Big semi-easy saving at C.V.S. Massachusetts locations. Sometimes the cashier acts like it is bothersome to lower the insurance cost to the NICE Goodrx price. I Think this "coupon shamming" is taught to them through corporate culture. Maybe they drank the (C.V.S.) koolaide. But you have to stand your ground so they lower the cost.
This is the sh1ttiest telehealth someone could ever receive. I contact Goodrx care to get a simple refill for a topical clindamycin solution I use for my HS. IM ACTIVELY FLARING. I have already been diagnosed by a derm so I thought like any rational being would that I should just set up a consultation for prescription refill. I pad for the gold membership to get the 19.99 consult and waited for around 3 hours for a reply. After waiting all that time the nurse replied stating that they don't prescribe refills for antibiotics for HS which would only make sense if I was filling an ORAL prescription. MY REQUEST WAS FOR TOPICAL TREATMENT. I replied to the nurse and asked why. I asked or clarification hoping someone would work with me about how to best handle the situation. Instead I got ignored and was told to start general visit for consultation. I was assured by the phone rep. That I could get my fill through the general visit. I tried again on Saturday afternoon. So far now I've been charged twice for consult. I did not get reply from a nurse until 24 HOURS LATER asking me if I was told to start a consult under general visit instead of Acne treatment. HS IS LITERALLY CALLED ACNE IN VERSA and yet they cancelled my visit after I've already attempted for 36 hours to get a prescription fill. Even though I selected GENERAL VISIT, their system routed me to Acne consult and that's somehow my fault. I contacted good rx again and the rep told me she would escalate the issue to a doctor for a second look. I literally get a message from them restating that I should've done a general visit and to try again but choose a more "vague" symptom for the system to route me to right place. SYMPTOMS ARE VAGUE. That's what the f*xck a symptom is. Goodrx is hot fxcking garbage. How are you holding a customer responsible for the system YOU put in place and then keep suggesting that they get charged 3 times in a row when you could just HELP THEM. Or at least, instead of cancelling their visits after making them wait days for a reply, create a system where they can be routed to he correct place and receive treatment? It doesn't matter if the refund is coming back in 10-15 days. What if that's my last 60 dollars for the week? The complete negligence and lack of care Goodrx showed, I will never use them again. Absolutely fxcking disgusting and disrespectful. Just so y'all can get kickbacks for referrals. I hope you ROT.

This scam site, probably out of India, cited me a price for a medication of $89. When they said "order the prescription" at any number of pharmacies, they said the price is normally $******* but they "discounted" it to $*******! Are they kidding? Are they for real? No one pays $******* for a medication. I told them I wasn't buying a car, cancelled my membership and demanded my money back from their "care team." They refunded the money but they are complete scam artists. Don't give them ANY credit card information! These people are crazy with their phony coupons. Avoid them at all costs.
We're really terribly sorry to hear that your GoodRx Care experience was not the best Steven. Our service is limited to certain prescriptions we are able to fill via telehealth. We do offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and would be happy discuss your appointment. Please send us a message through your GoodRx Care account, and we'll be more than happy to help. https://goodrx.co/3R1EDOp
As of 1/1/2024 they are not accepted at the CVS I just went to. Even though they claimed they had my medication there for $118 via GoodRx this was not the case. CVS wanted to charge $279 - sorry not going to pay that.
Hi there Bryan, we would like to apologize for the difficulties while at the pharmacy. Please give us a call so we may provide you with assistance, our team would be happy to speak with the pharmacy on your behalf! We can be reached at 888-799-2553, Monday through Sunday from 6am to 9pm CT.
To save money, GoodRx uses people from non-English speaking countries to work their call centers. They did not understand my basic questions and give guidance that was simply incorrect -- a true lack of training and incompetence. Also, GoodRx advertises special one-time pricing that simple isn't accurate. Please don't trust this company with your medication. I ended talking to my pharmacy (CVS) and they had their own discount plan which was cheaper. Thanks for nothing, BadRX!
I setup an appointment for a medication I have been prescribed by my primary health doctor in the past. Thought I could save myself a Dr visit. Explained my symptoms and within 30 seconds for a reply that I should just go to my primary physician. It was clearly a copy pasted message. After that got no response until the next day someone telling me they were sorry. Terrible experience, do not waste your time or money

