My husband and I decided to be Chuckie and Tiffany Valentine for Halloween. His overalls were really big they was a large/extra large, but we pinned it up and we made it work overall. Very good quality.
For as long as i can remember, spirit Halloween was one of the best places to be as a teenager out of high school on a weekend with your friends. Now that I am an adult I see things differently. The products they sell even the most expensive will last maybe 2 years tops! So if I spent 500 on a animatronic its trash in 2 years. Not only is this a environmental disaster its a money scheme. Sprit Halloween does this on purpose, it is their financial expectation and built into their business model. Spirit Halloween, it does not have to be this way! You and your executives and L1's can change this and make it great again!
I will never order anything from Spirit again! They take way too long to ship and their shipping tracker is not accurate. I ordered costumes on Oct 10 and they didnt come until October 30! We missed some of the Halloween events because of their disorganization. I then rush ordered costumes for 2day shipping and only 1 costume came within 2 days! Spirit was the only vendor who had the costumes in the sizes we needed, so I was forced to order the backup costumes from them.
Their customer service reps are rude and don't help at all. They will admit they made an error, but do nothing to compensate for it. Plus their costumes are overpriced! Stay away!
I ordered a costume on 10/22. I paid for expedited shipping to be delivered by 10/26. It did not arrive until 10/30,4 days after it was supposed to for expedited shipping. I also can't return it because the return window was closed before it even arrived. Customer service was terrible. No refund, as their return window has already closed. BEFORE my order was even shipped out. Amazing.

The bad attitude of the employee and the manager means that I will never return to this store, the treatment is horrible and the unwillingness to work, first they don't help you with anything and then when it comes time to get paid the person who served me is thin or not I know how to define it as a wig, he insisted to the point of feeling bad for me to donate, on more than 4 occasions he told me that you are not going to donate, I can't believe that you don't donate, after reiterating that I don't donate and charging me, I realize that the item but the tax was $48.14 and I see something else for 0.86 I asked him and he told me that this was roundabout, this insulted me because it is my money and I give it or spend it on whatever I want, I told him that it was disrespectful and he He said that he couldn't give it back to me, already very insulted I told him to give me back all my money and at that moment the manager arrived supporting him but seeing my determination that he would have to return my money so he agreed to return it, the two of them told me not to return the store, of course I will not return but not because they asked for it, I will not return because I don't feel like it, it is sad for a company to have workers like this, it is these workers who lead it to ruin, store located in Mall of The Americas

Just like another person said in their review, this company has owed us a refund for an entire month. They literally cancelled our order and then said they'd be refunding our credit card. Every time I contact them they say it can take up to 21 business days. It's now been over 21 business days and we just keep getting the runaround. As far as we are concerned this company has stolen money from us. Never order or purchase from them, they are quite literally the worst company I have ever dealt with.

When we went to go exchange them / return them they told us there was a no returns or exchanges because it was too close to halloween... We bought another box that has working lights though... Will never buy from this crappy store again. Their stuff is cheaply made and way overpriced. Even Walmart is gold next to them. This store SUCKS!

They ruined my son's Halloween! He was super excited to be a blow up dinosaur this year so we bought it earlier this month. Boys can be rough on things so I didn't let him touch it until our town had trick or treating yesterday. He wore the costume for 45 minutes and the fan started malfunctioning and broke. I had to run him home for a costume change and by the time we got back it was over. We were upset so I called hoping they would at the very least give me a costume that worked but they don't stand behind the garbage that they put out. Although I'm out almost $60 I learned a valuable lesson and I will never purchase anything from that store again. I'm sure Walmart would have made things right so from now on it will be places like that that get my money and I suggest you do the same.

No stars! Purchased a costume where packaging stated girl child small and when opened after purchasing it was a male adult xl. Store would not exchange or refund. Be sure to check your contents. $80 out the window in hard times as it is. Was my first and last visit to Spirit Halloween

We usually shop here yearly. I purchased an item two days ago. I just tried to exchange with receipt at the Birmingham Pinnacle location and was told that there were no returns on tights. First of all, the package is still sealed and obviously never even opened. No one told me anything about no returns for tights when i purchased these or I would've not bought. And let me add, this was after i was ignored by two employees while the one cashier working was helping someone. Won't be back to Spirit Halloween again.

Came in looking for a eye mask with 2 children. Obviously have a diaper bag because again, two children- ages 2 and 4. After the so called manager already acknowledged and spoke directly to us at the front door when we walked in, he decided to tell us we could not have the bag in the store. This happened 20 minutes after walking around. Basically accusing us of stealing. If it was a policy to start with, it should have been acknowledged IMMEDIATELY. Worst manager I've ever met. I'd rate it a zero if I could.
If you're looking for a costume don't buy from them go to a Party City store or something. An actually store that sticks around that doesn't come seasonal. The worker there told me that I am able to exchange / refund due to me buying the product after the date they specifically said said refunds stop. Y'all places be so damn money hungry. This was my first and will be my last time purchasing from any of the Spirit Halloween.

