My first hotel was the super 8 in Grants NM. Dirty, run down and in need of TLC. $97 total for the night. Next Ramada in Santa Fe. Nice, clean good quality. $154. So while I think before you put the Wyndham name behind a hotel you should check it out.
New pet fees are a surprise. We have never paid pet fees. Unfinished remodel of elevator. The ceiling panels are out of place and some are missing. The carpet trim is gone but dried glue on base of wall. And the elevator mechanisms sound tough. (Charged for reservation change. Liars!) Don't charge a $100 refundable deposit. That sounds like legal trouble to me. The beds have thin tin covers on the bases that sound like loud drums when you tap one with a foot etc. Ah, the free breakfast! It is horrible with few choices. I can only relate the "scrambled" eggs? To digging out the side of a mountain with a shovel or backhoe. I was able to pick up the entire mass in one chunk. And the taste! Forget about swallowing that stuff. You will "Ralph" it up. Another choice, the sausage, was spicy and looked unappealing. Customers who want spice can use the bottled stuff. Once I had experienced the other disgusting fare, I opted out of tasting the b&g and had lost my appetite for a waffle I would have had to cook myself. And I won't use frozen butter pats on anything. Remod. Of the dining area is nice. Lastly, carpet has holes and stains. Oh, I almost forgot; part of the piece of crap coffee maker was missing. Finally, What if I was your only customer?

At one time, Wyndham was a premium brand- NO MORE. Seems their corporate strategy was to buy up all the bottom feeding hotel chains and try to put lipstick on the pig. It doesn't work. On a recent business trip we stayed at Wyndham's Baymont, LaQuinta, Days Inn and a Microtel, and EVERY one of these places was a poorly managed DUMP. Disgusting accommodations, services and front desk personnel. I wouldn't stay at another Wyndham if it was my dead body in a free room. Please check the photos below for a current example of Wyndham standards. It's actually very sad because at one time Wyndham was a premier brand, I guess it was a race to the bottom, and Wyndham got there first. I mean, look at the pictures of our room...how can anyone be so oblivious to the falling ceilings, MOLD, filthy room fixtures, doors, and bodily fluid residue on the bedding. And yet they will give this to a guest and take money for it. Reprehensible is all one can say, but this is Wyndham TODAY.
Tip for consumers:
If you care anything about cleanliness, comfort or responsive employees, select any other chain but Wyndham.

Just the filthy, moldy, disgusting hotel room by Wyndham.
Their website and app both don't work, and their rude foreign "customer service" is the worst I have ever dealt with. I will NEVER book with a Wyndham hotel, and I suggest you don't either. I got hung up by some overseas call center after 25 minutes, bc she couldn't figure out how to honor the advertised 20% off since every time you click on "book now", it just makes you sign in over and over. I'll take my money elsewhere.
Hotel is disgusting, terrible service. Hotel is literally falling apart. There is a member of there staff that entered our room and stole a bottle of expensive perfume. The hotel did not believe me and said that they "knew" their staff. The person in question that entered our room to clean it has worked for them for almost a year and they said that they didn't take the perfume. Hotel confirmed only one person entered our room while we were out. The bottle of perfume doesn't cover the cost we paid to stay at the hotel and there has been no offer to fix the issue only denial. A bunch of thief's at this hotel. I should also mention that our sink wouldn't drain in our room and the response I got for that was that they fixed it! Wow great service and great response to issues! Days inn in Kingston and Wyndham resorts are absolutely horrible and I would recommend every one avoid both brands and especially the Kingston location.
We stayed at traveled in Spearfish SD and had to cancel last night due to bad weather coming in. We gave hotel 24 hrs notice on this change. Once we checked in the manager would not give us a credit for the last night. Buyer beware they have "whatever" cancellation policy. Look it up. Never had this lack of night's credit happen in our lives! Won't be staying at a Wyndham Hotel again.

Stayed 3 nights, crappy grab and go breakfast, no room service, low toilets, thin towels. Beds just ok.

Location matters. We all know this we just choose to forget.

