Woman Within is sitting on hope that plus size women will not find alternatives. I called to check on a back order today. First rep was very difficult to understand. She sounded like she was slurring her words as well as her accent. The accent did not bother me the slurring did. She tried to verify each item in my order. I explained the automated system already did that. I just wanted to know the delivery date. You she got attitude with me, and said I should have gotten an e-mail. I did not. She asked my e-mail. I asked her nicely to spell it for me. She got really rude "it's your first name." Her tone was really not nice. I responded in a tone of my own, without yelling. She hung up on me.
I called back. Got someone with a good tone, phone and she was understandable. I told her my complaint. I asked her when the order might arrive. She told me the middle of June. I said no way, I am not waiting three months for something I ordered in February. I can cancel the order. I said yes but you cannot use my preferred payment method. She said yes that is right and recited the payment methods she could use.
She cancelled the order. We ordered different colors of pants. I used my credit card, then she says " For your inconvenience I will give you free shipping. 23.99 or some outrageous fee. I said no, I already paid for shipping on this order. I paid shipping on the order I got in March. You are not giving me anything. I want a discount on my order and free shipping. Well, first she says that she cannot add free shipping and a discount. That she can give me a discount then note the order for the "Back Office" to credit me 20%. However I will not get that discount until the order ships. No way, I have spent enough time, been disrespected and have been a customer over 20 years now. I want this resolved now. She said she would ask her supervisor. I do not think she did, because she came back quickly saying she got the free shipping in and is applying a 35.99 discount as well. During this she says I am giving you 40.00. So my total was 74.00 and change. I gave her my card information. She says you will get an e-mail verification. E-mails have always come quickly in the past. I check. No e-mail. She says you can write it down. I do. I ask again how my e-mail is spelled. Sure enough my last name was missing a letter. She corrected it again referencing the "Back Office" will update it. She then tries to upsell me. I stop her. I have wasted an hour and a half once more. I called late in March and that rep evidentially entered my e-mail incorrectly. Told me my order was due in May.
I do not feel so tolerant of things like this any more. It happens too often.

No, I do not have a receipt or confirmation to share. I did not receive one and was simply told to write a number down.

I purchased the same style pants in colors I already have. I had to bill my credit card instead of my Pay Pal account to get free shipping or a discount.
