David had it right when he chose to pick up stones to load his sling to bring down Goliath rather than chance Winchester Ammunition!
Beware the discount ammunition and the rebates that are offered by Winchester. To receive a paltry couple of dollars off on any rebate program Winchester offers you need to go through more hoops and obstacles than your bird dog does to retrieve your quarry. And if you think you got a deal even after you manage to get that $5 rebate that you were promised 3 months later, it wouldn't surprise me that half the loads are misfires or stovepipes that ruin what should have been a pleasure outing. Invest into the decent ammo and pay the little extra. Enjoy your outing and save your firearms. If Winchester was the last supplier of ammo on the face of the earth... well I'm with David!
