Wigsbuy.com and Wigsbuy online are based in China even though they have pictures of American models. They communicate only via email or chat and they promise that your wig will be custom made. The pictures of the wigs are from other companies and or US celebrities but do not represent the quality of the wig you will receive. Their main objective is to collect your dollars and give you an inferior product. They are horrible and their business depends on your ignorance. Do not buy hair, haircare products or anything else from China unless you go to a store and can see what you are getting. Myself and 30 other professional colleagues have been ripped off by wigsbuy. The wigs received were not even comparable to the wigs we thought we were getting. They tell you that they will give you a refund, but you have to come up with the shipping back to China which is close to 30.00 dollars and takes close to three weeks. That shipping costs (both what you pay upfront and what you pay to ship the product back will not be reimbursed). Once they receive the product they will find something wrong with it (i. E. you combed the product and we cannot resell. This is not the wig we sent you, etc.). It is best to avoid this company at all costs. Read the reviews of other shoppers. China's trade industry is not ethical in general and they love doing business with Americans who are naive as far as returns and refunds are concerned. I give this company a zero out of five rating. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I had to hire an attorney to get my money back. Thankfully I can afford it and the matter was one of principle to me. I ordered my wig not knowing it would be coming from China. They have already charged my credit card but I have not received my order and there is no tracking info. I have emailed them for order status... we'll see what happens. I noticed the question below regarding if the good reviews were real. I also question that since they are in broken English and it seems the reviews are either extremely bad or good... nothing in the middle or average... weird!
Ok got a wig from wigsbuy. Didn't realise at the time it was from China. It cost me £168 plus £13 customs charge. When I received it I was quite excited as I have a medical condition and very little hair. I ordered a short pixie cut wig. However the one I recieved was not what I ordered, it was too long and very frumpy. It was also of bad quality and very patchy at the back. It wasn't finished properly and came in a plastic carrier bag. I noticed when I made a complaint that they tried to change my payment status to waiting for payment. But above it it states when the payment was taken via paypal. I have tried every avenue to speak to someone but conveniently no one is available. Working in marketing there is only one thing I can say about wigsbuy, AVOID AVOID AVOID. An update if you purchased through paypal do not dispute with wigs buy, go straight to the resolution centre and make a claim with in 20 days I recieved a full refund, after showing them picture evidence and wigsbuy emails and false reviews. And what's more I did not have to return the wig, as I was not prepared to pay for two customs charges and the shipping fee for wigs buys mistake.

I received the wig I ordered from wigsbuy about 7 to 10 days after ordering it. I thought it would take a lot longer. It is absolutely gorgeous. The color was perfect, the hair quality perfect and the fit perfect. This is a great conpany and I highly recommend it.
Can't understand the positive reviews. I tried on wig that was $59.00 or so. It took a month to get here, I had to pay extra when it came for import duty, and they when I opened the box the color was orange/blond - not at all what I ordered. So then I put the wig on, tried to style it like the picture and it was not even the same wig as the cut was so much different.
Then I called customer service and they tried to give me $10.00 to keep the wig. I wanted to return it for the correct wig and they told me it was the correct wig. Then I asked for a return auth and they gave me one, but with duty out of the country and the cost of returning it - I was only getting $11.00 of my original cost back.
THEY ARE SCAMMERS and the reviews that are positive should be checked because I have found bad reviews all over the internet except of the YouTube videos that they target for Black women.

Ordered a wig for USD 300. Not heard from them or seen any wig in over 5 weeks. No response on customer srevice. Constantly on hold when trying to call!. What a rip off!. Please spread the word. This is a scam organisation that just takes money from cancer patients who need a break! Evil

I found the wig through a google search picture and then set about to find it on a site. I found it on several different sites for a great deal more money, and some cheaper, but decided to get it here. I have no regrets. The fit, color and texture are all excellent. I get compliments on it; even my doctor loves it and says she can't tell it isn't real. When I had a question, Fairy got back to me with the answer immediately. And for doubters, yes, I am a real person who, due to medical reasons, must rely on synthetic hair until some day, hopefully, my own grows back again. Thanks WigsBuy!
I purchased a wig here. I needed a large size wig. That is not easy to find in regular stores. Not only was it affordable but it looks decent. The cut is is on point and it fits my face appropriately. The quality appears to be good. I look forward to wearing my wig for a long time.
I got a high quality real human hair wig from this company for a great price. It was really very cheap than anywhere i found, and it's free shipping. I will buy another lace wig from here.
AVOID WIGSBUY. Scam! Scam! I ordered 2 wigs from WigsBuy and when the wigs came it looked absolutely nothing like the wigs advertised on their site. I contacted them and they asked me to send pictures to prove that it is the wrong wigs. After I sent the pictures, they said I should use hairspray to fix the wigs. After countless e-mails and pictures sent they finally sent me the return address. I returned the wigs and I could see from the online tracking that they received them and they refused to refund my money (US$166.00) They are just ignoring my e-mails. Now I am trying to get my back through PayPal.

