The prices are cheaper than most other places but the quality is worse than most as well. The saying, you get what you pay for is true when it comes to walmart. As their employees are not paid well, the customer support leaves a lot to be desired. There are always long lines at checkout and it can be a waiting nightmare at times. However, the location is quite convenient for me.
I love how convenient walmart.com is especially the pick up and delivery system! I cant get over how easy it is and now I dont have to go to the store and deal with people its amazing love it!
It can depend on which Walmart location you chose to shop in BUT...
For the most part, I find that the morning time is the best time for me because the store is less crowded. When it's less crowded, I can browse around very comfortably and find some of the best prices while discovering new brands as well. I love using self checkout because the long lines for cash registers can be a pain due to limited staffing. But overall, I can generally find what I need when the stocking and signage is on point.
I love shopping at Walmart and Walmart.com. They have a wide variety of items and the items are usually in stock. I have been shopping at Walmart for years.
Walmart customer service is terrible the one in Dillon South Carolina accused me of doing something I did not do with them you are guilty until proven innocent they even called the police which banned me from the store that's pretty bad when it comes to customer service when you did not do anything and they ban you from the store and they accuse you of doing something they will believe an employee before they will be the customer they are nothing but a Chinese sweatshop do you know where you're getting your meat from when you buy from Walmart have you ever looked at the selection and their shoe department they sell nothing but sweatshop shoes another thing they do and this goes for all of them when you need to call them and talk to somebody they don't answer the phone. The only thing they look to do is kill the mom and pop stores I say boycott Walmart I know of many other stores that may cost a little bit more about you get better customer service and they're cleaner
So frustrating to use that I quit. I tried to shop and one wrong breath, you get locked out-period. "press and hold" button doesn't work. "not a robot" dialog won't load when you check the box. I'm good with computers and this is beyond losing my temper. Back to Amazon. Wrote Walmart a nasty.

I have been trying to get an issue resolved with Walmart customer service, Walmart gift card services, Walmart billing and Walmart customer relations. I called 8 times since March 24th 2022 in regards to a gift card that I purchased from Walmart.com that was supposed to be sent to my sister for her birthday by e-gift. She never received the email and she has had the same email address for 20 years and she checked numerous times including her junk email box. The email gift idea should have taken minutes but never arrived and the customer service has not responded to my request for refund they have not helped me at all in this case. Terrible customer relations experience. I don't recommend ever shopping at Walmart for any reason even emergency supplies.
I love Walmart for their everyday low prices but I have never had a good experience with their delivery service. Here are my top frustrations...
*Large orders are split into several smaller orders. For example, I have purchased 20 items at one time and then get a Walmart bag on my doorstep with 1 item in it multiple days in a row (since they use Doordash-see below). Then they will ship the rest of the order but it gets separated into multiple orders as well.
*Walmart uses Doordash but never notifies you when they do it so you are unaware a driver is coming. You also cannot leave tips for them and I know they don't pay them enough to deliver 1 item to my door.
*Shipping is often delayed and I have had many items canceled off my order days later with no explanation
*The way they pack their boxes for shipment is laughable. I just had a box arrive with an 8 pack of Gatorade, 1 bag of chips and NO bubble wrap or packing. Needless to say, the chips were crushed.
Even though I still find myself wanting to place orders on Walmart due to their prices, it's just not worth the hassle.
I shop Cedartown, GA Walmart as my main store. I purchase material in your fabric department frequently and I can never get someone to help me. Today I waited 20 minutes after I finally asked an associate if I could get some help. She walked away and came back to the girls department never spoke one word to me and no one ever showed up. This is not the first time this has happened to me... in the sewing department. This is very frustrating and I then have to drive somewhere else to get what I need. I guess my money is not needed in your store. It is always hard to get assistance in this store.
I am so thrilled with Walmart and an item I just purchased online. I had been wanting a jewelry armoire for a long time and spent so much time researching. Many armoires had bad reviews; arriving damaged, made out of flimsy material, scratches, peeling laminate, etc. I Googled, zoomed, and did everything to try to find one that was not so expensive. Finally, I ordered on I found on Walmart, The Nora, it is lovely. I saw ones from $149 to thousands and I could not be happier than with this one. I was afraid to open the box, in case I didn't like it, so I opened it as if it had the Hope diamond. I can hardly express how satisfied I am. There is not a flaw, the finish is perfect. There is no discoloration. I have all antiques and this fits in perfictly I read reviews of drawers falling out, missing pieces, mismatched wood and more horror stories. Some styles by this manufacturer are not highly reviewed. This one was sold out at Walmart and I can see why. Thank you, Walmart!
