Worst car rental company ever!

Car Reservation Confirmation- Worst experience ever.
Many months now we have planned our journey to Paris from Greece. To facilitate our travel plans, we have a confirmed car reservation under the reference number #*******, which was secured on 26/04/2023 through wisecars by Alamo and we have paid an advance 26/04/2023 when the reservation was confirmed.
The pick up for our reserved car was on 12/08/2023 at 10:00 a.m. from Paris Gare du Nord Railway Station.
Yesterday 09/08/2023 the last minute of our planned journey we have received a call and an email from wisecars and we were informed that our confirmed rental by Alamo through wisecars is no longer available.
So actually the last minute you cancelled a confirmed reservation without providing a solution for a mistake that you are fully responsible.

You are the worst company with no respect at all for your customers

Low prices and high-quality customer service!

I have used Wisecars several times, I have always received a very good deal, their prices are much lower than other providers, even lower than renting directly from the car rental company. I've also always received help from their customer service when I've called or written. I've even had to cancel my rental once and then I got a refund very quickly, in about 4 days the money was back in my account. I dare to recommend Wisecars to everyone!

I searched car rental offers for my trip and it directed me to Wisecars website. There were many categories and lot of car providers so it was quite easy to find out the best deal for my needs. Prices were also very competitive. Overall the experience was awesome and will use them again.

OK not great

The contract phone didn't work to arrange the shuttle.
Had to hang around at the airport for an hour waiting to be picked up.
The motor on the car didn't run very well.
Credit card refund if deposit took a long time.

Please note that Wisecars is a car rental broker that offers car rental deals, Wisecars works with internationally recognized car rental brands, in this case Ace, we will contact Ace and address your concerns to them as well, regarding car engine not working. We try to make refunds to our customers as quickly as possible, but unfortunately, bank-to-bank transactions sometimes take longer than we would like.

I used them in Kauai, Hawaii to rent a car from the airport. They put me on to Dollar Car, the company that provided me the car. I had to send Wisecar reminders to provide me the contract which was sent only 24 hours instead of 48 hours. I stood in the queue for nearly 2 hours as I had already paid for the car. Wisecar could have advised that I could go through the paperwork by registering with Dollar on the internet. This would have saved me waiting in the queue. I would not use them again. I suggest that go to Dollar directly and register with them while on the islands of Hawaii.
They seem to have self rating system as I could not add this review on their website

Overall, I am quite satisfied, except for the additional costs.

I booked a car with Sixt for 3 days, as the offer was quite affordable, so I booked it right away. However, when I was in Scotland, I had to pay a location fee and a young driver fee of 300€ for the 3 days. In total, the car cost me 600€ for 3 days.

So, it wasn't a bargain, but it was not more expensive than other providers in general.

The car was as expected from Sixt - very new, clean, and with good service.

Do Not Rent from Wisecars.com

Do not use this car rental agency. They will not stand by you when their supply chain fails to meet your needs. Pay a few dollars more because you truly get what you pay for folks.

All rates and policies are subject to variation from company to company, and each company's performance is cloaked behind the veil called Wisecars. If you were to use this site effectively, you'd need to sleuth every rental option with a fairly specific Google search to understand what you're getting yourself into.

Our flight was late to arrive, and the rental car company decided to close before allowing us to pickup the vehicle. Apparently, for this branch of this company, this was par for the course. Neither company would help support my family as we were stranded at an unknown airport in an unknown place in the middle of the night. No options to get a car, and no refunds.
