My experience with this website is positive. I am quite satisfied with an option to work part-time and earn for my living once I need it. Easy-going platform interface, comfortable conditions and rules. Like their orders and the way they provide info and support.
I have completed all the tests and submitted education certificates. In a few days, their manager, Angelina, contacted me and requested a photo of my passport. Even though it is not a governmental position, but an illegal ghostwriting service, they still require numerous documents. The next day, Angelina rejected my application, stating 'experienced managers found the document is altered.' However, my document is absolutely legal and can be checked via official checkers. Angelina refused to provide an explanation. When I offered an official governmental check of my document to prove its authenticity, Angelina disappeared. I found: 1. The company is illegal and gathers documents for illegal purposes. NEVER send them your docs. 2. They operate under FAKE names! Just check their LinkedIn profile: the location is Ukraine, the registration address is Cyprus, while they claim to be from the UK. 3. AVOID them; otherwise, they will steal your documents. I would like to thank Writerbay for regular payments. I always receive money during the payment period indicated on the website, there was not a single case of a delayed payment. Plus, you can log into your profile and check all the actions towards your balance, everything is highlighted. Once I joined the website it was quite difficult for me to get used to the specifics of work and I literally worried about each and every order completed by me. But after some period of time I created some schedule for me, understood how much I could earn and which orders are good (I do like working on orders for more than 10 pages, it gives me time to think and complete quality work). Now I work full time here. As for the order mentioned, I do remember it, it was quite a long one which I completed for more than 1 month, but it gave me good earning, enough time and good practice. The good thing is that you have specific deadlines, so you can properly manage your workload.

Good webite, I work remotely from any place I like and I work part-time, not every day. Pricing is acceptable, work conditions are satisfactory. Sometimes not so many orders to select from, but for me it is not so crucial. Good to work here and receive timely payments (2 times per month if completed enough orders).

Messages with clients are very convenient to use. You can double check info your client sent you once you need it, it is much better than if you communicate with clients via chat (as on other websites). Each order has its line of messages. For me it is important cause I have up to 7 orders simultaneously sometimes to complete and it's crucial not to mess up any info.

My journey at writerbay took its starting point approximately 1 year ago when my friend advised me to register since I needed add income. Firstly I took a couple of orders only per month but after I got used to the specifics or work and requirements needed from me I started to take up to 5-6 orders per week. Please be informed that verification step is of an utmost importance since we do not tolerate fraudulent activity and we do care about security of private data of applicants and third parties which can be involved in selling/buying schemes that violate our rules and Terms of Use. Each applicant has to and must check all the regulations and conditions stated on the website to make sure they do not contradict applicant's apprehensions. Also, it is a usual situation for many companies to ask for verification documents and such a procedure never calls a negative reaction, only if an applicant wants to cheat and perform fraudulent activity.
All the required steps and documents needed are listed on the main page of the website and are clearly stated in our Terms and Conditions. Management/Support can ask for additional information/verification documents in case of a need during an application's check:

By providing an altered document you violated our Terms of Use and as a result, your application was declined. After rejection of your application you received an email with the reason of decline, so all the actions of our Manager were performed in a correct way and as per rules and directions of the company.
Additionally, I would like to highlight that we have our own software which checks documents and prove their authenticity, that is why we never accept any checks from third parties which can be also altered.
The only possible way for an applicant to get accepted is to register for free, complete an application form, provide valid documents if requested and get checked for approval or decline. What is more, we are not storing documents provided by applicants/writers and we do not use or share them with any third parties:

Furthermore, we operate with people from almost all the world and all the information about official registration of the company can be checked in Privacy Policy on the website. The screenshots you provided only show official emails sent from one of our Management representatives.

You provided unsupported information about some fake names, stealing of documents and illegal activity based only on your point of view and not connected to our business. I recently discovered the potential of freelance writing as a part-time job and decided to give a try to several sites where they post writing tasks and projects. Writerbay was one of them, I've registered in September last year when I did not have my hands full with my full-time job, and I felt like it was an opportunity to try something else to complement my income. Out of half-dozen sites I had got involved with initially, I later on quit most of them except for two, one of them being writerbay. I like to take orders with longer deadlines for weekdays and the ones with shorter deadlines that have higher pay-rates for the weekends. It's also cool that I can work whenever I feel like it since there's no quota for the number of orders you have to complete. There's also no harassment or offensive replies in chats or messages in contrast to what I encountered on certain other sites that employ freelancers.

I had been working on this platform for many years now. Completed hundreds of orders, had a rating of 4.3 (which is very good). Completed my last order with a 5-star review and a bonus but they terminated my account with simply one email that my work quality has not been good. I got a message from a recruiter on LinkedIn about WriterBay. Just so you know I was ON MY OWN but i thought that "hey, why not give this a try?", because I have written a few academic articles and technical documentations before and it felt really good to share knowledge. So I signed up, passed all tests and submitted necessary documents, only for me to get rejected without a specific reason. In conclusion, It could be a waste of your time and it might also not be but for me, I am giving them a star, don't invite people to apply for something on your platform that they don't intend to and then reject them without giving specific reasons.

I need to talk about WriterBay cause it was important to get the word out before people tend to waste their precious time on this website. To introduce myself, I am a final year law student at a premium law school in India. I applied for the registration process at Writer Bay and the Support team rejected my application. I appealed saying they should reconsider my application. But Melanie and her managers thought I "modified" my "diploma". I was honestly surprised at the sheer ignorance on their behalf. First of all, I get a Bachelor of Science, LLB from my 5 year integrated course. Secondly without zero proof and sheer stupidity, Melanie thought it was okay to blurt out that I forged my Mark sheet.
I would gladly produce my mark-sheet if need be. This is the level of unprofessional-ism in the 9-year old company. Shame on them.

Good Lord how lucky I am to communicate with their representatives before I got here. Lauren was actually super nice and helpful. Honestly, I can't even imagine some posts below are real.
I have now passed all the introductory parts and got approved, so now I can tell you my thoughts: they are not perfect for sure BUT their team is amazing. I cannot imagine someone from their representatives acting like Frank said. I wrote him a personal message asking whether it's a true story or it was made up and now waiting if he replies at all. Lol

WriterBay has requested an excessive number of documents from me during the registration process, and I've already provided four different types. Do you also need documents for my flat and car? What kind of company is this? Has anyone reported them to the police regarding their legitimacy? Has any investigation been done on this no-name company?
P.S. This company even misspells its own name here as 'Writerbay' instead of 'WriterBay.' And they claim to be a professional writing company? This seems very unprofessional!

We strive to hire applicants who show high command of English and those who are not involved in fraudulent schemes. But it is always up to an applicant if to provide additional information/documents or not: you can stop application process and ask for your account to be closed if you are not convenient with our requirements.