I would recommend Good Rx to anyone and everyone who needs medical help after hours of normal businesses. I would even choose this over most medical experiences during typical business hours to be honest. Quick. Easy. Affordable. Plus they checked in on me after which I didn't expect. I love that the staff is knowledgeable and caring. I wish I could give them more stars! I recommend be careful and pay attention when selecting how you rate your experience after your visit as I assumed it would show the ratings in ascending order not descending order and inadvertently clicked on the worst option where I had wanted to give them the best rating possible. Definitely will use this service again.
Tip for consumers:
Anyone who needs medical assistance after normal operating hours or anyone who has anxiety about seeing doctors face to face. I'm not sure how much they can diagnose but I noticed a long list of other ailments.

Hello Erinne! We are so glad you enjoyed your GoodRx Care experience. If you find you need further assistance with from GoodRx Care please message us through our app messenger. We are available Monday through Friday from 6am to 7pm PST, but response times may take longer outside of our normal business hours. We hope you are doing well and wish you a swift recovery!
Title says it all—go here if you want an automated response system that ensures you won't speak to anyone, they'll prescribe something you mentioned you don't like to take, then they'll mark it case closed without looking at any of your messages asking for help. It's been 2 hours and I still have no relief because I've been prescribed something that doesn't work for me. The best part? You pay upfront for this "service".

This is my first time using GoodRX and I only paid $1.81 for my prescription. They gladly took it at CVS with the only difference that they didn't give me the pills inside a plastic bottle but in its original strip packaging, which is fine as the bottle ends up in the garbage anyway. Thank you!
Hey Diana! We are so happy that we were able to help you save on your medication!
Have used it for years but one problem. If the med is not in stock, the price may go up $5 to $200 by the time it gets in. A pop up on the web site says "apply the coupon ahead of time" and shows the coupon price next to it, but you can't apply the coupon until it arrives and the price may vary a huge amount. Good Rx runs and changes the coupon price constantly. I have refused meds twice at the counter when I saw the new price-----way higher. If your pharma does not stock your med, shop around to find one that does, or be prepared for sticker shock.
Hi - that's not exactly right. If the manufacturer of the drug switches, the price may change. This doesn't happen often, but once in a while it will - it's up the pharmacy. We track prices and information constantly and provide the best price and coupon we can find, but there will obviously be times when a pharmacy stocks multiple products or switches when we don't know - they don't tell us. So yes, the best advice is to call around - and always let us know so that we can work to find you a better coupon for that product!
They'll take advantage of you any way they can...they advertise one price on Google search, in my case 30pills for $18.70. Then you go through very unclear process of answering few questions and all of a sudden I'm already charged $49 - just for automatic chat. Then I pick up my prescription and it's another $48 for 12 pills. Nurses on the chat have no idea about pills quantity and dosages.
In short what I thought would be convenient way to get around 36 pills of my medication for around $20 according to their advertising turned into 12 pills worth $97...
Never again!
We're sorry you've had a negative experience with GoodRx Care, Tomasz; we would like to investigate this further. Please send us a message through your GoodRx Care account and we'll be happy to help. We are available Monday through Friday from 6am to 7pm PST, and have delayed hours on the weekend. Please keep in mind, it is not a live chat, and someone will respond as soon as possible.
Attempted to use GoodRx@ several chain pharmacies. Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. would not honor coupon. Don't waist your time on them. I also checked out 5 star reviews on this site& see all are 1st time reviewers, with no others. Which leads me to believe that GoodRx is fraudulently posting good reviews in order to prop up their business!
Hello Pat! We are so sorry to hear about the experience you had at your local pharmacies. Our prices are generally very accurate and pharmacies are contractually obligated to accept our discounts under most circumstances. Our Advocacy Team would love to look into this for you! Please contact us at 888-799-2553 and we’ll investigate immediately.
Explained to Walgreens and showed them the app and it's operation. They refused to acknowledge it as a valid form of getting prescriptions.
"GoodRx R. [GoodRx Rep] All of our coupons are based on contracted rates at pharmacies and are used thousands of times every day without issue. If you're having a problem, we'd love to help - please email *******@goodrx.com. Thanks."... nice politically correct canned status quo response GoodRX.

