I had a very unexpected negative experience with this company. After refusal to ship me an order in full that was made, they convinced me to complete a second order to obtain my items. I reluctantly completed the second order as I needed the items in a time crunch. To my surprise, I had my original show up in full only days later. I attempted to cancel my second order and they refused to cancel it. When the second order, which was unneeded and unnecessary, arrived damaged and wet I requested a refund and they again refused. Their customer service is poor with very condescending customer service reps - their left hand has no idea what their right hand is doing - I would recommend anyone considering this company take their business elsewhere.

Capable of excellent printing, but not always. If there's a bad run, all photos ordered are bad. Quality a concern on bad batches. They do not refund you, which is why I would hesitate to drop ship anything. Customer satisfaction gets them a low rating.
Tip for consumers:
They produce a good product most of the time, but can't count on them for drop-ship items.

Threw the whole batch of photos. They said they would only resend a new and improved batch. No refund.
I've had great experiences with this website when it comes to ordering photos, they arrive withing 6 days to south Cal. Even when ordered on a Friday. They come very well packaged and when compared in quality to other places the colors and textures look much better.
WHCC - Printer - I've been getting my prints done through WHCC for the past year. My Epson is collecting dust; I don't print myself anymore. I'm very happy with their service and quality - orders via ROES, accurate colors, well packaged prints, and fast shipping. They offer 5 8x10 prints to new clients, and they also include samples of their various prints (mmm metallic) and finishes.
I recently ordered a wedding Album from a local Photographer. He sent the layout to White House Custom Color (WHCC) for production. We were excited to give this to our daughter and her new husband for Christmas. However, when we received the album we very disappointed. On more than half of the pages the margins were uneven and the tops of the photos were cut off. It really looked BAD... so we contacted WHCC to discuss getting the problem resolved. The people at WHCC were less than helpful and at first tried to blame it on the photographer for the way the photos had been laid out online. When we showed them that all of the photos had been placed in the safe zone of their program they finally admitted that it was a problem with their cutting machine. After numerous phone calls WHCC finally agreed to reprint the album for half price, but would not guarantee that the same problems wouldn't happen again! I would absolutely NOT recommend White House Custom Color. These guys really don't care about customer satisfaction! Bruce
As a WHCC customer for several years, I have found WHCC to be the best lab for consistent color matching and print quality. As a fine artist I have stopped printing on my Epson printers and have had prints made by WHCC on metallic paper, Velvet Fine Art Paper and Metal for exhibition. The prints are the highest quality.
As a portrait/event photographer, the colors for my clients are outstanding.
Our photographer has stopped using WHCC because of the issues we have been facing. We ordered our wedding album through WHCC and the quality was horrible, their customer service was horrible and they offered no solutions to the problems.
When we received our album, the leather cover was already sagging at the binding, I have purchased notepads from big box stores with better covers.
Secondly, there were large black lines around nearly 100% of the photos, some lines were on two sides of the image, some were on three, some were around all four sides. The lines weren't even straight, some tapered off from one end to the next. Extremely dissapointed. They blamed it on the templates for the album- if someone uses THEIR templates, you shouldn't expect any errors!
WHCC didn't even bother contacting my photographer to let her know there was an error before going to print and sending. I work in print media and would never do that to a client, you always inform individuals of potential problems. WHCC has horrible customer service and client attention in my book.
As a bride, I can't believe that we paid over $400.00 for someone to butcher our wedding album. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
Will NEVER do business with this company again. I purchased a $200 gallery wrap that was supposed to be shipped to a customer by a specific date. They provide a program that enables you to create the print and shipment through the program. Because their program is not calibrated in size to their guidelines, I had to resize my image twice which took a separate day each time. The first time I processed the image, I included the address to where the wrap should be shipped. By the time the image was processed correctly, instead of sending to the provided address, they shipped to my home address instead.
To make matters worse, not only will my shipment not arrive to the customer on time, but instead of canceling the shipment or redirecting it to its correct location, I was told that I could pay half price for a new wrap but that it too would not be delivered on time. This is a scam to get more money out of me. This is unacceptable and not how a "professional" company should have handled this. It should have been done correctly the first time, and even though mistakes happen, it COULD have been done correctly a second time, but instead of worrying about the print arriving on time, WHCC wants YOU to pay for their mistakes. Worthless company.
WHCC is a full service professional photographic and press printing lab. We have production facilities located in Minnesota and Texas.
