So every week a pharmacy has a sale on Cola. Walgreens is THE ONLY ONE that has a limit on how may at sale price. Pepsi this week was 3 for 9.99. So I load A cart full walk past the clerk several times looking for other items. At the check out the same clerk says Pepsi is limit of 3 for the sale price ‼ So I put them all back in the pile along with 56 dollars worth of other items went to RITE AID got the same deal but was able to buy 9 with no worries. If it's on sale What difference dies it make how many I buy. BYE WALGREENS
Due to poor service and common meds not being readily available we transfered all prescriptions to a pharmacy other than Walgreens. Upon refilling a prescription at the new pharmacy it was over $100 less expensive than it has been at Walgreens. Same med, same manufacturer, same dosage, same quanity, same insurance, same everything but at a much lower cost.
I went to my neighborhood Walgreens Pharmacy to fill a prescription. The cashier took the prescription and told me I had to wait for validation from my insurance company, the pharmacist never called my insurance company. Thinking the cost was high I called my insurance and they had not record of Walgreens validating my prescription. My insurance pays 75% and I pay 25%! They used some online company without my permission. I was paying 50%. I called CareFirst and found this out, pharmacist only said he did not know what went on?
I am writing about the Walgreens pharmacy at 95th and Cicero in Oak Lawn, IL. If you want to get a heart attack from unnecessary stress, that would be the place to go. I had to call 3 times within an hour to check on a prescription refill, holding for over 40 minutes on the 3rd call, simply because they had faxed the prescription to the wrong number. Went back and forth between them and the doctor, because obviously somebody dropped the ball, and of course no one takes responsibility. Also, those text messages they send telling you to press RENEW - don't bother. That is totally bogus. I did it twice last week, and called in last night, but what is the point? I am moving over to CVS or Costco.
The Walgreens in Placerville California is the most unorganized pharmacy I have ever done business with! Every time I have tried to get a prescription or immunization there the staff is unorganized and most times unhelpful. There is never enough staff to help customers and they are unfamiliar with the stock in the store. I will definitely not be back!
My doctor wired over my script on Monday morning. Stopped in late Monday afternoon, was told if I care to wait, they will have it ready in 10 minutes. I said I would just stop back. Went back Tuesday morning, again, I was told I can wait 10 minutes and they will have it ready for me. Mid afternoon went back, but this time I was told if I could wait 20 minutes, they would have it ready. I again said I would stop back. Hopefully this time they will be able to pull their heads out of their a$$e$. Now it is Wednesday morning, nothing!
Walgreens - Store #6568 has a very poor customer service on the phone. It is near impossible to talk to a human being.
2274 FORTUNE RD
Kissimmee, FL *******
The Customer service at Walgreens is the poorest I've experienced EVER. If you call they are rude when you go inside, they are just as rude. I understand if your busy but there is no excuse for the rudeness. I'm talking about the one in Las Vegas off of Silverado ranch.
Had to use mail service to get a 5x7 reprint with matte finish, and after six days, my order still hasn't been shipped. It boggles my mind how a company can print glossy photos in less than an hour, but it takes a week (or more) to do matte. Customer Service was no help at all. They can only see the same order status I do.
At 7:50 PM on Friday, September 2,2022, I, William Bailey, a retired military officer, visited Walgreen at 5975 WEDDINGTON RD, Matthews, NC ******* – to speak with the pharmacist. Instead of communicating with the pharmacist standing there, Wendy addressed me in a very unprofessional manner. The pharmacist refused to read my document to update my shot record for international travel on Sunday, September 2,2022. These shots were given at Walgreen, and I was trying to get all my shots records updated on a yellow-shot record card. The team at this location does not understand that Walgren is a corporation, and we, as customers, should be able to go to any Walgreen and get the same quality of services.
Then Wendy closed the pharmacy secure windows in my face. I knocked on the door and the pharmacy, and Wendy refused to open to door to address my concern. Another employee opened the door and asked if she could help me, and I asked her what the lady's name doing all the talking, and she said, Wendy.
I then went to the front and asked to speak with the manager. The clerk stated that the manager was in the back and said there was nothing they could do to assist me or address my concerns. This is when I came home and called customer service and wrote this letter.
Dishonest! Fills prescriptions early for only certain customers. By picking and choosing which customers for early refill
Nothing more than discrimination
I do not use the Walgreen.com often but I did order this month.
The package did not arrive as expected on 08/09/22 but Wlagreen and Fedex notified me that it was delivered at 11:25 a.m. to the residency in San Diego, CA. Not my residency: I did not recieve it...
But maybe someone receieved it at a different residency. What kind of delevery proof Wlagreen and Fedex are giving? They are not specifiing an address: just a residency in San Diego, CA
I guess i was supposed to go around all San Deigo and look for my package.
