I've used WYP w/reasonably good results for over 3 years. Until very recently. I would have given it 4. Now, my guess is they're making way less $ as a result of Covid-19. And it SURE seems they're employing troll accounts to accept offers so that you spend $ w/them to open a conversation. Which you then get a generic greeting, followed by the "date" totally ghosting. I know this has happened to me at least 5 times in the last several weeks. >>UPDATE 5/24/20<< I've had at least 4 or 5 more interactions w/phony profiles since I put up this review. In nearly all cases, WYP has reimbursed my credits spent. Still- whole lotta nothing. The site is lousy w/phony profiles.
I actually am familiar with one female on the platform but wouldn't pay to meet up with her. All the other females I made offers to were comparative on the level of attractiveness to females I've dated before getting married, now divorcing.
I don't believe that many of the profiles are real. I believe wyp is catfishing members into spending money on credits so we can message "female members" that initially accept an offer but then don't follow through to go on a date and collect the funds.
Last night, I offered a member $500 to see if she would follow on her initial, nothing.
As an attractive, successful man, I doubt the validity of the site.
In my very first contact I was up front about my paranoia and asked for a pic of her holding up a sign that said "I'm me!" I thought this was a bit over-the-top paranoid but I was absolutely right to do this as it's been two weeks and I'm still getting the run around... and not even from the same person... from time to time I get someone on the other end of the texts who doesn't remember a word of the previous convos... clearly they are using phone # spoofers and most likely outsourced shills. These people are crooks.
The people who run this might be the slowest of the slow. I've gotten my account suspended TWICE due to "an innapropriate photo." It was a selfie. They claimed I have "contact info" in it. Even if I did, which I would have censored it with the in-app blur option. They need to use their common sense and depicting skills to determine how big of a deal ONE letter to a tiktok name is compared to my full name and email address.
I do not mind their rules. Although the horrible part is that you don't even get a chance to fix it! These people dont even reply to support emails. Their staff and support team is horrible.
Its a good site if you dont make any minor mistakes.
The downside to this site is that sugar babies have pay to interact with daddies. When you decide to be a sugar baby it generally means you are not financially stable. By making babies pay they discourage babies who are new to the game from joining.
As for the male reviewers saying it's too expensive or they feel like they're being scammed because they have to pay the baby cash and pay for dates, ignore these reviewers ladies - they are not sugar daddies, they're what we call splenda's. I suggest they join tinder instead.
Anyway getting back to my review I find that the site is ok. Although the PPM rate seems to be on the lower side on here. The highest bid I received was £300, but then again that's just for the first date. I wouldn't recommend it though there are other sites that are free for babies.
I have been on the site for 2 years and not a big user, but every girl that favorite me to go on a date always fell through. The site would never reimburse for the cost of the credits and it got expensive just to hang around, so to speak. Most of the women on the site that did talk to me told me they found out about WYP when they were in jail. I actually did get to go on a date with a couple ladies but they did just for the cost of the date with no further intentions. I am not an ugly, stupid, fat slob either so the site is a gimmick to rid you of money and get 'favorited' by women that should be on a site for escorts; not attractive at all.
Good points. Get a chance of a date by offering money, and get responses on this site more than on sites like match.com and stuff.
Bad points. Cheapest date I've had was £80 and got a beer and a dinner date. No kiss, intamicy just a hand shake good by.
On the whole the richer men will have most look on here.
The site charges both parties "credits" that you have to purchase to unlock conversations. The higher the dollar amount of the offer that was accepted, the higher the cost to unlock the conversation. This is a complete ripoff. And for all that money you waste to unlock the conversation, there is no guarantee that the other person will even follow through and go out with you. And when the communication breaks down, or when the woman turns out to be a prostitute or "sugar baby" that is only interested in money, the site more than likely will NOT refund your credits. And make no mistake about it, 98+% of the women on that site are either prostitutes, sugar babies, or fake profiles that I'm sure the site runs for the sole purpose of having you use credits to unlock conversations and make money. If you want my advice, go jerk off then throw $50 in the toilet and flush it. At least you'll get off for your money, unlike the money you spend on this site!
