Customer Service Sucks!

I have had no luck in getting internet service for 3 days. I call and get representatives "off shore" NOT in the U.S. when I ask to speak to a rep in the US I get every reason under the sun as 2 why I cannot be xfered. I'm so OVER IT! I went to Xfinity in Aventura FL to swap out the modem, only to have to wait there over an hour to exchange a modem. WTF! They offer tech support@ $100 if they come to ur house and the issue is inside ur house... but it's included if it's outside. I don't understand. I need a new provider.

First Xfinity could improve the speed and consistensy of their internet service not to mention, their web site. Second they could improve their customer service. I tried to buy internet pods on line recently and the web site instructed me to call customer service. When I did, I was told to go on line and if it did not work to go buy the pods on Amazon! I was given the run around from one manager to another and finally, Anthony, one of the supervisors told me he was sorry for the bad service I had received, and to compensate me, he would send me the pods for free. I asked for a confirmation, and he gave me the phone number of his personal line (Anthony Butler: *******893. Of course I never received the pods and he never picked up the phone or returned my phone calls despite me leaving him few messages. In my neighborhood people are switching to Lumo's and I sure understand why.

WORST SERVICE EVER.
August 15, 2022

I have been in an endless feedback loop of trying to log into my account. Their website has made me place my order TWICE, and once I do it kicks me out of my account and I can't log back in. Every SINGLE. TIME. I have tried to log into my account to see my orders it says "Hmm. This page didn't load correctly", no matter where I am, what device, etc I have tried to access my account probably 30 times in the last week with no luck! I am LIVID.

I was on line for 45 minutes trying to get peacock at the end I was told you can not get channel put on your bill separate bill said I did not want to do that than was called stupid I have been customer since cox unveilible

A tech came to bring a new modem. He neglected to connect it to my printer, so I have no printer. When you call, no one ever answers - well, I do hang up after 20 minutes! I was on a "chat" with a "live agent" for 2+ hours yesterday and she talked me through it and it still didn't work and she just DISCONNECTED THE CHAT without telling me! Another "live person" came on immediately, but I did not want to spend another 2 hours so I said, I want a tech here tomorrow morning at 8:00. They have emailed me that I have an appointment on June 15,2022 - in 7 days! No printer and no WiFI on my phone.

THEY SUCK! I miss work time messing with this company. My bill is crazy high and I PAY it... even if I'm late I get it paid. I had an employee named Laura tell me that they #u%k with my service when I pay late and I think that is really unfair because it causes me to miss hours of work. Im moving to DIRECT TV in June. Im done!

Horrible experience with Xfinity.

The least that interests this company are its customers. Not recommended. Since September we have been waiting to receive a phone for an offer in force at that time, we pay taxes and they are currently deducting what was agreed to from my husband, however we have not received the equipment. Today we received the news that the phone was lost in transit through FedEx and the company is still making us wait and does not give us guarantees that we will be able to obtain our equipment, even though we are paying for it and waiting for the terms they have been required of us. We have spoken with the store manager, who does not give us an immediate solution, when they did immediately charge us taxes and deduct our monthly payment. We also requested that we be assisted by the company's Order Department and their representative did not want to assist us, an attitude that we consider rude and unethical, when you depend on your clients and their well-being and compliance. It is truly impressive that situations like this occur in this country. Special mention for the representatives who have assisted us online, who have been extremely respectful and kind. In short, you don't lose a single dollar, let the naive clients who trust you with their money and time and your terrible management lose and suffer, a single word can describe them...

The self install would have worked immediately if the Comcast end was not problematic.
To this day (months later) it takes multiple calls and wasted time with an idiot live chat after time with that made by idiots xfinity assistant.
Ultimately it seems they don't hire customer service people because they have managed to develop an automated service to ignore you and hang up on you.
The service is INTERMITTENT and they can't figure out why when it is up or down. They deny anything is wrong with it. So when a Comcast-end employee troubleshoots and agrees it needs a scheduled tech visit, XFINITY cancels the appointment by text for absolutely no reason. Then you have to call and all again to talk with a broken algorithm that pretends to review your account to link you to live chat and or xfinity assistant which cannot explain why they are so ISSUE-RIDDLED.
Unfortunately that is only a small part of my negative experience.

Horrible internet, cable, home security, etc. provider! Inability to talk OR chat with a customer service representative. I live in Houston and even with relatively small storms the internet will go out for days. I live in a condominium complex and owners with Verizon, T Mobille, AT&T, etc will have minimal or no service interruptions while I am without internet for days if not week(s).

