After the sale I had to contact Worthy two times as to where our money was. Although you are told it would take 10 to 15 days, our money took a bit longer. We bank with an international bank not a local institution so the length of time was unnecessary.
I sent in a ring and a necklace to sell. They had me take a picture of the ring and send it to them. In none of the communications did it say that the items had to meet their criteria to sell them. I mailed the items the next day and the day after that, I got an email stating that my items are not the kind of items that they want to sell. They had not even seen the necklace yet. The items arrived at their location and the next day they sent me another email stating that there was not enough demand in their marketplace to sell my items. They wanted to return them to a staffed fed ex location two hours away from me. Went thru all the rigamarole to get my items sent back to my home address. Would not recommend them unless you have very high-end jewelry. Apparently, that is all they are looking for. They should screen items better to save people time of sending their items in.
From start to finish I was guided on the process of receipt of rings to photos and grading as well as auction setup. So happy with my sale!
I was a little disappointed in the sale price but overall the process went smoothly.

They lost two of my rings in transit and refuse to provide any documentation or to give me the fair value for my rings. It's been almost six months of an absolute dumpster fire. They won't respond unless you hound them, and they talk down to you when you try and get any information from them. They're supposed to have insurance for jewelry when you send it in to them through FedEx and then separate insurance to protect your jewelry through the whole process, but the way they're reacting it making it sound like they have no insurance at all. It feels a lot like they only have one or two employees and that there's no actual professional working with or for them. I never saw a gemologist report from the ring I first sold with them, even though it was supposed to be provided. And now magically my information from the one ring I sold with them last summer and the information on both of their rings has been "accidentally" deleted from their website.

As a reminder, you can still view the FedEx tracking ending in -0711 on fedex.com to confirm that FedEx initially received your package. Unfortunately in light of there being no additional movement on the tracking, FedEx ultimately concluded your package as a loss after they were unable to locate it.
Although it is extremely rare for a package to go missing while being shipped by FedEx, we have insurance coverage in place for this very reason. Our insurance policy provides coverage reflective of the services we offer. As pre-owned jewelry being sold through a secondary market, jewelry is eligible for coverage up to its current resale value. Documentation such as a detailed purchase receipt or a grading report highlighting your jewelry's unique characteristics greatly help in substantiating the claim and determining an accurate resale value range. It is important to note that you were requested to provide any available documentation however we have only received photos of the two rings you indicated you shipped to this point.
When reviewing your past communication with our team, we can confirm you were advised of the steps we would be taking to investigate the concerns and to assist you further. In light of the severely limited information available for your jewelry, this did influence what steps our team could take. We're sincerely sorry if any past explanations did not thoroughly address all of the questions or concerns you've had. A senior member of our support team will be following up with you directly to discuss this further and determine the most appropriate path forward in getting it resolved.
