My experience lived up to the other reviews I read before purchasing the Luxury Firm Queen mattress.

Good delivery experience, everything very simple and easy and we appreciated the updates.

We couldn't believe our mattress (which was delivered in ten days!) fit in the box that arrived on our porch, but it did! We didn't receive the special opener with our package, but with careful use of our trusty scissors we were able to get it opened and positioned on our platform. I really wish the mattress had handles. It was very tricky manipulating it around. I don't know how we will ever move it if we buy a new house. There was just a faint scent of ungassing, but that dissipated quickly. At first, I thought the SOFTER mattress would be too soft for us, and was wondering if we made a mistake and should have ordered a firmer model especially for my husband who sleeps on his back (I am a side sleeper). When we laid down we sunk in a little, which was a huge change from our Sleep Number bed that never felt good for me as a side sleeper. So we are still skeptical about the level of softness, and it has only been three days sleeping on the mattress, but the last three nights my husband hasn't snored (he usually keeps me awake impersonating a wild bore) and my back shoulder pain is going away. What at first seemed like sinking into the abyss, is now a warm hug that I look forward to. It is plush on top, but it is still firm and both my hubby and I are surprised at how quickly we are transitioning to liking this bed. I also like a taller mattress and I am enjoying the height. As a side sleeper, my old bed wasn't very firm along the sides, and I always felt like I was going to slide off the bed. Our Wink is very sturdy. The only thing I was disappointed in is the bedding collection bundle we received. The fitted sheet we received had a hole in the seam right out of the package and the sheets feel weird. They have an unusual grip that sticks to us. If I had paid for these separately, I would have sent these back. But as for the bed, so far I am loving not waking up to back pain! I was so weary of buying a mattress without trying it out, but so far the experience is surprisingly wonderful!

We unboxed our Winkbed last night, so this review only has one night of sleep's worth of experience, but so far, so good! Very comfortable mattress.

Found one to try before purchase but actual mattress seems a little firmer

When I first got this mattress (January 2021) the firmness in support under my hips was perfect I rotated it as suggested but after about four or five months I noticed it wasn't as supportive in the middle as it used to be. After taking off the sheets today I noticed just a little dip in the middle. Under pressure it goes down a little more, but not enough to be considered bad. I'm very tall and weight around 220 lbs. Its just that I have a very bad back and I can notice this slight change in the mattress. I think I'll look for something to slide between the box springs and mattress to help raise up the middle section and see how that feels. This mattress is a little firm for lengthy side sleeping, but very good for stomach and back sleepers. I'm a stomach and side sleeper so its difficult to find a mattress that is good for both types of sleeping. This slight loss of support in the middle is causing me to toss and turn and have more back pain. What it looks like what happened here is the form has compressed overtime this is a very common problem with mattresses.
Note: I read that Winkbed uses 1.8 density foam in the top comfort layer above the latex layer. Even though this is better quality foam than some companies use, if they used a more durable high resilency foam, say around a 2.5 to 2.8 density (even with the same firmness rating) the top comfort layer would last at least twice as long before compacting. This of course would put the price up a little, but it would be well worth paying for it. I know I would.
Update: I recently put two 30" x 40" floor carpets under the middle of my mattress above the boxspring.
This has restored the mattress to near original shape
The problem I found is that the mattress has extra support around the edges and the edges don't sag when the middle does
I also installed a mattress pad to soften the mattress this allows for more comfortable side sleeping and I can still sleep on my stomach

Shopping for a mattress online is nerve wracking, but couldn't be happier with my purchase. So comfortable, it's hard to get out of!

I'm waiting for a bed frame from a different (local) store so I have not opened the Wink box yet.

Asked if it was ok (unharmful) to leave the mattress in the box for a few weeks while awaiting the frame and the answer was yes it was ok to leave it boxed for a few weeks

The bed is very comfortable in the few weeks I've had it. I am sleeping much better than before

It was difficult finding weight and size dimensions for a murphy bed mattress anywhere online, but Winkbed site had it all listed under FAQs.

Kept wanting to give me a second deep sleep bundle. Took 3 tries to get it fixed. Silly!
