The rock has always took good care of me. For years now I've ordered parts and saved money with the rock. They are the beast online company to get your parts. Even when you add up the shipping cost you still save. Try am you'll love em.
They show and describe variants of items, BUT lo and behold, when you order them they are identical. THEN when you try to ask about it there is no phone number or customer service to inquire to. The "help" selection is somewhere between a "bad joke" and an "insult". IF you try to return an item they mis advertised or represented you are subjected to exorbitant return fees. I suggest going to the town dump, easier to deal with, same likelihood of getting what you need and easier returns!

Crock Auto is more like it, no service. Trying to return a set of cat converters that failed after 1500 miles, the set it replaced (also from Crock Auto) lasted 2,000 miles. They will not refund, only send another set.
Avoid them

I went to Ford and bought OEM converters, because the ones from Crock Auto fail
Is negative reviews possible? I will never buy from this place again. Reported to better business bureau. Shipped me my part in repackaged box that was crushed and badly damaged, obviously had already been returned to them before. It was wrong. I returned and they will not refund my $. Stating it needed returned in "original AC Delco box". Very hard to do when they didn`t ship it to me in one! I am not one to wish ill will on anyone but this place has made me make an exception! Just out the $230.00

I've used RockAuto for a number of years and literal have ordered hundreds of different parts of all categories. I have had only had one or two parts that were defective, and replacement was just as easy as the ordering... I've had more trouble with local auto parts stores then that! Shipping times are usually a week or less without paying the extra. Maybe the only complaint or warning would be the "wholesale closeout" parts, they are closeout for a reason, just be aware you may have to return or opt for regular stock to be safe. Highly recommend these guys as long as you don't need the part immediately but even the overnight shipping option just brings price up to about local parts stores. This site has definitely saved me money over the years.
Amazon and eBay. Sellls. Cheap aftermarket parts for. Engine. 8 out 10 chance they won't work. Rockauto. Pros. The pc menus
Are impressive. The parts detailed well
And most importantly work. And still good price. Cons. Tough on apple access. And they won't talk to u. But worth muddling through on your own. And. My first happy order. Worked.
Tip for consumers:
Apple is bad on this site don’t expect a person ever. Your on your own. Use a pc it’s easier for these guys.

Customer service is horrendous. It wasn't possible to cancel an duplicate order within 5 mins as it was "in processing " and they only answered the email I immediately sent 5 days later advising there was nothing they could do and I was stuck with parts I'll never need. The duplicate order was processed because the first order crashed. I just can't understand treating their customers like that is part of their business model
Ordered almost 1200$ worth of parts from them, including a bumper and grille for a 2020 car. My friend recommended them, so i never researched the reviews. BOY was i wrong, i reallly should have did my own research, not only did they get the full amount from my card the first time, but they continue to say awaiting payment for an order that wasnt mines with a completely different order number and different price than my parts, then the other 2 orders i did put in and pay for, they just say processing, no loner can be cancelled? Theres no customer service number or email displayed. I cant even try to get a refund if i wanted to. HAve been all over their page for days trying to get answer just to be in a revolving door over and over again. I have a receipt showing my order number, parts and payment in full. But i cannot see my orders attached to my account at all, what is happening?
One of the verse service. Canadian should not order any parts from rock auto. You will pay US dollars and conversion it's not exactly right amount that showing on the web side and also if you wanna return any parts you will pay for the shipping and you will pay a lot more money more than you buying any parts in Canada.

I ordered an ACC carpet kit through Rock Auto that was missing fastening parts. I found some snaps from my leather days, installed them, worked great. Now I'm missing the 28ft of Velcro that was to be included. I live about 30 miles from a Home Depot, I agreed to pick some up rather than waiting 7 days for RA to deliver to complete the install. I received an email stating they would only credit me $30 for the missing Velcro. The 28ft of missing Velcro will cost me $50 plus tax and 60 miles of drive time and the cost of fuel. This will be the last time I order anything from Rock Auto
Since my last review about not getting credit for court charges RockAuto has credited my account for the core charges is taking a while to get it but they did fix the problem and I appreciate it I will continue using them

I got my parts on time there was cheap cheapest I can find this is the best website to order any parts this is why I order all my order parts I have all my friends and family go to this website you guys are cheap and they're fast about their service
I wish I could give this company a zero rating. The first time I bought from them they shipped me the wrong part and patter fighting with them, they gave me a short period of time to drive 45 to the nearest shipping Center to send it out, which of course was missed because of the shorter hours due to COVID. My husband begged me to try them again. We tried his credit card and it came back saying there was an error, we tried my credit card, again said there was a proble. Then we used PayPal and that worked. Well turns out they charged both my credit cards. Of course they have no email or customer service number. Visa expects you to show proof you've contacted the company to create a dispute, which of course is impossible. Basically, buy from this company and YOU WILL BE SCAMMED.

