Failed to pick up trash on numerous occasions. Called customer service every day for a week. They ended up to be the rudest people i have ever dealt with in my 65 years of life
Request to empty bin fulfilled as scheduled. I called & left message on a holiday - very quick to respond. Customer Sales Coordinator followed up with an email.

Waste Connections is by far the worst waste company in Calgary to deal with - there is not a low enough scale to put them on - their management staff will do nothing to help resolve an issue - they charge for services like Fuel and Environmental charges every month whether they dump your bin or not - their auto renewal contracts are next to impossible to get out of - they require REGISTERED LETTERS in a very Specific time frame other wise you are renewed and stuff you and your company and there is nothing they will do for you - They even cancelled our service agreement via an e-mail and yet continued to insist that we were still under contract
We had been using progressive waste since 2017 which was bought out by waste connections and have received increases by 100% over the past 2 years without notice which forced us to look elsewhere. We gave 30 days notice of cancellation 3 months ago and this company refuses to pick up their bins, wont return phone calls or emails and continues to bill us. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY AS THEY HAVE TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!
I literally just want to rent a large dumpster because Im moving and YOU CANNOT GET ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE OR HELP! THEY CAN TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT YOU CANNOT GET ANY ASSISTANCE! THIER POOR EXCUSE OF A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT IS LITERALLY A JOKE!
We ordered a roll away to do some farm clean up. They were fantastic to work with and made it so easy to communicate and take care of our needs!

WORST TRASH COMPANY in Colorado. This is a huge scam, they raise my bill $30-40 every billing cycle I am being changes for than $100 over what I stated with. My neighbors who have been with them for YEARs pay half what I do, I have seen all their bills. Beware if you are a new home owner!
Customer service is trash, sit on phone for an hour+ and they are rude to you. I had one cancel my account and when I made my payment I was charged $40 to be reinstated... DO NOT USE, I pay over $700 a year for one bag of trash a week and recycling twice a month.
I live out in a small town and all that ever happens is they'll pick the trash up and then they'll leave trash all the way down the block as seen in the photo. The worst part is, its been happening the whole time since the first year I moved here. AND ILL GET FINED BY THE CITY IF I DON'T PICK IT UP! But isn't that why we pay y'all? To actually take care of the trash problem instead of just dragging our trash down the street? I'm sorry but yalls service is just terrible and not worthy of my money. I'm very disappointed.
This company should be reported to the BBB and and fined heavily for the brain damage of dealing with them. If you have a choice these guys are the absolute worst so avoid at all costs
My dad passed away and signed a contract with them in 2014 for 50 bucks
The contract is suppose to be over in 2019 but it has a clause where it automatically renews for another 5 years. They are taking advantage of us because of dads death. He died right when the renewal would have stopped JUST BEWARE THEY DONT TELL YOU ANYTHING ABOUT AN AUTOMATIC RENEWAL! In addition our ratew has gone up 80 percent since he died two years ago in November. Talked to many people and I am now dealing with a manage
I will let you know how this play out. PLEASE READ AND OPT OUT OF THE AUTOMATIC RENEWAL. I know my dad would have said no but he is dead and the original sales person is gone so they are taking advantage of the situation SO SAD

Answer: It's a legit company, but they have horrible business practices. No refund for 3 weeks of non service.
