This review is for Luis Rosado, Service Advisor, for Caliber Collision, 281 North. When everyone else dropped the ball (Roberto/Bobby & Jason), Luis went above and beyond.
As for Caliber Collision, they are good. Pleased with the repair so far.

The WORST body shop I have ever been to.

Ever since they got bought by Pohanka there work has been garage. They are still clinging to their reputation to get first time customers. I needed to have some vandalism damage repaired. They not only took a week to get me the estimate, but I spend 3 days going back and forth with Tommy Buchard - who by the way sends EVERY SINGLE EMAIL IN ALL CAPS - about what work I want to get done. So when I tell him that I need my car back for the long weekend he goes "what? This Friday? But we've already started working on the car." WTH?! I never gave you permission to work on the car.

Complete bogus. Then when I call them out on it they start saying how dropping the car off is consent. They wouldn't let me drop the car off there if I didn't sign the waiver. Bogus.

So I go to pick my car up on Friday and BAM Tommy tells me that I owe them $1,300 for body work. Body work that I never even asked for - total BS. But of course they won't release my car unless I pay them in full. So I'm stuck paying the BS bill so I can get my car back.

The best part is that in the time that they were doing all this "body work" they managed to sand down a non-damaged fender panel and get primer overspray all over my rear window. And guess what? That fender they sanded down - not covered by insurance. So I am stuck paying to fix a mistake they made while doing body work that I didn't want.

Now I'm stuck paying out of pocket for another shop to fix what they screwed up.

Worst. Bodyshop. I have ever been to.

Two thumbs down.

I called to have work done on my vehicle after being sent from a different caliber collision - I was told my closest location 'didn't work on EVs' and so I needed to come to this location.
Caliber Collision apparently does not have a shared computer system where claims and estimates can be transferred through, so I was told I needed to have a second estimate done. I calmly expressed my frustration that the estimate and insurance claim couldn't be transferred some other way and that I was going to need to bring in my car to redo work that had already been done, but scheduled the estimate for the following week anyway.

2 hours later the manager from the location calls me back and tells me he is calling back to answer 'questions' I had. I did not ask for this call, I had already made my appointment, and although I was disappointed that I was having to pick up the slack left by the aforementioned lack of communication, I was satisfied enough to take and keep the appointment I had made earlier. I did let the manager know, again, calmly, that I was not sure why the claim and estimate could not be transferred from my local Caliber, and in response the manager said to me, and I quote, 'What can I do for you here, sweetie?'

I told him that he could start by not calling me 'sweetie'. Immediately after this, he told me that he would not be taking my repair and canceled my appointment.

It's not enough that Caliber had to make this repair especially difficult for me, the management of this particular Caliber then had to condescend to me in a sexist way while denying service. Which is funny, because moments before he told me that they will 'take anyone'. I've dealt with a lot of poor customer service in my life. I'm generally pretty relaxed and patient with customer service representatives, even if I'm frustrated and annoyed with how I'm treated as a customer, but I do draw the line at being treated like a second class citizen by management. Needless to say, I will not ever be taking my vehicles to this Caliber Collision or any other location at any time in the future, and neither should you. Unless of course, you appreciate being patronized by the establishment's manager.