I am surprised as anyone about writing this review about Walmart. For years, I had a love-hate relationship with them since the prices were incredibly low, but the customer service end really suffered. Covid-19 seems to have really transformed the company. I love their Walmart plus program. For $12.95 a month or a $98 a year, I can order a $0.30 item online and if it is in stock at the store, they will hand deliver it instead of having it shipped from their corporate warehouses. You also get free delivery from the grocery store. Walmart is truly a one stop shop, I do my banking, get my prescriptions, my grocery shopping, my durable goods shopping and even simple auto repairs. They offer many other services as well. They mess up occasionally, like every company, but generally, I just start a return process online and if the product is relatively inexpensive, I do not even have to return it. The credit is issued automatically to my lending company. Even better, if I call Walmart, they will frequently issue a five, 10, or even $20 promotional code to compensate for my discomfort. I do wish that they would offer a replacement for any problem order instead of just issuing a credit, but that is relatively a minor inconvenience. I believe that so many people have just formed a negative opinion of Walmart in the past and have joined the bandwagon that many refuse to admit it's a fantastic turnaround that Walmart has made.
Six months ago I had to stop ordering any canned goods from Walmart.com because every single time ALL of the cans I received were dented. Instead of wrapping them in protection paper like they used to do, Walmart.com now either throws everything loose in the box or puts the air-filled bags on top, which do NOTHING to protect the boxed items. Today was the last straw for me! My order arrived with one of the shampoo bottles stuck inside a hand cream jar where it caused a huge gouge on the side of the jar. I am so sick of this! I've repeatedly contacted their customer service about this and I even tracked down CEO Doug McMillon's email address and contacted him ~ I never heard back from him and all my complaints about the crappy shipping have been ignored because nothing has changed. I wouldn't recommend ordering anything from Walmart.com especially if it's made of aluminum or plastic because there's a good chance it'll be broken or dented when you get it.
The Walmart website sucks. I got logged out so I clicked forgot password, then it said it would give me the code, It didn't now I'm stuck logged out of Walmart with nothing to do.
I made an order on 11 Mar 2022. I was charged a delivery fee and a tip fee. When I checked out, the tip fee was not displayed, only said, "in processing". I had no idea or way to know how much that would be. The order was split in four trips. I have so far had 2 deliveries on the same date, within a couple hours apart. Deliveries were fine. They put everything on the porch and I received good information and photos of delivery. I've later received texts asking me to rate my driver and leave them a tip. I didn't have time at that moment to read it or address. Within a minute I received a message thanking me for my review and tip to the one driver.
The way they have it set up, it seems I will have a delivery fee and owe a tip for each trip. That isn't right for the drivers or the consumer. There is no way to contact walmart.com to get any clarification.
I do take into consideration that the economy is horrible mostly due to changes made from the white house and being short staffed with no one wanting to work. Everyone is hurting.
I will continue to watch my credit card to see what is actually charged on it. I may go to the store to ask for the drivers and hand them cash for the deliveries. But the most important, I've learned my lesson. I will not use walmart.com again.
I received my shipment in time and the package was safely delivered. I am so grateful to have chosen Walmart.
They ripped me off $104 when I shipped back a defective hoverboard and they claimed they didn't recieve it
I purchased for my 15 year old son a basketball hoop for Christmas from Walmart.com. I had it shipped because I could not carry it. And I also paid additional $99 for their handyman service to come out and put it together. Well it is obvious the handyman service just hire anyone. For one it took these two guys forever to put it together and the hoop fell and came apart I half. I called Walmart and they advised me to call the handy service back which I did they came out a week later Robert who works for the handyman service advised me the hoop was damaged and not put together properly. Now here is the fun part Walmart would like me to pay a restocking fee (the handymen threw away the box it came in. Not to mention I can't box it up due to the weight and the fact it is still half way together. Fed Ex came to pick it up but it has to be boxed. So I called the handyman service back I was hung up on three times, each time I was asked to hold and bam hung on. So here I am paid Walmart almost $300 for the hoop and $99 for the handyman service not even two months and this is how I am treated. I am so upset the such a large company like Walmart lacks good customer service. I am forced to possibly take this to my local news station. As if we have not been through enough as a country. I think this is a easy fix on Walmart and their handyman service. How could these people be so cruel to a child and to their customers. I just want my son who has been through COVID from no 8th grade graduation to enter high school on line his first year to have an outlet and be able to be a kid.
Unlike Amazon.com here at Walmart you're dealing with a third party, so you need to wait until the third party confirm that everything is ok for you to get your money back!
Return like Amazon should be auto populated, I have to chase down my return since does not show up any where. So not recommended.
I've had multiple orders shipped where everything is packed into the same box, and I mean easily squishable pills in the same box as a lot of clear American sparkling waters that crushed the pill box. I've had chip bags in with prune juices and the bag arrived wide open (thankfully it didn't spill!). So i've learned to make separate orders for things that should not be in the same box! Their packaging is... less than ideal. And i've heard from others that have the same experience.
However I can say one time I got 5 less waters than I ordered and when I contacted them online it was quick and easy to get a refund.
The website seems to be confused. I'll filter by "ship" and when I go to order, some things can't be shipped and I gotta readjust my order, because stuff they claim can be shipped all of a sudden can't when you go to order it.
So, Walmart isn't the best but I don't think they are the worst either. I've experienced worse.
