Returned a wig as soon as I rec'd it and have not rec'd my refund. I left voice mails and several emails without a response.

I have been purchasing wigs from Wilshire Wigs for 25-30 years and have never had a problem. And I will continue to purchase from them in the futureā¦

The company charges you for items they do not have. They never sent a shipment confirmation, so I have requested a refund. Have not heard back. No item and they charged my card. Will not use this company again
Don't waste your money. Find a real reputable business that is legit. These guys are thrives, scammers.
I bought a wig from Wilshire wigs in April/2021. I did not get it washed and cut until June 2021. I realized then the hair texture is very rough and dry. I talked to Caroline from this business. She said she can not refund me but if i send it back she will send it back to the manufacturer. If they agree with my complaint they will send me a new one. If not they send the wig back to me. I sent to wig to Wilshire wigs on 6-26-2021. I did not hear from Wilshire wigs for a month. I called them on 7-26-21, talked to Caroline, she said she got the wig and sent it but did not hear from the manufacturer. She said she will call the manufacturer and call me tomorrow she never did, I kept calling many times. They never pick up the phone, there is always a recording. I left many voice messages. No one returned my calls. I left them many text messages on their website. No one respond to me. Two months have passed and i did not get my wig back. THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM, WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.
I've done business with this company in the past (last year), no real issues. Recently, I went to place an order for a product that I'd ordered previously on their site. I searched the item and when it popped up in my search (among other similar items) it had a certain price but when I clicked on my search result and went to the item page, the price was higher. I attempted to message them on FB but didn't get a response. Tried again and the person asked me what item it was when I'd clearly identified it (with item # too) in my question. I responded. Never got a response. I then called Wilshire Wigs and got someone who stated it was "just a glitch in the page" but I told her that this is very misleading, almost bait and switch. She assured me they'd look into it. I see this issue is not fixed.
I tried recently to ask about an item I wanted to order but they're out of the color. Would they get it in again? When? I tried emailing them on their website multiple times, no response at all. I tried calling and no one answered. I checked FB again and see that others are having the exact same issues. In both cases I saw, they'd ordered a product and either were sent nothing and charged for it or sent the wrong item and charged for that. In both cases, this company was non-responsive. We've all tried contacting them numerous times.
Recently, on a Monday afternoon, their web page was down for "maintenance." Odd that it was in the middle of the day, no?
I have made reasonable attempts to contact this company but they are not responsive and that is problematic. I would caution anyone wishing to do business with them to know what you're getting into-an expensive fiasco with an obviously less than legit business-and proceed accordingly. There are better companies on the internet to do business with; please take the time and make the effort to seek them out. You'll be very glad you did.
They take your money as soon as you order, not when merchandise is sent. Weeks and I heard nothing from them, when I called to check on the order, she said the item was on back order and I had an in-store credit although I had not been notified of one. I said I wanted a refund to my paypal account. She said she would issue one. Nothing... no refund. Im in the process of filing a grievance through paypal. I certainly wish I had checked out the reviews before ordering, I learned a valuable lesson.
Ordered a wig for my mother, who has cancer, approximately 3 weeks ago. At time of order, it said will be delivered 2-9 business days. Approximately 10 business days later I called about delivery to find out it was being sent to NY instead of OH. In their defense that was likely an error on my part, however I'm unsure how they could get a credit card transaction to go through with wrong state on order for billing address. After another week I called to learn location of wig and was told it would b delivered by Friday of the same week. On Thursday I get an email stating the product is back ordered. I called to inquire about it and was told it will now be August (5 months) before it is available. Very poor business practices.
I purchased 3 items from them and received 3 wrong items. I called them and they were going to send a return label. I never got the label, spent $25 to return everything and then even after showing them it was signed for they never replaced my order, gave me a credit or even had a good answer. This company is awful and I would stay far away from ordering anything from them. They are 100% under handed and I will never order from them again. S