4-2-days,I tried to use their site.I gave up, went to another site, got my script that was badly needed within and hour. It seems that Good RX has a cut off of age when treating you.If your insurance is Medicare & a supplementary, under the bus you go! Should change their name, hardly good at all,,,,,This was for online medical help...
Tip for consumers:
Forget Good RX onsite medical for doctor, if you're over 65 they don't want to know you.

They've been running tv ad with woman, taking two kids into empty pharmacy to ask cost of medication for her son. Comes up $67 on register - as she turns to leave, then pharmacist(not before) asks if she's heard of Good RX.(never says whether she has insurance and that's the price, or she has no insurance, or it does not cover that medication)
Cashier plugs in price - comes up $8.90. I'd like Good RX to explain why narrator in commercials says you can save up to 80% on a prescription. And yet in this commercial, that savings - shown visually - people will focus more on picture than narration - is a savings of 88%. (i. E. $67 reduced by 88% yields about $8.90)? Is use of a "fake" savings figure, exceeding what narration says customers can save - just sloppy - or intentional?
Hi Roger,
Glad to hear we were able to help you save! GoodRx provides prices and coupons for both brand-name and generic medications (FDA approved). If a drug is available as both generic and brand-name, we'll show the generic prices first as a way to help consumers save.
While we’re experts on drug prices, we aren’t doctors and can’t give medical advice. We always recommend speaking with your doctor before considering switching to a generic medication.
If you have any concerns regarding the FDA and generic medications, we recommend you speak to your doctor or pharmacist with any medical questions you might have.
Thank you.
I took 3 coupons to two different pharmacies in my town. Both pharmacists told me this is a come on. They may give you the discount once, then goodrx doesn't pay the pharmacy when you go back for refills. I will not waste time to continue this research.
Hi Allen - your pharmacist is mistaken. Our coupons work at virtually every pharmacy in the US. Sounds like these pharmacists would rather not give you the discounted price, despite their contract. We can help - email help@goodrx.com?
I've never been so humiliated in all my life. The pharmacy tech at Walgreens said they do accept discount cards but not GoodRx. When I pressed he got the pharmacy manager who mirrored the same words. Then he explained that they coupons they produce put the pharmacy in the red because the displayed price doesn't even cover the ingredient cost of the drug. I took back my coupon and went to CVS, same story there as well as Walmart. All three can't be wrong. There should be a law that protects consumers from these types of companies. What a SCAM!
More than 3 million people use GoodRx to save on their prescriptions every month. In our experience, SiteJabber attracts the very, very few people who like to write negative reviews and, more importantly, these reviewers never respond when we attempt to help them resolve their issues (which we can!). So... we don't respond to comments here any more.
Please email info@goodrx.com if you'd like help. Thanks.
Received my 30 day free trial card. The web site quoted the discount price. Went to my participating Pharmacy and GoodRx would not approve the price quoted on line. Spoke to 2 different GoodRX customer service representatives. First one young inexperienced, told me what she was probably reading off a sheet. Asked for a supervisor (Isaiah) Extremely rude, cut me off during asking questions, and when I would cut in to ask ask a question l was told I was being difficult.? It appears they are programmed, and if you ask simply questions they don't know the answer too you all the sudden become difficult and they want to end the conversation. I rarely send reviews but this one is truly price false advertising and horrible customer service.
Hi - GoodRx Gold prices are right, and if there's an issue, we're happy to take care of it and make things right. Our contracted rates are clearly published and if we're wrong (which rarely happens, if ever), we'll be sure to make you happy somehow. Will you please email help@goodrx.com so we can resolve this?
This site and app are very close to being illegal. If anyone goes to 4 different pharmacies for their scripts a red flag will be placed in your new file with the dea and at least here the state of Michigan. How many different federal agencies do you want knocking on your door? And then you can explain to them about good Rx as they are arresting you for whatever they want.
Sounds like you had a bad experience, Gary - we'd love to help. Be mindful that Gary's comments are completely untrue, however.
