I tried to rebook flights using the stupid online form, which doesn't allow for any adjustments eg name change. This is the only method offered with no other way to contact them. Webjet have been completely silent. Their recorded message says they will address bookings that are imminent only, which means only accessing flights at last minute prices. It also means I might miss the airlines (Virgin) cut off for rebooking.
Book directly with the airline to avoid this hassle.
They took my money, then advised the flights had changed so that the journey became unworkable. They told me a refund would take 12 weeks (outrageous) and then after the 12 weeks passed, they made various excuses, and then said it would be another 12 weeks. Still no refund. I have reported them to the relevant authorities
In attempting to use flight credits (with Virgin), from flights cancelled due to Covid lockdowns in Melbourne, Webjet ask for submission of request to use credits. I have now done this twice. The first time, due to their non-reply, I booked my own flights direct with Virgin for $303. Eventually Webjet replied saying that they could not book me on those flights, AND that I would need to pay an extra $440 in addition to using my credit on flights that did not meet my needs. The second request was placed 12 days ago. As yet no response.
There is no opportunity to call anyone.
Their complaints email address is to an unmanned Inbox.
Their online chat eventually times out as no-one answers.
