My son and his fiance were to be married in July in Maine. They are both doctors in New York City- you can only imagine what their lives have been like. So.. the big summer wedding was cancelled due to COVID. Every vendor was understanding, refunded their deposits EXCEPT Ali at Wedding Angel events. She said she was very sorry but she had to keep her retainer. Keep in mind outside of a phone call she had done nothing but put this date on her calendar. SHAMEFUL! The kids are fine- they will marry quietly this summer due to their schedules and get on with their married lives. I just felt I needed to get this information out there. I did try to post this on Wedding Wire but the vendor disputed and my review was immediately pulled down. Also will share that Wedding Wire never followed up with me despite numerous calls to the company.
