If anyone else was lied to on the 49.99 for lifetime out there? My bill is $225.00 they said my modem was $100.00 well they sure never told me that when I asked when it was installed. 82 times today in 3 hours pc says no net service. I hae had them as my phone co. For 19years I will see them in court
Worst format ever! Difficult to maneuver. They obviously did not try it out first. Changing to another email account. Windstream needed to put their money toward something more useful…like upgrading our speed to what they say it is.

My company uses Windstream at a remote location, not by choice, but because they are the only ones in that are that offer dedicated internet service. At least once a month (if not more), they but fiber cables in the area, knocking our business down for at least 36-48 hours each time. Their support is non-existent. They don't respond to calls, messages, or emails. They just randomly show up when they feel like it to fix the issue, with no regard to their customers.
Horrible Horrible Horrible speed too slow you can not watch youtube or Netflix. Monthly charge is to high comparing to Comcast other providers. Horrible customer service ans staff.
Don, t ever make a mistake by connecting windstream.
Had them 6 months, already had 3 problems, no internet for 2 days because a tech made a mistake, down a week due to an accident, has taken payment but not applied to account, will be going back to comcast at least i never had issues with them
I have written reviews about Windstream Email services before. About how slow it is, about how 1000's of spam messages get through, even though they have a so called spam center that does absolutely nothing to block spam. I've mentioned the ridiculously high prices, and now comes the new format. Getting email was fairly simple but now navigation is difficult and it is cluttered by constant ads! ADS! I'm sick of ads! On the right, on the left, on the bottom, and yes in the middle of your messages! Do yourself a favor. If you can get a different provider than Windstream do it. Spectrum is available in the area and has affordable packages.

This Company needs a good ole class action lawsuit filed against them! I don't know where to start with this sorry $#*! company. I moved up near Helen Georgia out of Atlanta last year I have had hardly any phone calls out I have to leave the driveway go down the damn road to make a fn phone call, I've missed credit card payments cuz I can't dial the fuk out when I was ill for three damn months what the hell they suck $#*!. I always pay my bills on time always have what the hell these dumb-asses are Full of it! They're putting in a landline tomorrow why the hell are they still in business? Where's the damn lawsuit at. Kiss my $#*!!
Tip for consumers:
They lie and do shyt they say they're doing and don't do it.. This is ridiculous told me to go somewhere else but there's no way else to go.. Dish doesn't offer it
Windstream's telephone number from hell is *******991. I don't have to look it up, it is welded on my brain. AVOID ever dialing that number unless you want o talk to some foreigner who speaks broken English and is guaranteed to NOT help. They will refuse your request to speak to another agent or supervisor. If Windstream did not have a MONOPOLY in my area, I would have left them behind two decades ago.
I've been with Windstream since July and they have given me problems since then... I work from home but I've missed so many job opportunities because Windstream NEVER shows up when they are suppose to. The system is messed up I tried to pay for my bill that declined the first time tried to go back and pay it a second time then told me I didn't owe any money, then Windstream told me my service could be shut off. Then I was off of work for a month because I needed a second WiFi line and Windstream kept pushing the dates back which took longer for me to get back to work, then the technician didn't even bury the wire it's till just sitting out and it's been two weeks since my WiFi has been fixed. If I had better options where I stay I would not have Windstream at all they are full of bull$#*!!

I signed up for their service last week. Did everything for filling my info and billing. Even received text to confirm location address. After that the day finally showed up… but no installer showed up and I haven't received any call, txt or email. So I contacted there chat support over their website. They really did not help me much and only referred me to a phone number. After calling I waited for 2 hours listening 2 their awful call bot. Which was stuck on a endless loop saying the same sentence over and over again. "Thanks for calling kinetic by windstram." I then contacted there chat on site again and they finally told me they where very busy and to stay on the line and someone would help me shortly…. 4 hours later and now I'm only 30 mins away from there office closing…. So… I'm absolutely upset by this. How can they treat a new customers like this!?! What are they doing? They need to clean their act up or something. Something is horribly wrong with their support service. I hope a higher representative of windstream sees this review… because either they have someone who is lazy just ignoring support calls or they have a bad glitch with there robot system on there support phone. Whatever the case… it seriously needs to be fixed.

Honestly if u have other options available I might suggest using another service… I would normally not say something like this against any company… but I find is absolutely unacceptable to treat new customers to such a folly… this is bad business practice.
Having no internet is better than Windstream. It seems to function like a two-man operation. Customer service has hung up on me when I asked for the price.

Windstream sold me 50MBPs package knowing that the line going to my house could only handle 20MBPS (Windstream tech told me the line was to small)
I called Windstream to complain, they changed my package down to a 12 MBPS without my knowledge or consent. I only found out because I was still having trouble with my interent and had to call tech support once again.
I have another service coming out in 2 days
CAN'T DROP THESE GUYS FAST ENOUGH!
No phone. They tell me possibly a Tech will be out on Sept.the 14 th. Have been out of service of last week.
