

Please just visit Princess Polly for exactly the same products for half of the price. Not only are their products poor but their customer service practices are highly unethical and dishonest.

Sending you clearly faulty products, then ask you to fix their poor quality clothes yourselves i. E the initial response 'please just cut away the thread that is hanging off in 3/4 separate places on the top'. Like we don't know these tops will then fall apart as soon as we wash them and not be worn again.

When this resolution was obviously refused they provided a returns label and asked to return this (but no mention of the fact they would then remove this cost from the refund). As I had already said on two occasions that I would not be paying extra to return a clearly faulty top to them.

The other top I bought originally which surprisingly wasn't falling apart on arrival. I have now washed once and it has completely lost its colour and the threading is also coming loose.

Please just don't waste your money here they are overcharging you for really poorly made products and then using very dishonest and non-transparent customer service tactics. I wish I'd have checked the reviews before ordering from here as seems to have many bad reviews across the board and I am not surprised.

Also please teach your customer services reps to stop just copying and pasting the same things about the returns policy. Returns policies shouldn't be used to cover your back on faulty items that you are sending out. Which looking at your reviews is happening quite often.

We are always happy to offer compensation for an item that is found to have manufacturing defect and will generally ask customers to send through a photo so our team can easily assess the issue.

Unfortunately, we are not always able to clearly identify a fault via the photographs that have been provided. Generally, when this happens we will provide a pre-paid shipping label so that the garment can be returned back to us and thoroughly inspected by our returns team.

If an item is found not to have a manufacturing defect once it has been received, it will be processed as per our returns policy.