I downloaded the app and it was fine. The app wasn't letting me receive text messages. Which I was new to the app so I didn't think much, although it said, I needed to verify my ID and to do so needed to pay 4.99. Good thing I didn't put in my credit card but I did put in a vanilla gift card that had 50$. For some odd reason it didn't work so I tried my other gift card with 100 on it and of course it went through for the hundred gift card. It said it would take 24 hours to verify me so the next day I checked I logged in, and it said that I was suspended from the app. It also gave me no way to try and get back in. So I thought it was really weird come to find out two days later I check the balance on both cards there's $45 on the hundred dollar card and three dollars on the $50 card. It is a total scam.
Good points WhatsYourPrice is trustworthy (it wouldnt still be going years later if it was a scam). Cheap enough too.
Bad points lesser known sites like HookupHangout outperform it when it comes to the number of chicks on the site and general usage of the site.
They suspended my account for pointing out a fake account. Sure, I wasn't nice, but the person took my credits and stood me up. Later, I found out the person was just trolling me. The website suspended my account and took my money.
This website allows Prostitutes. I met a few of them
They, the ladies, supposibly contact you. Then you buy credits to contact them. You buy credits, contact them then you don't hear from them. This happens over and over. But if you smart you know right away that this site is a scam. There might be one or two real girls on here but to get their attention? Needle in a hay stack.
I signed up to this site to see what it was about. I received some offers and was exploring before I decided to read some reviews. The reviews were all bad so I decided before spending any money that I would cancel. Well, I only signed up for a free account yet, I had to wait 10 days before cancelling. Oh and in that 10 days I received a TON of offers, but in order to see any of them I'd have to pay the site money to unlock the conversation - I'm guessing this is why the site makes you stay for 10 days. I sent an email to customer service to explain this and they responded with a canned message back to me. You can delete by... (well I couldn't it wasn't past the 10 days). It's like they didn't even read what I wrote. Anyway - most all reviews are bad and I have to agree.
This pathetic joke of a company still owes me money. You're a liar if you had sex through this website. I have files and files of evidence proving that this company is a fraud. If you had sex, than you paid for it and it cost 1,000k and you should be thrown in jail because prostitution is ILLEGAL
What a load of rubbish. Its all about pay pay pay and you will receive nothing.
Stay clear of this site. The girls are fake and all it is, is a free dinner and date for the girls.
You will see you money quickly dissapearing before you get anywhere.
As a matter of facts it is one of the best Sugar Daddy Sites I have ever used after SugarDating69. Seriously don't understand what everyone is complaining about and especially don't understand what everyone was expecting?
This is not a dating site or a site for Sugar Daddies. This is a site for pedophiles and young immature women who have no idea what this site actually entails. It's a shame that the police allow this garbage to exist. Human/Sex trafficking is what this site facilitates.
My friend found a girl who wanted money upfront. Then she wanted more money, or threatened to report him to the police. He didnt meet up, or send more money. He was reported for being a pedophile. He works with children, so was suspended from his job for 3 months, until police cleared the case.
Went on my first date from this site last night. I was so shocked at how attractive, sweet, funny he was.
Amazing first date.
In the end I couldn't accept payment, but I did accept a second date for next week.
I don't think this site is for me because I seem to feel guilty for accepting payment from a nice guy, but wouldn't want to date a jerk.
I won't use the site again, but got really lucky the first date :)
After years on this site in hopes of something g good, a waste of. Money. 4 dates that were 10 years older and 20 lbs heavier than posted. Once your credits run out you get winks from new girls that are local but really from 3rd world countries. Obviously a NYP tactic, sames as match.com. I have yet to have a good, sane female that wasn't down and out or on some drug... seriously. SA has been good for me, but NYP is all a money racket.