Booked 3 hotels. Super 8 in Grants NM, Ramada in Santa Fe and the mircitel in Lubbock TX. Have not visited Lubbock yet. But I will book return room for this great road trip.
4 of us made reservations at the Wyndham Travelodge in Deer Lodge Montana, we had made these reservations a month in advance, upon arrival we were informed that Wyndham had sold the hotel and wiped the computers clean, therefore, there were no records of our reservations or proof of payments. (Thankfully there were two rooms left) unfortunately we had to pay twice... Wyndham did not send an email or give us a courtesy call warning us of said sale... nor did they offer any kind of compensation when I called and spoke to a customer care representative about my anger, lost money, and their total disregard to how it affected not only us but my elderly parents (who were traveling with us and had room reservations as well.) this company is very unprofessional and insensitive towards their customers. I would not recommend EVER! Booking a Wyndham property.
No refrigerator or microwave, ice only at front desk, shower hung from ceiling so you can't adjust, $25 for parking to stay at hotel, rooftop bar unavailable to patrons because general public let in, front desk manager doesn't even ask how your stay was. They suck, stay somewhere else

Made reservations at super 8 in Indianapolis. The place was disgusting. The smell when we walked in the room was enough to make you puke. Stains all over the bedding, molding coming off walls, missing dresser drawer, wash cloth bar ripped out of shower, scum in shower. And let's not forget the bullet holes thru the window! We put our luggage back in the car and drove to the holiday Inn. Will never stay at another Wyndham property again
Tip for consumers:
Stay far away from a Wyndham property
wyndhamhotels.com. Their pictures are outdated and show a full on breakfast bar but don't be fooled their breakfast comes with a sack, brown paper bag, full of warm boxed juice, granola bar in a package of steel muffins.
Tried calling Wyndham hotel group. They said that because I booked through Expedia, they could care less with my opinion of the place is and to call Expedia.
But Expedia doesn't on the hotel Wyndham does in this place falls far below window quality they should hold her standards to.
Not to mention the condescending woman who I spoke to Att Wyndham, hotels, customer service named Jennifer, or Jessica, who is supposedly a supervisor/manager, and was very disrespectful.
Do not stay at this location
The lady at when an even went on to say that I'm supposed to read my email confirmation to see what amenities are provided not based off of the site that is provided before making the booking reservation so in the nutshell we as in Windham promote false advertising
If I could give zero stars I would... Rooms look nothing like the photos on the website.
Rooms are dirty and very dated. Found balls of hair and used q-tips behind the night stand. Limited outlets. There is a smell from the time you walk in. Dark and dingy. Manager is such a delight - not! Not very customer friendly.
I recently stayed at the Travelodge in Lincoln, NH, a property owned by Wyndham Hotels. I booked directly through Wyndham Reservations and was charge $177.60 for a room with a single queen bed. When I arrived at the hotel, it was obviously dilapidated and run down. My room was HORRIBLE. I've attached some photos of a broken lamp, stained window shade, a jacuzzi sign in the bathroom (there was NO jacuzzi!), wreaked woodwork, and a view of the property from my window that looked like a slum. To boot, the room smelled like mold and antiseptic, burning my eyes, and the hotel did not provide breakfast, as was promised by the booking agent. The rating of "1" is not low enough for this place.
This place is a travesty and should be dropped by Wyndham. I was frankly horrified - I am a new Wyndham Rewards member, and had planned to make all my travel plans with Wyndham properties. I will never again assume a Wyndham property is worth its reputation.
Save your money, and don't stay here. Website failed to disclose that La Quinta in Burlington VT was undergoing major renovations. Also, there is no parking at hotel, had to park at Price Chopper parking lot. Incessant loud noise all day. One of the managers is very unfriendly and unpleasant. Terrible experience.
Tip for consumers:
Do not stay at La Quinta Burlington VT.
Booked a 4 days/ 3 nights with Wyndham resort. Cost $149 plus listen to timeshare presentation.
Scheduled in fort Lauderdale and paid room taxes and fees...$98.00.
After reviewing itinerary...not resort...hotel room. Resorts have kitchens...not just coffee maker and small refrigerator. The find out I am responsible to get to the office site presentation. Decided to cancel. They wanted to charge me another $19.95 for canceling...don't sign up for this! It will end up costing you much more, you will have to listen to presentation and eat out every meal.
Tip for consumers:
Others getting caught in the same scam