Called Wallgreen twice: first time I was told it is too early, look at your backyard,... Who delivers packages to the backyard?
Today, week later I called and was told that my accent is too heavy to understand me... Really? And the agent dropped the call.
I was lucky Linda picked up my call and gave me an outstanding service:
Two minutes and she understood me clearly and perfectly and right away send me a courtesy package with the missing items.
Five stars for Linda!
Zero starts for everyone else...
Tha tis why I am giving average of 2 stars.
I am a long time customer of Walgreens (not sure why) and always run into issues when getting prescriptions filled due to an illness. Seems their online prescription system doesn't receive what is sent from the doctors office and/or a terrible wait time. Yesterday I had issues picking up flu meds and today the same for my husband. We had to drive back to urgent care and get his prescription in paper because their system wasn't working. I will be changing pharmacies for sure. Enough is enough.
This has to honestly be the worst pharmacy in the US today. Look at their 86% bad reviews. My cancer drug was called in on Wed, then the pharmacy abruptly closes for 3 days. I must wait until Monday for my Oncologist to re-write the script for another store. These abrupt pharmacy closures are happening frequently across the city. I was informed pharmacy workers are rebelling against the greedy corporation.
Of course I don't know what kind of systems, protocols or assorted head-office-related trash the techs and pharmacists go through. Whenever I call, I try to keep that in mind. However, suburban stores of this chain never get a prescription right.
Want a common, non-controlled drug? On back order. Try again in 14 days--7 days after you've gone through your supply.
Need a controlled substance prescription? They'll run the generic brand on your insurance, then not try anything else if it gets rejected. You call to get it run through properly, under the brand name drug, and it will take them another three days to fill it. Then the following month you can do the same thing all over again, just like you've done for the last year.
Use the app? Best of luck getting anything filled within 48 hours, even post-operative pain medication.
Call to ask why your refill request, with active refills left, has been in limbo for five days? 'There's no refills left'. Yet the doctor and their office says otherwise. Also, 'why didn't you just use the app'?
I get that they're understaffed, underpaid and it's a terrible place to work. IT problems aren't going to get resolved at the counter, they're under inventory constraints like any other business, et cetera. But please, please, PLEASE work with the people who are just trying improve their quality of life by seeking healthcare. I don't want to be a bother, but I also don't want to lose my job because of taking too many sick days between being properly medicated.
I called in my script that is due tomorrow and she wouldn't put them in said I have to call tomorrow the day I need to pick them up. They only work 3 hours a day it takes 45 minutes to an hour to get in contact with anyone and she wants me to call the day they are due to fill them so they can say we are short staffed and behind and I end up getting my script late. I'm transferring to a different pharmacy. Walgreens in Rhinelander Wi is going to $#*!.
I went in to get a flu shot. There was a problem with getting the insurance information to approve which finally after 2 days they did. I'm glad they tried so hard to do that. Then I go in to get the flu shot I show up 40 minutes before they close and they tell me that's not enough time go away come again another day. I already don't have time because it's taking so long to sort out the insurance issue I sure don't have time to come back another day. I was told to not be there at 8:30 as it wouldn't be enough time I show up at 8:18 p.m. 42 minutes before closing and I'm told again not enough time. I hate that this is my only local source I will look for an alternative
I am a recent kidney transplant recipient and because of my BCBS Insurance I am dictated to get the majority of my anti-rejection meds through Walgreens. I have had so many issues with the Pharmacy located on Chapel Hill Road in Douglasville, GA with getting medications in a timely manner. I placed an order on July 15,2022 and since the Pharmacy had not notified me that my order was ready, I stopped by on July 18th at 9:30 a.m. to check on the script and I was told by one of their pharmacy technicians that my medicine was short filled because they didn't have enough pills in stock and the remainder of the order would be in the next day. I actually gave them two extra days but when I didn't hear from them again, I called the pharmacy on July 22nd and was put on eternal hold and was then told that they still didn't have enough pills in stock and they would be in on today, July 25th. Still as of 10:00 p.m. tonight there has been no communication from the store. I filed a complaint with the Walgreens Corporate Complaint Hotline on Friday night and still I haven't heard anything from the Pharmacy Manager, Store Manager nor the District Manager. These non actions really show me what I have known for a long time that they don't care about customer service nor the health of their customers. Once again I remind you that I am a recent kidney transplant!
Don't pick this pharmacy because you'll have a Difficult time getting your prescription on time and they Won't tell you when they close early. I've had more problems with this pharmacy than any other
This Walgreens in lk orion mi is so wonderful they are helpful and kind I needed cranberry juice and he got it for me cause I have covid and couldn't go in and shop. I got my covid meds too great place for all your needs. Thank u walgreens!
Answer: Absolutely not. Bottom of the line products marked up. Corporate concentrates solely on cutting costs, stock prices and separating as many suckers as possible from their money.