Bought an inflatable dinosaur from Stoney creek location. My grandson put it on for his school party on Halloween day the fan stopped working within 15 minutes I took it off of him and went to store. Clerks there were not professional or helpful the manager tried a couple of crap fans from the back none worked. Their return or exchange program is a complete joke. I bought a cheaper inflatable took the fan out of it and put it in my original costume. At the end of it I'm out another 65 dollars and will never buy the crap in this store again. Stop getting your clerks from the nearest methadone clinic

I will never ever return to another spirit halloween store again! They deserve no stars. I have been waiting for a refund for over a month now. I have called twice and been going back and forth via email trying to retrieve my refund. I was told that it would be taken care but I am still waiting. I have never had this much trouble from any retail store like spirit halloween. They seem to love taking peoples money and not returning it. Worst place ever! What a scam!

There is literally a hole in my costume and they wont let me return it. I bought the costume yesterday and decided to investigate it today and found a 3-inch hole in the leg of the costume. How are you going to sell damaged products and on top of that not offer me my money back or even an exchange. Never buy from this $#*!ty store

They're rude in person, and do not respond if you contact guest services online. Cashier's should be letting customer's know how long they have to return items, especially when it's only a few days. I've spent a lot of money there over the years, but they've lost my business.
Total scam sales I bought wolf ears for my daughter which they guaranteed would fit they fell off right away I returned 2 days later only to hear no refund.

I ordered stuff on Sept 4th to give more than enough time to get my shipments. One decoration came three days before Halloween. It was delayed and expected 10/15 and was still later. I just called on my other items two months now after the purchase and am told they're not even in stock. Don't email support because they will not help you. Calling is a nightmare too, most things try and just point you to their website which hardly even works. They are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. There are other stores for Halloween shop there and save yourself the headache
I ordered august 15th 2022 as i knew halloween approaches quick and wanted the set of costumes buzz and woody for both children.
They proceed to tell me THEY lost the costume so they sent another same set out great fine thanks. Even though that was not my fault.
And again the second package is stuck in the same area and has not moved since not even a town over.
Will never order from this company again. I will reach out to them on Monday again if it still hasn't moved.

Picked up an item, but it didn't have a tag, I told him it was the last one, but a similar item was $8.99. Without saying any, he charged me$14.99. I bought several small items, ant was $40. I paid and he just pushed everything towards me and put my receipt on top. I asked for a bag, and he very rudly said it $. 10. Do you have a dime? I spent that much money, and they can't even give you a bag. Plus I had to pay for parking.

I went to the store in Oshkosh wi. I was greeted and helped by a very nice staff. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for and answered all my questions. I'm so glad they were there. I hope they come back next year!
Spirit is the only place I ever buy Halloween items from, and I even use it for religious rituals. Their fabric is comfortable and their makeup is so great. I've only ordered once online but it was such a great experience. Spirit definitely has my business for years to come.
Although, I love this store and I always buy my children's costumes here. I decided to by an adult costume. It was sized 2-6 (women's) and I normally wear 2-4 so I figured it would fit and I was in a hurry (of course it's the Saturday before Halloween) I did not try it on at the store. Mistake. I get home and I take out the top for the outfit and I can't even get it over my head.
The sizes are misleading and need to be corrected. The prices are outrageous. If I buy a costume and return it the next day unworn I should get a full refund.
The quality of products compared to price aren't equal, but I think most know that when shopping there and buy anyway since there aren't a lot of other options. I had an issue with an exchange today. We purchased two costumes yesterday and used their BOGO 25% off. Today we went back to get a smaller size for one costume. Instead of just doing an exchange she enters the price I paid, which was the 25% off item, and then scanned the new item. The original price tags were the exact same but she tells me I now owe the difference. I took it to the manager who kept showing me the screen so I could see the math. I tried to explain I'm not exchanging for a more expensive product. I also said so now you are no longer honoring the original 25% off? They just showed me the screen again. I showed them the coupon is still on their site. They said that's BOGO though. So wait, if I go home and get the 2nd costume and exchange it for the exact same thing then you could scan the coupon again and I'd owe nothing. They said yes, you can do that. Do you want to go home and get it? What the heck! I said you only use the discounted price if I am asking for a refund since that's what I actually paid, but for an exchange you compare the full price and as long as I'm not exchanging for a more expensive costume I shouldn't owe anything, and honor the original discount. They didn't get it, I dropped it and said I'd contact corporate.
