I read all the bad reviews. Sorry to hear of all the troubles. We rented a log cabin near Gatlinburg. The cabin was as nice as pictures showed. I had to call them about a serious maintenance problem on second day. They responded quickly and worked until the problem was solved. They answered all phone calls no matter what time of day or night. I was pleased when THEY suggested to review our problem for compensation. I did not have to ask. They reimbursed me very fairly for my inconvenience. Maybe the local company they team with in Gatlinburg is extremely efficient. I would rent here again.
I wish I had found this site before we booked a trip through the Vtrips site. I read all the charges and fees before I did the final booking which included only taxes and cleaning fee. There was no line charge for a V trip booking fee of 127.06. They apparently book trips for Jackson Mountain Realty who were agreeable to refunding our money within 24 hours of our trip, which was in their cancellation policy. However, when booking, it is not disclosed that Vtrips is a separate company and charge a separate booking fee, whether you cancel or not. This fee and information was NOT there when I booked. We tried to dispute the chg with our credit card company, but V trips sent documentation showing that the booking fee was disclosed, but it was not. So we will not be getting our money back. They are unscrupulous and I'm sure rip off a lot of people this way. Don't book through them!
Je vois beaucoup de commentaires négatif à l'endroit de Vtrips qui je crois non pas lieu d'être. Noter qu'il faut bien lire les règlements avant de faire les réservations. Nous réservons avec Vtrips depuis 2015 dans des condominiums à Cinnamon Beach et nous avons toujours été bien servis. Je crois que la pandémie a été difficile pour tout le monde. Nous sommes de Québec Canada et nous avons également été obligé de reporter nos vacances en 2021 et tout c'est bien passé.

Not only is this company NOT refunding money during this crisis they have raised the 2021 rentals rate to make you pay the difference. I am forced to pick new dates... even though I don't know my schedule 12 months from now I just wanted to book the same EXACT vacation I wasn't able to use. Which was sat-thursday... but they won't allow that because they are forcing me to do sat-sat, which results in more costs. This is a terrible company. Don't ever use them! Also good luck actually speaking with anyone.
We own a cabin and had it rented through this company and they are horrendously bad! They don't clean the cabins well, they charge for things they "fix", but don't really fix. They say they do a deep cleaning and charge a high price for it, but the place is still dirty. We just moved into our cabin a few weeks after their "deep clean" and the place is really dirty! The pictures speak for themselves. If renting, rent elsewhere. If you're looking for a rental management company find another one!
I have a reservation scheduled for 3/28/20. I have been trying for 4 weeks to resolve this. Indiana, my home state, just went on a lockdown. On 3/23, a family member became ill. I finally reached a guest service rep on 3/24. Was told no refund would be issued. The rep told me, after I explained the situation, " move or lose it". Really? I was told to send an email stating I wanted to reschedule with the rescheduled date and someone would get back with me. I have used this service for the past 3 years. NEVER again.

Horrible Service and they cannot handle multiple rentals especially in Ft Myers FL area. Currently they are holding $11k from me unauthorized after we ended our agreement (due to a lock order that we processed/ details not explained and no contract signed...illegally holding funds). No one is responding to me and I need these funds to help run our business. I highly suggest staying away from this company!
Vtrip made my vacation stay horrible. They made errors and changes to my reservation that left me, my husband & 3 small children in the street no place to stay. I requested a half or full refund and all they refused. I need Mr. Steve Milo the CEO of VTrips review my reservation and to correct the mistake his company made. This is what happens to us from the 1st day arriving to Florida problems after problems moving around from Hotel to Hotel due to them. This company made terrible error for us even in the last night you left us in the street looking for a hotel on our last night before we go home to Germany. This has been a horror to my family will have a horrible memories. We need half or full money back from our trip. This company said to me they are sorry but can't refund me. We deserve a refund. Can someone help us please this is not fair to take advantage from tourists that visit the United States no one want to be rob.
It was the worst customer service and vacation EVER! This company is filled with lies! And the customer service Manager purposely hung up on me. How's that for customer service? Our condo was awful which they promised it was great before our stay. The shower did not work, bathroom doors did not lock, electrical issues, carpets were gross, chairs broken, and much more...
I would NEVER trust this company! Don't book with these people! I would rate them a zero if I could.

