Hi, I'd like to share my story: I've been working with the Writerbay for about a year now. I don't do much writing, but do take orders from time to time. Actually, my beginning was not smooth as I did get a couple of fines at the beginning. Obviously, I felt discouraged and ready to leave but after several talks with their support agents, I decided to give it a go. I reread that paper that I got fined for low quality and to my surprise, it actually wasn't that perfect as I imagined in my head. This is what changed my mind and made me realize that it's not Writerbay responsible for my fails but I am. I made mistakes, I should learn from them.
Thats all I wanted to say.

Ridiculous amount of work and pressure, unfair fines and behavior by management, highly disrespectful, unrealistic expectations, manipulation of salaries. Oh and they plant positive feedback

So far I have worked with three different writing companies. I have tried signing up with WRITERBAY three times but my application rejected. That means three years without qualifying. Let me continue perfecting my writing skills. I will keep on trying as they told last when my application was rejected, maybe they will consider next time.

As I went through so many reviews most of them complaining that they barely get any orders after applying for them and the QAD selects upon favouritism. I completely disagree with it, because as a beginner u do have to wait a lot for getting orders assigned, but with the passage of time there comes a time when u start getting orders regularly. There is always the option for auto-take, in the beginning even I only got orders which had the auto take option, but now I have started getting other orders as well.so my experience is very good with the site and I would recommend others to apply as well because it indeed is a very nice place to earn.

As for me, WriterBay gathered all the benefits of the freelancing job: working home conveniently, nobody disturbs you, nobody argues with you on the ground of your work. You are the Boss and manage your schedule, you influence your own salary. That is awesome. If you work more you earn relevantly. This place is almost ideal for me.
There is only one thing that makes me sad from time to time. It's the competition. Sometimes it gets difficult to receive the project and you have to wait for several days to catch it. Although, it seems more friendly with their Application and especially Telegram, as you receive all the notifications right there. Good implementation, staff!

I've never used WriterBay, but I morally object to a business that purports to assess the abilities of writers when its own home page is riddled with grammatical errors. I have been a self-employed writer for many years and the WriterBay business model looks and feels extremely exploitative of writers' talents.

I remember working with this company a few years ago. It was great. I got a very nice experience by working with is company. It helped me grow. Unfortunately, I got my account terminated almost two years ago. I would love to work again with them - they treated me as one of their team members.

I have been writing for Writerbay since May 2011. At first I thought it was not a legit site but after receiving my first pay, I knew it was not a scam. Since I left my job, Writerbay became my sole source of income. Aside from a good source of livelihood for me, it has also been a learning experience. Since I started writing in Writerbay, I learned a lot about different subject matters, from criminal justice to management to economics. Writing for the company is a good exercise for my mind especially since I do not have a permanent job. Although the rates are lower than other academic writing sites, I still appreciate the time I spend doing researches to complete orders.
I plan to work with Writerbay as long as I am able to think and use the computer. I just wish that the rates for writers who have stayed with the company are higher than those who are just new in the business. Loyalty has a price too.

One of the best writing company, however, many of my writing struggles are a result of either an unresponsive support team or one who insists on their rules, without bothering to check the requirements. Of course, they have to check the submitted papers based on the guidelines, but some members of the support team do not check the paper details. They insist on sending the paper for revision, even when it was properly completed based on the client's requirements. At least give your writers, especially those who are already expert in their field, the freedom to complete the paper without the need to be checked by your support team. This is especially in the case of new members of the support team, as they are the ones who often give unnecessary headaches to writers who know what they are doing. I suggests that you let the writer and the client communicate, rather than letting the support team get in the way.

When I joined Writerbay.com I considered it to be my option just for extra cash. Now it is my full time job an I can't imagine my daily schedule without checking recently published assignments at Writerbay.

Their standards are quite high, although fair enough. It's a good place for freelancers or those who dream to get rid off 9 to 5 jobs.

The system is not easy for a newcomer and it takes some time while you figure out how everything works.
Good thing: they have a mentoring program. Mentors patiently guide newbies. That makes you feel important:-)

It's not a bad place to practice your writing skills, as long as you pay close attention to details, and are willing to work with a customer service staff that may or may not be as proficient (in writing or speaking) English as you are.