Determined to get a half way decent wig I then turned to Wigsbuy. And big mistake also.
I started out with emails asking to show me a pic of actual wig as all the pictures they have on site are of real people with their own real hair ( not wigs)
I think they give a time frame of when will answer your email questions. Ya, right.
After waiting few days no replies so wrote again and again, no replies.
So stupid me bought a wig that was #613 which is very light blonde. I bought a cheap one as felt something was odd about the place not replying and started to wonder if connected to Wigsway as just seemed odd and felt something was fishy with no replies, and no pics sent of any REAL wigs.
I had to write Paypal to get a reply from them as paid and still no word.
That gave action. Two months of waiting for my 3/4 wig piece!
The piece was NOT blonde. It felt weird and was some kind of muddy brownish color!
#613 is almost a white color ( I have a synthetic hair ring and also a real hair ring)
I got a color that was nothing like ordered. So sick of getting robbed and fighting for my money back, I simply threw it away and said never again.
I truely feel these 2 sites, Wigsway and Wigsbuy are the same place or connected in some way.
You will get crap and in my case, not blonde. It was a crappy brown.
What a rip off!
Try emailing them asking for a real pic of the wig you want and see what happens.
These wigs are also all coming from China

These people are fake and full of lies. I ordered a $160 wig from this scam people and got a piece of $#*!. I had to pay an extra $25 to send the crap back to them to get my refund and when they do receive the wig they only want to do a partial refund. They are giving bull$#*! excuses that they had to pay for shipping, making the wig, bla bla bla. Is that suppose to be my problem. I told them I am filing a claim to PayPal so please people if you have some money to throw away I will advise you give it out to some donations or something.

These people are extremely unprofessional. I ordered a very expensive item from them and when they sent it to me it was the incorrect item. When I emailed them asking for an exchange they REFUSED to exchange them and when I asked for a refund they said they would only give me a percentage of my money back and I have to pay the shipping to send it back because they already wasted their money on making the product and shipping it but it's not my fault they sent the wrong item so why am I being punished for their mistake. If they would have just done the exchange they would have come out winning because I needed to order from them every six months but they still refused. This is unjust, they are basically robbing me.

This site/store really is a woman's love wigs best friend. The selection is huge and the prices are cheap. I don't get wigs from anywhere else.
I have been sick for over a year and losing my hair has been the most depressing issue. I have bought several wigs in search of a match to how my hair used to look and every one of them was a big disappointment until now. The wig I bought on wigsbuy a few days ago looks like my real hair, and my confidence have come back. Thank you!
Avoid this site like the plague.
Firstly, I paid for express shipping and opened a dialogue immediately as I needed the wig for work. They ignored me until I repeatedly chased them up and eventually issued a refund after constant emails as the wig was received three weeks after its expected date.
More annoyingly, the pictured wig is not what I received. I knew the pictures of people were false but the wigs are not the wigs they feature upon the order page.
I paid for a full lace front and instead got a shoddily tied two by six inch square of lace at the top front of the head. The sides were wefts (exactly what I did not want) and so thin that it by no means could pass as believable.
Throughout every instance they eventually email back, ignoring your concern and respond with "you understand".
They also denied me the ability to dispute my order. So much for costumer satisfaction being at the forefront of their concern.
Do yourself a favour and paint your head with glue then roll around a dusty floor. I guarantee the product would be better than anything you could order from here.

Answer: The positive ones are fake reviews. Standard English is butchered in these reviews. They also write things we would not say like "i recommend site to all my friends to buy." These bad reviews are the honest ones because they have no reason to lie and no agenda to put money in this merchant's pocket. The bad ones are assuredly those who HAVE paid for horrible wigs that are poorly made. They write these reviews for two reasons: 1. It is cathartic getting the scam off their chests, and 2. To help and warn others. It is a waste of time to leave an honest review to help others knowing people will not believe them! For what reason do they have to lie?