I had their discount card for my pain medicine prescription because United Healthcare keeps refusing to cover my medicine. Well so does "Good" Rx. When I called, a very snotty woman gleefully told me they were allowed to discriminate against me by law. I hope with all of my being that this woman develops a chronic pin condition. GoodRx sucks!
Hi Beth - I think you have the wrong company. GoodRx provides no services based on gender; we simply provide you with information and discounts to use at the pharmacy. I'm sorry for your experience, but I don't think we're the enemy here. It sounds like you're having an issue filling a controlled prescription, which can be challenging as many pharmacists are very cautious about filling those prescriptions and they may not honor GoodRx coupons (as we explain on the website), but that would be the pharmacist's choice, not ours? Please contact help@goodrx.com if we can be of further service.
I was very skeptical about this in the beginning. The wife and I lost our insurance, so we thought we would give it a try because we needed a discount on our meds while waiting for the new insurance to kick in. To my surprise, I saved just over $250 on one medication by comparing prices at different pharmacies. It definitely saves a considerable amount of money when you don't have insurance. I would recommend this for anyone who doesn't have insurance. I never give 5 stars, nothing is perfect.
Way to be your own advocate and finding savings for you and your wife, Gary! We're are very happy to hear we were able to help you save.
At first goodrx was helpful In finding decent prices.
It allowed me to make an educated decision as to which would be the best pharmacy for a particular med. Lately it seems the price is always higher than the coupon even though the PIN number matches. Upon contacting customer service... after getting through that awful automated system... I was told the price is always an estimate and may be off. I guess the best thing to do is call around (fun! More automation!) to make sure prices match.
All of our coupons are based on contracted rates at pharmacies and are used thousands of times every day without issue. If you're having a problem, we'd love to help - please email help@goodrx.com. Thanks.
I've used this website a few times for coupons on my medications. I like that it lists several stores and their prices for your medicine so you don't have to physically go there or call to price it out. You can have your medication mailed to you in some cases. It's worth a look, every little bit helps.
I have used GoodRx a number of times. It may not be convenient but it has saved me money. Only once at a Meijer did they have an issue with using the card. Just yesterday we got a prescription that was $122 with our insurance (have not met the deductible) for about $17. It pays to ask.
If you ever have issues using a GoodRx coupon, just let us know and we can help. Pharmacies are usually contractually obligated to accept GoodRx coupons. Email help@goodrx.com. Thanks.
I have been using goodrx for a few prescriptions since last year & it has always worked out well for me (@ Kroger & rite aid). It cuts my gabapentin price in half! So today I was wondering if there's a chance they might be able to save me a few $'s on suboxone (it's expensive). I checked all the prices & they are all way higher than what I actually pay. I pay 324@ rite aid & the rite aid coupon says 406, however I just read a review in which a goodrx user said he paid just 126 for a months supply of the same medication. I'm wondering if my always helpful pharmacist can help me figure it out.
I have had a yeast infection multiple times before and the long process of getting a pill at the emergency room was not pleasant at all. I've had to wait 6+hours for them to diagnose me and prescribe a medicine that i already knew I would end up leaving with. This is a very painful and irritating thing and imagine having to wait that many hours once more in the emergency room gave me such anxiety. I was always skeptical about this stuff and it was great being able to get the pill with an hour of using goodrx. I did have to pay for the diagnosis and the pill coming out to 30$ but I'd rather that then going and sitting in the emergency room for the day. The pharmacy and this company doesn't accept insurance. So if I did go to the ER it would've been free. But if you need something fast then this is the route to go if you're willing to pay money.
We appreciate your review! We're glad to hear that GoodRx Care provided you with a quick and convenient experience.

Hello John! We are so happy to hear you found savings with a GoodRx coupon! Pharmacists will, usually, first process your script with the insurance on file; when you provide a GoodRx coupon they have to reprocess you medication. To save time, and hopefully frustration, you may want to provide the coupon before pick-up, either when you drop off your script or by calling in. Hope this helps!
