I am on the Affordable Credit Program and supposed to receive a $30 credit each month. Received credit last month. This month I was charged almost $25 more. No credit. I was told it would be on next month's bill. I asked if next month's bill would reflect $60 credit. Silly me. When I couldn't be convinced they knew what they were saying, I was transferred to an automated service that consistently said every department was closed. Next step BBB.
New Xfinity fraud.
After agreeing to switch my Google.fi number to Xfinity, I received a phone but was given a new number by default. I messaged my account number and pin to customer service, but it took more than 10 days. When I attempted to transfer the number today (6/8/2014), the agent informed me that I may cancel the number that had already been issued to the devices. I accepted, then they cancelled, and now they're misleading me because, according to the agreement, they issued the number by default, and there's no way I can swap. To change my number, I now have to pay the entire fee for the device.

Lured in with special pricing. Overcharged by $100 the first month. Return equipment CHARGED AGAIN …, refund 3-5 days NEVER CAME. Pissy agent. Fought finally got it through for TV. BUT they didn't UNLOCK MY PHONE. 4 hours on phone in a loop. Still paying them $85 a month even though they can't locate my account through my phone number…… several disconnects … never got to speak to a human. I've lost over $600
The internet is fast. But they charged me for a full month's worth of internet for 5 days because they decided they wanted to charge me at the beginning of the month instead of the end. Absolute bull$#*!. The kicker? It wasn't even working for those 5 days because I forgot to pay the previous month's while on vacation. So I got charged an extra $160 for five days where the internet wasn't even working.
The absolute worst customer service I have ever received from any company! The service they provide is good, but they do not care about the customer. I would not recommend to anyone to switch! They sent me the box's for a new customer and they were the wrong box's, they convinced me to switch from T-Mobile to xfinity BYOD, and they could not figure out how to get the number ported and charged me for a new phone. You are nothing but a number to them!
I recently moved and disconnected my Xfinity account. I had a balance which I was told I could pay the remaining amount the following month. Not even a month past that I disconnected my services and I was sent to collections without getting a heads up. For 200$ of my remaining bill. Totally ruined my credit when I had made my monthly payment at the time it was due when I returned my devices in the store. I also registered my account under Military which I never received a discount, I ended up calling to verify and they sent me a gift card for their lack of service which they offered once I signed up. I was a loyal customer for 3 years. Do not recommend this cable service, not only because of what occured but because they have alot of outages and the internet was constantly going out while I was working from home.
Since 7/28/2022 I have had so much unnecessary stress from trying to downgrade. I knew on 8/11/2022 my promotional 24mo cable package was going up. So I called on 7/28 to downgrade because we can't afford it and don't use cable really anyway. I have called, chatted online, and text with so many representatives this whole month I can't even count. I have a newborn and have literally contemplated canceling all together. However, on 7/28 I was convinced to switch Xfinity Mobile to save $100, that is would be easy they would cancel with my other mobile provider... that wasn't simple and isn't resolved still. I got a new box and was told I had to wait until the day the promotional service was over, so I called the day before 8/10 switched boxes sent old one back. I have had many internet issues and transfers and disconnects. I'm done!
I was a mobile and internet customer for over two years. Moved to a state that xfinity wasnt in so my bill skyrocketed. I had to switch carriers. For weeks I was on hold, spoke with management, chatted, texted and everyone told me they would help but no one did. I live 309 miles from the nearest store and everyone I talked to told me to go to the store cause they couldn't help me. I simply needed a detailed bill and copies of my DPPs. I'm disgusted with this company and will never do business with them again. They have cost me about a grand that I was supposed to get back on promotion with the new carrier but they couldn't provide me with simple information and I was cut off from obtaining anything online.
Xfinty overall has low quality WiFi that is spotty and very restricting to where you go. The streaming service as well is offal. It's interface just is horrible. As well as the deals that you can get on prime video. The paramount plus subscription on prime video is not allowed on Xfinty as well as other things. Peacock is free but he only good thing they have on there i s the office and Parks and Rek.
The wifi is so slow. A few minutes ago when I was texting someone complaining about my wifi, and it says "Not Delivered". I seriously cannot believe this company is still in business. Online they say the this company is the absolute BEST internet service provider, but that is absolutely the biggest lie I've seen in a while. If you're looking for a new ISP, I highly recommended to AVOID this one.