Tropical storm Beryl wiped out XFINITY (but not others, like Verizon and T mobile) services for many people in the Houston area on 7/8/24. It has been 5 days and Xfinity sends generic, vague messages regarding their restoration efforts; do not give anticipated date or range of dates for service recovery based on location; lack the service staff and technician volume required to fix damages to their network; have a poor network infrastructure that is easily prone to weather-related damage irrespective of the extent of the damage!

PLEASE DON'T GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. THEY ARE A DISGRACEFUL COMPANY! Go with another provider.

Xfinity admits to Scams to Customers. Refuses to accept Payments from Customers on the phone. Then they Cut off Elderly and Disabled people Service who can't travel to a Store to pay the Bill. Is Xfinity allowing Employees or someone else Information about account Numbers and taking Payment and Not applying This Payment to Customers Accounts.? Corporate Fraud? Identity Theft? Time to ask the Federal Government to see and Investigate If Xfinity Is guilty of Violating The Rico Act.

Unfortunately I have an infinity cable tower in my yard. I don't even have cable. When they provide service to neighbors they have to come in my yard to open the tower, replace cables, etc. etc. I just found good size sections of cables in my yard, little pieces strewn about and of course the grass around the box is torn up and then I had to find my sprinkler head they covered up. Even when they were Comcast they were just as terrible at removing their work debris and leave it for the homeowner to do. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

First, I want a negative star! Make that 5 negative stars.
I am too aggravated to write it all. Long short is... for three months I have been charged $180.00 for four unlimited lines. They charge should be only $120.00. Every single employee says the same thing over and over and over "oh, I understand ma'am... "oh, I would feel the same way if this were happening to me... OH, let me put you on hold to speak to my supervisor... Oh, no I won't put you on hold... I will make sure I get you to the right person... Oh, so you are calling about... JUST PATHETIC!
I have wasted over 12 hours NOT KIDDING, waiting on the f***ing phone for somebody to get this straightened out! EVERY SINGLE MONTH I have to call and wait. Call and get hung up on. Call and told I would get a call back. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. RUN! SERIOUSLY, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR XFINITY MOBILE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Currently another hour of my life has been wasted. See attached, I am still on hold.

Xfinity is the worst service in the world. My cable line is melted and it's melted going to my box apparently they do not put that as priority. My home is at risk of fire and I've been trying to get someone here since 7am this morning its 7pm now they have no technicians available. They are putting my life and home at risk. This is a fire hazard that should have been top priority. Since they don't think so im gonna escalate my bbb complaint. As safety should be first priority for Any company.

These people refused to apply ACP program (TWICE) and will not connect me to an actual human. I wish I had to returned to their service. I cannot get assistance at all about billing or intermittent connectivity or upgrades. EXTREMELY aggravating!

Xfinity plays a monopoly on internet and they truly are just $#*!. They are the only providers in our area and about everyday it just randomly goes out, have had them come to the house to fix it and they say it's all good but then why does it continue to go out everyday. If you are able to get any other provider please do yourself a favor and do it. They charge a lot more than other providers and the plans aren't even that good like maxing out at a 50gb upload for 200 a month? I had Fusion at my old place and it was 112 a month for 1000 up and 1000 down. Truly is just sad how $#*! they are.

Issues with internet connection ALL THE TIME is slow when I supposed to have one of the fastest speed. It's ALWAYS off line. Always resetting router unplugging power cord to get internet again
Try just try to talk to a living human customer service person! The animated person is pretty much all you get

Talked to a person last month in the D. R. after waiting and figuring how to talk to a person, story, my bill went up from 70 to 95 I was on hold, well I HEARD them set the headset down AND conversation in the background after a LONG WHILE of waiting someone else came on and promised my bill will be fixed! It was that month which was Feb 2022 nor this month March. 2022
I don't like this company nor recommend it

I also have cellular service with them and you get a discount only if you have both. Mobile service better than internet but you will pay

I have been with XFinity (Comcast) for over 15 years and once fiber is introduced to my area, I cancelled xFinity services and signed up for fiber service. Spoke to the xFinity rep and requested services to be terminated on the same day. A week later, I noticed my account is still active, so I called back and they said the reason for my account is still active and is because while talking to the rep, the call got disconnected... Which is BS... because I spoke the rep to the end and I would have call back if the call got dropped because I want to terminate my services. Anyway, they're still charged me for a week of none used services (I got Quad services (internet/phone/TV and home security) and they refused roll back the actual cancellation date that I originally called... Just be aware if you cancelled your services, CALL BACK and verify to make sure your service(s) is cancelled on the requested date. WOW xFinity, that is how you treated your so call 'loyal' customer...
