I completely agree with Scott L.'s review of Whitehorse Pottery/Jim's Woodworks. My experience oddly parallels his story. Placed order in early July. 8 weeks came and went no contact and no product. Contacted seller and was told "it's coming along nicely" but no ship date. Now 10 weeks from order date 2 weeks past due. I contacted 3 weeks later was told "needed to make a new top, but would be done at the end of the week". 15 weeks from order date. Now 5 weeks past due. Requested a shipping number the next day or would submit a dispute with PayPal. He pleaded growing business and switching suppliers as the reason for delay. Even gave me name of another woodworking company that did same thing, although not the quality of his work. Told him I would would give a week to finish and ship then would submit a dispute if not shipped. 2 days later received refund notice from PayPal without filing dispute.
In my research, I discovered his company address with apartment number and another business that dealt in typewriters. Really? Typewriters? Scammer! Still going to notify PayPal of the scam.