If you are proficient areas where there are fewer professional opportunities for earning, this isn't a bad gig (again, if you are willing to watch the details). It is difficult to get rich with this gig, but it can produce a little spending money.

A bit unethical to write for other students but this is life. Striving to work and study simultaneously I found this site quiet helpful. I arrange own schedule and write from time to time to pay my bills. Would recommend for those in need of a part time job.

I have been with writerbay for 5 years now. Although I have ny own share of lapses, I am believe that I develop more as a technical writer because of my tenure with writerbay. Before I was only doing it as a part time job, but I realized that the site offered me more fulfillment compared to my day job. I am now doing this full time.

I've worked with WriterBay off and on for a few years. As a writing professional, it's a great way to pick up some extra funds along the way. It can be hard to squeeze it in to a busy schedule and sometimes customers want instant revisions and the emails can come in with notifications about the revisions when I have a full day planned or am even asleep. If I have time to solely dedicate to working, I don't mind it at all. If I have other things come up, like when my computer crashed, they really weren't super understanding. They can be a bit slave driving and not reasonable with time frame. If you aren't available RIGHT NOW, you get stupid fines for even being 15 minutes late

Oh, well. I can see that writersbay has changed their website and facebook design. It was strange for me when i first saw it, as i really got used to that dark green color. But the new one in just amazing! Writerbay became more fresh and up to date. I believe that in the core of these changes there is a storng desire to improve the services and make all the employers satisfied. Keep it up!

With writerbay, I can do whatever i want in my life. This is my second job, and firstly I took a few orders per month. But then I realized I can do more and earn more! I am traveling a lot, because I can work from any country and I have money to do this. Guys, be realistic, Writerbay gives this opportunity!

Customer service is unhelpful, and when they botch orders, they lie and blame it all on the writers, which results in penalties to the writer. They look for any chance they can to steal your money, even if you work hard to complete the order. Their staff, if they have a thing about you, will do everything they can to interfere with your order. They try and force you to work for free, and when you don't comply, they penalize you.

They make the customer pay for revisions under certain circumstances. They charge the clients for the revisions, but then bully the writers into doing the revisions for free, threatening them with fees for not completing the revision or closure of account. It's about the type of behavior that you would expect from a company with its headquarters from a third world country They think that they are the only company in the entire world who hires writers, so they run their company with a sweatshop atmosphere. The revision policy is just one of the ways they rip off the writers and make them spend endless hours on orders for low pay when they are charging the clients for the revisions all along.

I have been quite satisfied with cooperation with Writerbay so far. I received my first payment in August, and it came without any delays. Their support works 24/7, which is quite convenient due to the time zone differences: the company is located in London, UK and I writer from Austin, TX, USA. I logged in the other day and was impressed: there were over 130 available orders, while the best what another freelance writing service I had worked for some time ago could offer was around 20-30 assignments daily. I cannot wait to get to work on some dissertation or thesis on Law or Political Science - that's my majors and I am looking forward to this opportunity.

I like to share my opinion on using this $#@! $#*! website, mostly people lie about using writersbay and getting paid well. I just have started my account and as I gone through the proficiency test without any consideration they failed me and block the account.

After working for around a year with the company, I found that the company respects its writers a lot and gives opportunities. I had to wait too long for the first order but then it was all good. Timely payments and plenty of work. However, since I was a newbie, I made several mistakes and the account was terminated in March.
I have learned from my mistakes and am ready to take the challenges again with a much enhanced capability of handling any order. I requested Writerbay to allow me another chance but they said I can reapply only after a year of termination.

I regret about my mistakes and wish if I could go back in time and not do those mistakes. I badly want to work with the company again. Hence, I would request the company to kindly allow me to work again as soon as possible. I am ready to pass all the tests again with much better results.

Working at Writerbay is a good experience for the starters - you can learn what is freelancing, how to write academic papers. I learnt a lot at the beginning and now I can freelance at 2-3 platforms simultaneously. Writerbay is worth trying!