Due to exposure of COVID-19, we had to self quarantine to our home and a refund was not granted at our request. Given this is a national pandemic, stimulus funds will be provided to the various markets impacted by COVID-19, this is bad business. Seems they will be double dipping if they were to receive funds for the pandemic. I would highly advise contacting your State legislators office and report this, simply to bring awareness of this practice so they can begin categorizing these businesses. Other travel sites have offered full refunds.

I am trying to reschedule or get a refund for a trip that was booked through VRBO with Vtrips as the property manager. While they are offering to rebook through 2020 that won't work for most people. They need to give a 12 month voucher. I'm still waiting for a return call! The time frame of 9 months ( which is what I have left in 2020 doesn't work)

Arrived at 12 am and gate code don't work, would work if office got the paperwork and our code would be put in the system and gate would open. So by 3 am slept in the rental car us 2.7 am next morning woke up in our car, went to the gate and another renter let us in. Day 2 AC breaks down,day 3 AC again breaks down, then after 2 days of filthy place I woke up to cockroaches in the bed, on the end tables too, dead one that was behind chair been dead a long time, floors were so filthy that my socks were black in a hr. I will never ever rent from this place again EVER! I may have been refunded due to this but 2 days of vacation ruined due to hanging around for AC guy and throwing out food from roaches! Found a better place 6 miles down the road much cleaner! What a horrible nightmare sleeping in truck first night and roaches, filthy. Pics show the filth. Shame on Vtrips and owner Steve Milo. I'm not wealthy just a hard working person trying to enjoy my vacation.
We are currently renting a condo through Maui Rental Group, a division of Vtrips. We have not had a good experience thus far. We were not notified of construction at the main pool pavilion where we are staying during booking. (& would not have booked our current property with children had we been notified since booking) We have not been able to resolve our complaint with Vtrips and it's been 7 days so far. We have been on the phone and email with the local office but all decisions seem to be aggregated at the Vtrips corp level in Florida. (& if you call them directly, they punt to the local office where you're staying) Their latest response is now asking us to wait 2.5 weeks until we have left and have no recourse before they decide to provide any customer service. Vtrips is seemingly a shell game they've set up with subsidiary condo rental agencies.

After paying in advance for a property they suddenly just canceled it and nothing was offered to settle the contract. I never heard of such a one sided deal.

Negative stars! I sincerely would rate in the negative if it was possible. We had a reservation and fully intended on going on vacation. Then COVID-19 hit and states were closing. A week plus before the start of our reservation I began calling and emailing to cancel my reservation. No one could provide information. No one could cancel the reservation. On the day we would have checked out, I began receiving check out notifications through text/email. Again, no one could tell me anything when I called. I finally opened a dispute with my credit card company for attention. 10 days after what would have been our check out date, the reservation was cancelled. I have proceeded to call 3 more times and email to no avail. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Buyer beware, find someone else to book through and save yourself a headache.

After A few months of back and forth with this company vtrips and vacation rental pros. They only offered 50% of money back due to the pandemic, finally I was able to get a full refund. After speaking with the lady she informed me that was there new policy for this pandemic and all would get full refunds.

Horrible horrible horrible! Home was filthy disgusting, mold EVERYWHERE. Pool house door was rotted off, pool had tile broken around it that could have caused a child or someone to be injured. Majority of Pool furniture was broken outside of the pool gate. The pool cage screen was busted out everywhere. Near the pool an electrical cover was broken off and inside an electrical outlet was covered with a bandaid. There was not enough dishes to accommodate 14 people at all. Will NEVER use this company again.
By far the worst experience I've ever had with a travel agency. Booked a condo, signed a contract and paid in full. 2 weeks later they try to cancel by saying that the owner of the condo wants more money. Then Covid-19 hits prior to our reservations. They refuse to allow access to the condo yet still charged us for the stay even though we never showed up. Only offered a 50% refund. How do these people sleep at night?