If I had known how bad Xfinity customer service is I would never, ever got cable and internet through them. When you call with a question they will never let you talk to someone, when you have trouble with your cable they transfer you to some other service company that you text with or if you want to talk to a live person you have to pay $26.00 to talk to them what a ripoff! Unless you have a lot of money to waste do NOT use Xfinity.
I talked to 4 different people in one night and minakishi was by far the most helpful! The other 3 disconnected because I did not want their cell service. I liked minakishi because I was not asked to buy anything or harassed yo buy anything at all was very helpful and got right to the point! Thank you for that because all the other folks working for this company come on to strong and worried about commission instead of wanting to help. Minakishi deserves a raise, maybe you could take away from some of the others that don't care about your company at all! I gave 3 stars because of the other 3 A-holes I delt with tonight but minakishi would have gotten 10 if I could!
I received a text message from xfinity saying my bill was due. I was unable to go to the app or online because their website was screwed up. I was told by the person I was chatting with from xfinity that my bill was due on the 21st. On Monday the 12th my phone was disconnected. I called xfinity paid the bill which I discovered that my bill was doubled! I have called 4 times and still no service it's been two da!
Comcast/Xfinity have made it impossible to talk to a representative. I have tried for 2 days to jump thru all their hoop to try to talk to someone to find out why there's a sudden $50 increase in my bill. My payment is automatically deducted and the statement goes to an old email that I haven't used in years, but I can't get through to change any of this! VERY FRUSTRATED!
Literally the worst! I can never get ahold of them and their online chat always says that there is nobody available. I canceled my account and they have been billing me every single month, even though I canceled with them over a year ago! They also charged me for "unreturned equipment" when I mailed it and even got confirmation that it made it from the tracking number! I can't get ahold of them to get it fixed. Please never go with Xfinity. Very unimpressed.
Been getting constant internet outages lately and xfinity is no help. Today my internet is out and I do live chat and they say there are no outages. Then they go to schedule service and suddenly there are internet outages in my area. I request text updates and it says outages are resolved. They are not and the website shows they are not either. Total mess.
I had service with Xfinity for years. I moved. Guess what, Xfinity is not offered at my new residence, the monopoly of At t is offered ONLY! Not my fault. But became my problem because I was under contract with these stupid a-holes! And had to pay all kinds of fees! No thanks! I will remember this! When I move again, and I probably will, and Xfinity is offered, I will Never, EVER EVER EVER use Xfinity again! Bye for ever
As a Comcast/Xfinity customer for many years, it was always a struggle to get decent rates and not get slapped with out of contract high rates, etc. but this last Xfinity/Comcast maneuver really shows how unscrupulous the company is. When my contract ran out in February 2022 I had my house on the market and asked the renewing agent would my contract be dissolved without penalty if I moved to an area that did not have Comcast Xfinity? The agent specifically said "no" I wouldn't have to worry about any fee if I couldn't get Comcast in the area that you moved to. It's on a recorded line but Xfinity refuses to refund all the extra money it drafted from my bank account citing I broke my contract when I moved although they do not service the new area I live in. The FCC is a useless complaint mechanism, they are all corporate buddies. Anyone else had this exact situation? Anyone interested in a class action suit against Xfinity?
I had an Xfinity Internet years ago and I was a dissatisfied customer then too. I went with another company for a few years and was supper happy. Last year, I needed higher speed and I got Xfinity internet again and let me tell you. Nothing changed. A whole year of drama, not working interned additional charges, and emails that I did not return the equipment despite having printed confirmation. Nothing was good I paid a monthly fee for a whole year and the internet was not working. I called and technician came. They dimmed the fault was not on their side and they charged me $100 for each visit. So I waited the whole year because I did not want to get charged early termination fees. I even called to find out about the specific date I needed to cancel and guess what I still got charged a termination fee. Never again. CROSS-POSTED ON THE OTHER SITES.
I called them to have them take 2 small boxes off my bill and told him I didn't want any changes to my channel line up. He said nothing will change except 2 boxes will be taken off my bill. He said I had to do the accept thing through text. I told him 3 times I didn't want any changes except for the 2 small boxes off my bill. He said he was not charging any thing else so I agreed. Guess what he changed my channel line up. I called to tell them to please put it back. The person I talked to today said sorry he did that BUT to put it back I have to pay more. I asked her to talk to the supervisor and she would not let me. All those nice things they show on TV are re$#*!ules.when the scam people. I'm elderly and have cancer. I'm not shocked for some reason. As soon as I can I'm canceling them.