In June 2022 we stayed at Armand's in Louisville. When I say the hotel was disgusting I mean it was really disgusting. The sink was falling off the wall. Breakfast was a frozen bagel and sunny delight. No place to eat. And when I complained they went unanswered. I demanded my money back and they only credited me 15%. When I contacted Wyndham Customer Service they acted like it was not there problem. Then they outright lied to me about the case. To repeat I will never stay at another Wyndham property!
My experience is that their hotels are run down, poorly managed, underpaid with poorly trained employees. Rooms are often dirty with beat up furniture, tvs and microwaves that do not operate. Sad to see old good brands such as Ramada and Sleep Inn lose their good reputation to Wyndham.
We stayed at 114 middle Dante dr Knoxville tn. There were mice droppings all over and just plane filth! What looked like human crap on the floor beside bed! Mold all around the bath tub handles and very noises! We are members of the Wyndham Rewards program but if this is what we get forget it! I'll sleep in car next time! Train your housekeepers! 0 stars!
I bought a 4 day/3 night vacation package for a reduced price if we attended their time share presentation. They told me we could stay at some nice places in Florida but when I tried to book, only low quality hotels available. To stay at a nicer property, you must pay more money. Total bait & switch operation. I will NEVER stay at a Wyndham facility again! I'll sleep in my car first! Do your research before doing business with them, lots of complaints to read about!
After checking in to the Edmonton location, I was advised I had to pay an add 200$ for a damage deposit in addition to paying for the room. After questioning the desk clerk kJ he informed me that this was standard with all hotels not just the Ramada. This he said was for damage that might be done during my stay. I mentioned that at 72 years old did I seem like I would damage the hotel property or room. Now coming from the hospitality industry for 26 years, we would never never make a client feel less than a valued guess and more like a criminal. I mentioned nothing was said when we booked, it was not an issue of money what so ever but certainly was an issue on how this if in fact is a NATIONAL policy and How it was presented as a mater of fact! If anyone know if this is true, please share. Wow if the Industry had in fact adopted these practices, it truly is a sad day for travellers. Signed very unhappy!
This property was beyond discussing. I Don't know how it is still opened. Reserved for may 4- 9. None of the amenities were available and the room we had had a major leak on our 2nd floor not our room but one close by. When ask about if it was safe the manager became very rude and told us to get our stuff and leave. Bug infected dirty carpets no smoke alarms pool 2 ft of muddy water, electrical problems light would go on and off when you moved in the room. No phones in the room breakfast consisted of breakfast bar and sunny d.really disappointed

Will never stay at a hotel linked to Wyndham again! We cancelled a reservation with a Mictrotel in MN. The GM allowed us to cancel but said we needed to call "corporate" which was Wyndhams customer service. The customer service rep never opened a "customer care" case and we were charged for the 3 nights 2 and half months later! It took us weeks to find out Wyndham dropped the hotel because they filed for bankruptcy but no one at Wyndham told us this or tried to help in any way. We now have to get our bank involved. Shady shady shady all they way around!
We were ejected from Days Inn Ocean Shores, Washington because the owner thought I was Mexican. We filed a complaint with Wyndham Supervisor Samantha, she told us they would take no action with the owner of the hotel. We never even were able to check in and they still charged for the full reservation. They will not refund our credit card.

We stayed at a days inn... by wyndham, in Myrtle Beach, the entire stay was a joke. The check in person charged us an additional $5.00, over what we paid on expedia, said it was to cover local taxes, we were promised a breakfast, two days earlier on the Wyndham site, but no breakfast available at the hotel. Everything smelled like a locker room, and the desk people were rude. I don't what kind of scam they are running, calling this a Wyndham, but i can promise you I will never stay at another Wyndham or Days inn. I hope this review keeps people from making the same mistake we made.
We stayed at the Ramada Viscount by Wyndham in Tucson, Arizona. This place has Bugs that bite, drains that do not drain and rooms not fit for homeless. Rooms not updated for at least 20 years. The room did not have the amenities that were on our reservation No decorations, no pictures, nothing. When you complain they move you to a room that is like the Ritz. Art work, plants, flat screen TV, mirror, Nice linens, on and on. Too bad they treat Wyndham Rewards and Time Share owners or any customer with such disrespect. Guess they did not like the discount Wyndham gives to their owners. Shame on them.
You really cannot expect high quality American values when most of the Wyndham hotels/motels are owned by middle eastern people. They have a much lower bar set than Americans do. They get by with hiring low cost labor whether for housekeeping or trade work. I'm a licensed contractor and the things that I see in the 2 to 3 star hotels are disgraceful for the price we pay to stay in them.
