I'm shocked to read a few very negative reviews, so I have to add my experience. I've ordered and received 5 wigs from this company in 2023. The first was a color that did not suit me so I returned it with no problems. With the next two, I had determined the correct color and I was not disappointed when they arrived. I had thought I might order two and return one, but I liked them both. A few weeks ago I found something on clearance that looked interesting. The clearance wig took a few days longer to arrive but it was in perfect condition and I was happy with my purchase. I've also done a "wig chat" to ask questions and I received answers promptly to help me narrow down my next choice. I am very satisfied that Wig Studio 1 is one of the best and most reputable wig companies in operation. I completely recommend them to all who read this review.

The company has been nothing but helpful. I can't imagine asking for more from a business. There is frequently a sale on the wigs I most often buy. Their customer service is there to answer questions and get back to you quickly. They are terrific. I'm a relatively new buyer and they make me feel more confident in making a choice that I will be happy with. But if I have to return something, my cost is very low. It's worth trying a style to find out it will work for me. I know I can return

Over the past year, I ordered 5 wigs and ended up keeping 4.
The quality of clearance items is questionable, there are no returns for those items, and Wig Studio 1 does not care if the item sent, was poor quality. If you want an ethical company that cares, choose another, this isn't it.
I have noticed quality of manufacturers has gone downhill. Wigstudio1 charges out the wazoo for restocking fee. They say they inspect them for defects but you'll never get them to admit it's a defect. You will always be charged for a return, regardless of fault. Then they try to threaten your ability to order after you call them on it. Like you're not ready over them. You should pay with Paypal (if you do purrchase) and file a case if needed. There are much more customer oriented online companies out there. They are not hard to find. Some only charge return shipping and no restock. Its a quick Google search. Stay away from these guys though.

When I order an open box item, my expectation, is to receive the wig I ordered, free of tangles, modifications, new wig smell, and a zigzag part, and that is NOT what I received with Rachel Lite.
I've purchased new and open box items from WS1, and there have been 7 major disappointments, 6 being wigs that never should have been sold as 'open box' items.
1. Nitro 16" - threadbare - I was new and didn't know better.
2. Three wigs in the same order that reeked of cigarette smoke - never should have sold them to consumers.
3. Estetica Ocean - a factory defect with a visible weft across the top of the wig giving the appearance almost of a 'part' but it was just a funky weft poorly sewn that WS1 deemed 'permatease' - it was not.
4. Bought an open box 100% hand tied Dalgona 16" - they sent a regular, made me take pictures and send it to them before they would give me a return label, and I had to wait until they received the wig and inspected it, to receive a refund that they offered as a 'one time courtesy'. If you send someone the wrong wig, that's not a courtesy, it's correcting a mistake you made. Since it takes 7-9 days to get a wig after you pay, then another -9 days for them to receive the wig, from order to refund, took about 30 days. I paid them and waited 3 days for a refund.
5.Rachel Lite - no zigzap part, a tangled mess, no new wig smell, yet the 'checklist' indicates otherwise - it seems they just check the boxes without checking the wig.
People, ladies, beware of this company! They take your money without even having the product in stock or without even knowing when the product will be in stock! They also do not post on their website what wigs/colors are out of stock because they expect you to email them and ask them if it's available! Who does that! What reputable website makes you email them to see if your toothpaste is in stock? Run! Hit your back button! Do whatever you have to do to stay off their website. They took over $420.00 and change of my money and told me they could not refund me. Lol "Could not", what business cannot refund a customer? I'm sorry but these people are comical to say the least.
But the big issue is, consumers unknowingly go to their website thinking they are reputable and believing (BECAUSE IT'S NOT POSTED THAT A CERTAIN COLOR OR WIG IS NOT AVAILABLE) when they place their order that it will ship out in a timely manner like any reputable e-commerce website on the net would, but NO! The product is not available and you might have to wait 2-4 months for your items.
AND here's the kicker, they charge you despite they don't have the product and don't even know when it will be in and their policy is... Drum Roll please... you cannot cancel the order! LOL Who the hell are these fail monkeys! Who are these thieves, I mean it's criminal what they do, but they protect themselves by having a policy that no one reads because most "reputable" websites would never post that they "cannot" refund you! Wigstudio1 you mean you "will not" because you're too cheap to reap the return fees! You make me sick, I have zero respect for your business, or lack thereof I should say.
People, run, hide, don't go there, they are cheap, money hungry grubs who don't give a rip about your (key word here) YOUR money, well, until it's in their hands I mean.

Tell it like it is, tell your story and how it made you feel. We are the consumer, we need to help each other by telling the truth. So tell the truth.