None. They ripped me off by double billing me
Prices are mostly reasonable, but they will not help you at all. I've purchased from them in the past, and had some okay experiences. I was simply trying to buy semi-metallic brakes for my car. The rotors and calipers I received were right, but I cannot wait another week to get new brake pads. There is no one to call, so you cannot fix issues quickly if there is a problem. I would only use them if there are no other options.
Shipping prices are very high. So, if you are not getting a really good price on the part, forget it.
Online catalog is not only confusing, it is missing information regarding what you are looking at. So, you are left to try to figure out what is not there.
No customer service, and there is the rub. Received the wrong brake pads. My mechanic had to purchase others locally. Then I had to pay 60% of the price to send the back. Tried to explain this in an email, and they literally said you have to pick the right parts - it's all on you. No customer service. Don't waste your time or money. These people will not help you. Voting with my feet.
Tip for consumers:
Go to other sites to research your OEM part numbers and then carefully check these in the parts catalog. If you make a mistake and need another part, you will pay dearly, and they will have no sympathy. Make sure you do not need to do returns or reorders. They will stick it to you. On small parts, you will lose most of your money, but on more expensive parts it may still be work it - like calipers, etc...

Ok I wanna first off saying over the past 3 years I guarantee me and my family has done 40,000 worth of business "atleast "and some times it was are fault order wrong part, sometimes theres!whatever I bought a radiator and a turn signal, I believe it came out to 265 with shipping, I get the radiator, " cool" but never get the 89.00 turn signal, probably 105 with shipping, we exchange texts he said go to your local post office I said well everything always gets shipped to my house but whatever, I went to 3 of the closet post offices around and nothing! I reply and tell him, he says NO REFUND!"I GOT SCREENSHOTS,cameras all over my house,my mechanic is so busy I have him get it. I was just so mind blown all the money me and my family spent with this company, he doesn't issue 100 refund for his mistakes, I get the 3 foot by 3 foot radiator, but not the the turn signal, the size of a watch.was really mind blown they did this.maybe you should get customer service ******* was order number,I have receipt for everything and screen shots all for $100 dollars. I was like wow man.
Tip for consumers:

I have done a lot of business with them for car parts. Fast delivery and always the right part. I have not ever had a problem with the parts that I got.
Where do I start. So I go to rock auto to buy a catalytic converter seems easy enough. But my car needs the part not the oem soldered ones. So I still paid a pretty penny using what their site has online I decided to go with a western first that was supposed to fit my car the part came USED! And wasn't even the right part so I ordered another one which I hoped would fit because the pic looked just like the original and nope it was about 2 inches too short. Okay so neither part goes onto the car so I have to return them. But the labels they try to send me don't print right so I have to write them in maually but I sent them to the same warehouse. You'd think even if they make it to the wrong warehouse they would be able to either send it to them or at the least route it back to me and I can retry since I did also pay $15 to send it back. But nope no word from it and rock auto doesn't even have a customer service so when they screen you over you have nobody to speak to. Just a site that sits there ready to sell you more janky parts. I would definitely not ever recommend them to anyone.
Takes too long to receive parts 8 days to 2 weeks, so this will be my last time purchasing from Rock Auto.
Overall their customer services suck, they have a very incomplete system and returning items is only allowed if they haven't been used.
You can NOT cancel your order (FROM WEBSITE and PHONE CALL)! The Quality IS WORSE too. I bought two front axles and they wore out in less than two years!
Ordered a NEW (not remanufactured) starter for an Audi. Part came in a very worn box with a sticker that said "Inspected". The starter had greasy fingerprints all over it. I noticed that the solenoid was offset a bit compared to the original from the car. I figured no big deal, as long as the bolts and housing line up. I was wrong, a very tight fit means this started would not go in due to interference with the motor mount. I wiped it down, put it back in the box, and started the return process. First sign of trouble was when they offered to split the return shipping. The reason is because the starter manufacturer told them it should fit, so it isn't their fault. - No accountability. What about the customer who obviously returned it before me?
They received the starter a few days later. They emailed me and said I would get no refund due to the part being damaged. They included a picture that showed one of the thin bolts was bent over. (Bolts that hold the starter together, not electrical connection) There is an obvious mark consistent with impact on the end on the bent bolt. It looks as though it was dropped squarely on the end of that bolt. It is plausible that this occurred during shipping. However, there was no discussion about a shipping claim, it was immediately "You damaged it, no refund for you."If I wanted the part back I could pay the shipping AGAIN. These people have no customer appreciation or accountability. I will not do business with them again and I would suggest you don't either. You might save some money on a cheap, poorly fitting part. You might just as easily get ripped off.
Oh, and they still show this part as fitting my car.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid this website. No accountability, questionable integrity.

Well rock auto contacted me back and made it right so I have no complaints against them. In fact I ordered another part from them.