Wilshire Wigs has a great selection. I was able to find a great wig from Envy. It arrived to me in about 4 days.
I ordered an expensive wig and products to care for it. The wig arrived with a foul odor. I considered just washing it and letting that go, but then the supplies arrived and I was completely shocked and appalled. The styrofoam wig head came BROKEN at the neck and stuffed into a box too small to contain it in one piece. I ordered full size hair products and they sent me the travel size kit. Didn't send the comb or wig pins I ordered. The wig wand looks used and was in an open package with powder dumped into the entire shipment! It was all dirty, sticky, and smelly. I've filed a complaint. Waiting for a response.
I have ordered from this company in the past once or twice and had no problems. Ordered a wig and paid with a credit card, which they charged within hours after my purchase; however, they did not send a confirmation E-mail. I called, not because I expected the wig so soon but wondered why there was no confirmation E-mail and no indication of shipping, despite the charge already being run on my card. I left a few messages--no return calls. E-mailed them, no response. Finally relentlessly called and someone answered. They himmed and hawed "umm, uh, well, uh, um, uh, that is going to go out today" (kind of like "the check is in the mail"). They then sent a "shipment notice" with no tracking info. As they are in L. A. and I am in San Diego, I generally have my orders in just a few days. When I questioned why they charged my card before shipping the merchandise, they replied "That's how all online companies do it" which is not true (they must think their customers are stupid?). I have ordered many wigs over the years from other companies and charge does not go through until shipping time. Waiting to see if I receive, and if not, will dispute the charge as fraud. Wish I had gone with another company but went with them because they were offering 30% off.
Hard to believe this company has been in business 52 years.
Wonderful experience with customer service. Brandon one of the Customer service representative was fabulous he actually contacted me twice and help me solve a problem with my order. I've never had nothing but excellent customer service with this company. Many thanks to Brandon
After 3 days of 'calling by phone' and leaving messages, I have come to one conclusion. No one ever answers the phone and no one ever returns calls!
This 'missing customer service' never bothered me when I lived 3 minutes away - I just walked in to schedule an appointment.
Am I now expected to make an 85 mile round trip to schedule an appointment?
Worst company to deal with. They don't answer thier phones nor do they call you back. I am waiting for a refund... never received my merchandise from February 24. This is March14th... they should be shut down..
I ve been a customer of WW for a number of years. We went in a week ago to find that my stylist and half the staff are gone. WTH happened? If anyone out there knows where Jeannette (the stylist) went please let me know.
I am thankful that I actually had a good experience with this business. I ordered wigs that were apparently back-ordered. I think it is great that they were proactive and credited my account immediately, suggesting that I re-order in a couple months when they are available. I respect their honesty.
Do not order from them! We ordered a wig for me before Christmas. They send you a confirmation and say you will be updated. They never up date you. They don't answer thier phones and expect you to leave a message which they never return. I've tried to cancle my order and no one will return a call. You never receive your products. They take your money as soon as you order. Its been around 2 weeks and nothing has been solved with the issue. Worst place ever, scamers not a real business.
I have been a customer for 15 years and relatively satisfied the entire time. In my last order, the wigs didn't work, but since I was traveling, I wasn't able to return them within 10 days. I returned them in perfect condition, and asked for an exchange. They told me they had an " iron clad " policy and they would not be able to send me the requested exchange. So now, they have 8 wigs that I returned, AND my $ 835!

Even after spending THOUSANDS of dollars with them, they obviously have no policy to satisfy their customers.

Answer: They are unreachable. I've tried as have several on FB. I'm assuming they're out of business but if not, they're circling the drain.
Answer: Try to contact them via email. Keep copies. When they don't respond, go to your bank and have them do a chargeback. That will take the money away from Wilshire Wigs and put it back into your account. Tell them you feel you're a victim of fraud. You can also contact the CA State Attorney General's office as well as file a complaint online with the FCC since it was over the internet. Good luck! Act fast though, you have time limits and WW is most likely hoping you'll just forget about it.
Answer: Don't place that order! Look at their reviews here and on the Better Business Bureau's website. Consider it a sign and Do NOT order from them.
