The Wawa in on Lansdowne in Lansdowne pa has some of the worst cashiers I've ever ran across... Everyone knows there's always a breakfast, lunch and dinner rush. It's Wawa. It's busy all day, an if it's too much just to look up an tell another customer I will be with you in a second is so hard, then they need to find another job. The only words they know are next, next,. I'm so sick of this country an there unprofessional employees!
WaWa is a Canadian company that invaded Florida a few years ago. Not only are they quick, efficient, extremely clean, well lit, competitive in their pricing, they also provide free air machines for tires. Everything WaWa does is rungs above American companies. Our homeland companies could learn a lot of lessons from our north of the border WaWa friends.
Tip for consumers:
For a uplifting change, try out WaWa. Service and product as it should be.
This is my second in a series of reviews of stores along the highways for the traveling motorist.
WAWA comes in at a strong four stores. It is clean, the food is decent enough, it is predictable in terms of price and overall quality. It is not quite as nice as Sheetz, hence the four stars. I am always glad to see one of the beacons on the side of the road.
With a little more effort, they could be five stars.
I stopped by the WaWa on Orange Blossom Trail in Apopka FL as usual for my Sunday morning cup of Joe. I noticed that the decaf and several other cans were empty. I asked the young lady could she possibly make some more decaf and she told me that they stop making decaf at 12 o'clock. I left to go back the WaWa in Maitland to see if they had any decaf and sure enough they did. I then asked the young lady when they run out of coffee do they stop making certain ones at 12 o'clock and she explained to me that they stop making certain ones but the cut off time based on company policy is 2 o'clock. I was infuriated because when I stepped in the doors at the OBT WaWa it was only 12:30 that means that lazy Lima bean of a store employee was lying about the cut off time. Step your game up with more motivated employees WaWa.
I always stop by to grab some of sandwiches here. I like this gas station for its competency, price and customer-oriented atmosphere.
I go there frequently and I am never disappointed. One time a sandwich was not right and they remade it.
They charged me twice for one fill up and now won't give me money back... very dishonest and misleading
Have had some varied experiences here. But mostly I just come out of this store feeling crappy about myself after the way I'm treated, I'm not rude or anything. Quite the opposite (But maybe I should be?)
Now when I see the wawa logo or wrapper, i just feel bad, stressed out, sad. So many times I have come here, paid for their flavorless, overpriced food and dealt with rude employees. They look down at you.
I did try to contact wawa about it, completly ignored. I just really hate this place, Rude, mean employees, do not get me starter on (some) of the managers, one of them is a freakin psycho. Name starts with a P
I have been walking down to the dillapidated hobo and crackhead filled 711 and that place SUCKS just to get things like coffee now, because how unsafe I feel there far dwarfs how bad I feel at or near a wawas.
Also, they removed the Wi-Fi (that they advertise on their site, signs, etc) at my location so the homeless people would go away, wow. How dare them charge their phone while they eat food they paid for right?
Screw this place, screw this company.
IN short, this place makes me feel horrible about myself and I cannot tolerate being at or near one. I was just there and tried to score on one of their deals and had to argue with the employee to get them to recognize it (5.45 for jr. Joagie and side, they kept asking for ufll price). He was being mean before and he turned the nastiness up to 11 after that. BLEH.
Tip for consumers:
Don't try to return anyhting no matter how legitimate your claim might be because they will be total psychos about it.
Products used:
I have bought many things from here. Drinks, Coffee, Sandwhiches, Sides.
I have occasionally had flat drinks, which I was harshly attacked and ganged up on for trying to get swapped...
I often had issues with coffee being watered down, the manager hself told me it was an issue, and told me to just ask an employee to fix it instead of refunding or w/e. I tried, they didnt fix it, and I went on having more than hal;f my coffees being water and milk.
Food is just less than mediocre for how overpriced it is, like mcdonalds tier so. just so bland, feel like im eating something that was microwaved