Thousands of dollars were spent on a 8 bedroom, 8 1/2 bath with 8 parking spaces, theater room, large kitchen and 2 hot tubs sounds great... don't bother. My family used another company in 2016 for our reunion in Gatlinburg. The company used in 2016 was bought out by Vtrip. The service provided by Vtrip Sucks. We didn't have 8 parking spaces, no sink stopper in 3 bathrooms, 1 sink was clogged, deck was missed one slat and 2 were dry rotted, all in one section. Trash was only picked up once after calling several times. We were there for 5 days in a house that sleeps 38 people. Many complaints calls were made to Vtrip and we received no call backs, despite many promises for a call back. Requests for management went unanswered.

We just left condo #233, at 8300 Estero Blvd.
We paid $6000 for 2 weeks thinking we would be staying in luxury.
The condo is shabby and dirty and not very well stocked.
The smoke detectors don't work, I had to sweep the kitchen and clean out the microwave when we arrived.
We were given 1 towel each for the 2 week period. 1 SMALL bath towel each.
Had to buy our own soap and toilet paper.
We will never return to your properties again and I can assure you everyone we know and all of social media will know what a racket you are running.

As stated on our booking sites and within our contract, all of our units are self-catering units, we only provide limited supplies just to get you through the first night. Most units are supplied with washer and dryers, therefore, we do not provide extra towels, but if we have extra available you are more than welcome to request them and we will bring them right over. As well as any problems you encounter during your stay. We are available to assist you. Again we apologize that your stay wasn't an amazing one.
This company is using a pandemic to profit and it's disgusting. In trying to cancel because of COVID-19, here are the documented options I was given. 1) I could suck it up and risk the health of my parents and steps parents (All late 60s) and the health of my 3 children (7 and under). 2) I could move my dates, but only after Labor day as the summer months are busy season. 3) Receive a 50% refund. Are you kidding me? On top of that, they processed my payment 1.5 hours after I was sent the rental agreement, during the middle of a work day, when I was working and not staring at my gmail account, which automatically voided me of signing up for renters insurance. Despicable company.

I was very happy with this vacation rental company. Then COVID-19 happened. First they told me it was too early to modify my reservation and to call back. Then I tried calling back for weeks, no answer. I sent an email and got a very closed ended response. I called back again and was told the deposit would still not be refundable and if you wanted to reschedule, you'd have to pay a small fee. Many travel insurance policies do not cover pandemics. If a client loses money on a reservation, why would they ever book with the company again? Right now it's important for vacation rental companies to do the right thing in order to retain business from repeat customers.
You have to maintain the integrity of the business, but they've been the least flexible during this whole pandemic. Something to be mindful of when booking them for 2020 and 2021.

In light of the Coronavirus and travel advisories, we are trying cancel our reservation but it is impossible to reach anyone at VTrips. Other companies such as Airbnb are giving full refunds in light of the extenuating circumstances. Shame on you Vtrips for gauging your customers during such sensitive time!

Like others I am in the same boat of being offered 50 percent refund for a trip not taken. In contrast, I found the following guidance from Airbnb - wish I had booked with them as they seem to understand what customer service means. Tell all your friends.
Reservations for stays and Airbnb Experiences made on or before March 14,2020, with a check-in date between March 14,2020 and May 31,2020, may be canceled before check-in. This means that guests who cancel will receive, at their option, travel credit or a full cash refund, hosts can cancel without charge or impact to their Superhost status, and Airbnb will either refund, or issue travel credit in an amount that includes, all service fees.
We had a problem at our Florida rental house. I've called three times and no one has called back yet with a solution. The communication is terrible! And the three times I've spoken to them they've offered no compensation or alternative for our problem.

I booked a rental with VTrips for Memorial Day Weekend on Monday, May 4th. The property was in Florida and I was unaware of the ongoing ban on short term rentals in that state at the time of booking - the beaches are open but short term rentals evidently are not. The agent I spoke with did not mention the ban either and processed the rental. Thankfully they have a 48 hour cancellation window so I emailed two different email addresses I was able to locate and left a voicemail for good measure. After 3 days with no responses from those efforts, I emailed their CEO Steve Milo and still no response. In short, they booked me a rental illegally and are apparently trying to keep my money even though I reached out by every method available to cancel within the allotted window. I would not do business with this company based on my experience.
