I have cleared out over a thousand duplicate images, freeing up many gigabytes of room. I've transferred only the unique images from half a dozen flash drives, and in only one weekend have completed a task that I had been working at for months! Haven't had it long enough to experience the customer support issues mentioned here, but in my opinion the money was well spent for the time saved in cleaning up my pics.

Purchased the Duplicate Photo Finder software and they charged me $69.85 after bundling it with other programs and a two year license that I didn't ask for. They blew-off my requests for refund then argued with Discover when I made the claim there. Only so many hours in the day I let it drop. I never installed the software - might be wonderful or it could suck - I can only recommend that you don't do business with this company.

Hi Bernie, I'm sorry about your negative experience. I can see from your screenshot that you purchased Easy Duplicate Finder and chose to keep the Duplicate Photo Cleaner offer checked. The same goes for a 2-year license. If you didn't want any of the other items, you should have unchecked the checkboxes. But again, sorry for the misunderstanding!

Beware their con hidden in the fine print. They will sell your promo along with other crap utilities. In the end, their invoice price is triple what the promo price is.

Refunds are not given. Refunds are promised, but never arrive.

Worst bunch of software salesmen I have ever dealt with. Lost money. And learned a great lesson in how salesmen use the web to steal from the unwary.

While using eraser on a computer, this site was a popup, but I thought it was part of the
Eraser install. I order a 59.95 package. Next day I saw an 89.95 charge on paypal. Sent an email to their contact us area, never heard back. Wrote again 10 days later, still no reply. Filed grievance with paypal, a rude person called and said they had no email address so I couldnt have emailed them. They also were charging me for duplicate photo remover which I never ordered. I have no keys to use either program but paypal says I must pay because Webminds says I ordered this. What?
Despite pages of documentation of how lousy this company is. It is sad that a company like this is allowed to bilk the public when there are legitimate business out there, who make an effort. But they sure continue to send me their propaganda - like
I'd give them a penny!

HI, I haven`t also received a confirmation e-mail or a licence key, but paypal confirmed I have purchased a licence for Easy Duplicate Finder.
I have sent two support requests and so far no answer, but I got a "promotional" e-mail from them so they can reach my mailbox.
Is it scam or just very bad support? You know maybe somebody in an offshore support who makes you wait a week or more before sending the key.

P. S: the issue has been promptly fixed through this site. Raising the rating from 2 to 3.

Hello Fab, it looks like some users are not getting the email with the key. These emails are sent automatically and sometimes they end up in Spam. I'm sending you a private message to resolve the issue and make sure you have your license key.

Bought a copy of Duplicate photo cleaner because I was tired and didn't bother reviewing the site. When you install, it doesn't work, it pretends to scan and then gets to 99% and hangs there for days. Wrote to tech support and got a 5 word answer then nothing. Stay away from this software, it's a total scam.

First I was billed $70 for a $40 purchase. Contacted support immediately. I did receive a refund.

Then I used the software. Out of 30,000 files it missed 6,000 duplicates. I requested a refund on a new ticket. Was asked to try a second scan and that 80% is "pretty good" for a first scan.

Not for $40 it's not.

Refund has been refused. PayPal ain't sticking up for its customers anymore either.

DONT purchase from this company. TRASH.

Hi Luke, sorry that you're not satisfied with the software. Are you using Easy Duplicate Finder or Duplicate Photo Cleaner? If it's EDF, then 80% is pretty good for the first scan because the app has different modes that serve different purposes. And if it's DPC, then adjusting the similarity threshold can make a big difference. Set it to 100% and the app will only detect identical images in the same format. Set it to 70% and you'll get similar images in the results too. Hope this helps.

Downloaded and registered program received the activation code and when I went to activate the program I received an error message ERROR #******* and then tried to activate it by email. I received a couple of responses and did what the tech said and nothing worked. I kept emailing saying this is not activating the program and received no response after that. So then I began asking for my money back and still did not receive an answer or a reply as to how I could activate the program. What is really disconcerting is there is no phone number, the person (assuming there is on) never responded when I told them there fix did not work. I sent pictures of the error message and sent many emails detailing the problem. Sitejabber is my next step.

Eventually after opening up yet another ticket, I commented that I had written an honest review of their terrible service and that I wasn't going to let the matter drop. After that I received a speedy reply with a promise of a refund. Whilst I should never have had to go through so many hoops for this to be sorted and the service was dire, I am also happy to say the money owed has just been replaced in my bank account. Due to this I have given them 3 stars.

The company is a con, do not trust them.

I ordered the duplicate photo cleaner only, but got charged for a bundle including a download for something I have no need for and not even sure what it is! They took £59 out of my account instead of the $39 expected. I'm not sure of the exchange rate but they have basically stolen my money. I've been trying to get a refund for the item I did not order but they've started ignoring my messages. This company cannot be trusted. I won't let it rest but I shouldn't be having to deal with this. I will happily write an updated review should I ever receive the money they owe me back.

I purchased the upgrade from trial version to delete duplicate photos. I received my payment receipt but no license key. I have opened 2 tickets and requested 3 links to access my account but nothing back. No link resets, no tickets answered, no license key. This company does not reply to any requests but are quick to take your money. Very bad customer service. I feel like i have just been scammed.

I am hoping to get a refund, but I don't think it will ever happen! My Malware Bytes program put the "Retrieve deleted files" program in quarantine when I tried it to get my files back! I do not recommend this product!

I bought this product a few months ago and delayed installing it until recently. My computer began to have all kinds of pop ups. I took it to a tech place along with the CD from WebMinds and they said that there was all kinds of malware on it. So in addition to the inflated price $70 for the WebMinds CD, I was stuck paying for tech assistance. WebMinds did not respond to a request for a refund

I somehow clicked a wrong button or double-clicked a right button, and ended up purchasing two copies of one of their software packages that I needed only once. I wrote to them and asked for a refund. They confirmed that I had made two purchases and replied that I would be given a refund for one. After about two weeks of not seeing the refund appear on my card I wrote again asking for a status. I got a reply saying that refunds can take up to 10 business days to process. I waited again and then wrote again asking for a status. This time I got no response. I waited again and finally wrote again asking for them to please reply. Again no answer. I never got the refund. Stay away from this outfit.

I purchased. No problem. I received invoice. But no licence number to activate the shredder. I contacted them through their ticket system. I the mean time I gave up. It was urgent that I used the product. Not because of anything illegal. I used another company. Then I got the reply with standard garbage. Sorry, we have now sent a duplicate invoice with licence key. TO LATE. Asked for a refund. Not one reply. I have sent12 or more. I have now threatened legal action. I am a 70 years old and am not brilliant with tech. Good enough but slow. I told rhem this. But no reply. I will hound them now. Typical ignorant company. Get the money and forget it. I don't even know if shredder is any good. But one thing is for certain. Appalling service. SHAME ON THEM. I HAVE ALL THE SCREEN SHOTS OF MY TICKETS. JUST IN CASE PROOF IS NEEDED.

There is no way to unsubscribe and the emails just keep coming. All I did was look at the site. As soon as I learned that it was not a free service I moved on to a different duplicate cleaner but good old Mike just keeps sending emails and there is no way to unsubscribe.

Hi! All our newsletters have an Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Clicking on it will remove you from our list. Incidentally, simply "looking at the site" can't subscribe you to an email list - you must have downloaded our software and registered an account. That's the only way you could have been added to our list. Have a great day!

I have been waiting for a refund since September. I found the program too difficult to use so on the same day I bought it I asked Webminds to cancel and a refund. Got nothing but back and forth emails asking me why. I just kept telling them just to cancel. Then they said there would be a restocking fee for the CD. I never received a CD. I cancelled the order the same day I ordered. They said you activated the program. I told them naturally I wanted to use it. They can simply deactivate the key. I already uninstalled the program. All I want is my price of $69,80 credited to Paypal/Chase. My advice do not do business with this unworthy and difficult company. Not worth the aggravation!

EZ Duplicate Finder Not easy - Not for average PC user - I attempted to use this app, found it extremely difficult. When Help requested, no response received.

Deleted it and have requested refund - Hope they do not charge...

Tip for consumers:
Run the free trial - I did not do that, and posibly could have avaoided much frustration

I ordered the program and downloaded it OK, put it to work however it took approx. 3 hours to find the duplicate photos in a 1 TB Seagate HD. Then another 1.5hr. To eliminate the duplicates. As I said it does work, albeit slow.

I think that you have a damn cheek to suggest that all of us dissatisfied customers with your company made mistakes with our orders! Your Ad was quite clear. You offered a 75/79%? Discount on an application with 2 other applications offered for free! Where, for example, did I sign up for a 2 year renewable contract? How did my $9.95US order turn into a $36US order. If I ticked anything at all it was for the 2 free applications that your company offered. Anyway, I seem to have lost my money, I have dumped the applications you sent because of the bad reviews and I certainly will not be ordering anything further from you.

Be careful. This company offers a special download application at $9.95 US dollars and bundles it with other stuff not asked for and charges $36 US dollars. Berni C, in his review, suffered the same fate and, like myself, has been unable to arrange a refund. Another reviewer warns about using the application should you decide to keep it as it wiped stuff off his hard drive that he needed to keep!

Since the 25th December 2022 I am asking for a refund because the products are not working for me at all. The company is ignoring my request and is not answering anymore to my messages.

You cannot use the keyboard in order to check or uncheck quickly the files. You have to search every tiny checkbox with the mouse cursor in order to select the files to be deleted. It is not possible to review the files and select the files with the space or enter key.

Tip for consumers:
Do not buy anything from this company, they do not refund anything. They ignore your messages when you ask for a refund.

Programs have an unpublished expiry date after a year. You won't find this out until you've already purchased and go to download them. Hi Don, sorry you got disappointed by the expiry date. We do mention it in the FAQ. However, all our programs remain fully functional after the license expires. You can continue using the version you have installed for as long as you want. The license merely stops automatic free updates.

Thanks for the heads up regarding the warning - we're going to submit a false positive claim to Malwarebytes.

Charged even though I deleted the program (that did not work) and let them know. Spent over an hour on the phone with them. I ordered a program for $39 and was charged $69. Very dishonest company.

No response from the company. The phone number on their listings is not their own. The software actually worked, but I expected to pay $39.95 not $69.95. In case you need it, their real phone number is *******225

Why not respond to my emails and phone call, instead of here? I see now that the items were checked, as you described. My mistake for not noticing that I was purchase more than I thought I was. Your company could have been spared a bad review if you were responsive. I've changed your rating to two stars.

Hello Deborah, sorry for the confusion. The software was $39.95 and the rest were the add-ons selected in the cart. These add-ons are optional and users can unselect them before checking out. For these additional $30, you probably got another year of updates with a 75% discount and Duplicate Photo Cleaner for $19.95 instead of $39.95, an app to find and manage duplicate and similar images. Plus there was a free eBook in the cart that you can also download now.

I have most all of their products. I have never found them to not respond and always to be helpful. I always use email to contact them and they have always responded promptly.
I have never had any trouble with their products nor with support.
