Flicker

Once again the lights flicker, not even enough that clocks are affected and 15 minutes I'm still waiting. Every time it flickers programs interrupted for who knows how long. Storms are not necessary.

Pissed off vet

Called in for transfer pin. Agent got mad cuz I asked to be transfered. She then got loud and I gotnliud telling her don't yell like im a $#*!ing child. They she hung up after suspending my acct. By end of year all 7 phone lines and cable/interent will be switch after 6yrs of no late payments or nothing

Don't do it

I was assured that the service would work in my area but it does not. I immediately returned equipment in July. It is December and they are still trying to charge me. Had cancel credit card.

I am a customer for years that have cut Cable Now Having Problems with your internet when you try reaching someone you go through your Robotic Automated Service to be then Transfered to A Rep that has No knowledge of what they are talking about My Issue Never Got Resolved & I Am Seriously Looking at Another Provider You Guys Suck

Sh*t Customer Service

Xfinity's customer survive is $#*!. Their answering machine REFUSES to allow you to speak to a human being, even when it's clearly necessary. They try to charge you for random $#*! that's above your monthly bill.
Not only that, but I qualify for internet assistance- because I live in poverty, so no $#*! I qualify. As soon as I got my approval letter, I contacted them, EXACTLY LIKE I WAS SUPPOSED TO.
But instead, I spent two hours going around the answering machine and another with an "xfinity agent" who did everything but help me- and lied to my face about the next steps and the process. Because of her, I didn't realize I had to apply for it through the company, too- and now have to pay ANOTHER internet bill that I can't afford on my own.
The only reason I'm stuck with this $#*! company is because we live in a small town where there isn't another option. If you have another internet company, USE THEM. This one is more trouble than it's worth.

Slower by the day

In our little town, xfinity is the only ISP. They know that and take advantage of customers. In addition, they are outrageouslt priced. They just announced 1000 Mbps service. That is far from a reality. During the hours of 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM it is so slow that most web pages "time out" before you can open them. Sometimes, I can't even get on line. Old dial up services of the 80s and 90s were faster.
For my first time in 30 years of having an ISP, finally Quantum is coming to town and giving Xfinity some competition. I can't wait to dump xfinity.

No one wants contracts any more, that is so old school. People move, circumstances change, better service is available, and in 2020 we all experienced a pandemic that changed all of our plans. Most reputable companies gave people grace for circumstances changing due to that. I turned on my service in 2020, and ended up moving at the tail end of my 2 yr contract. I asked the agent when I requested to disconnect if there would be any fees associated with the disconnection and she said "No, we don't do that - we try to make things as easy at possible." Then I get my final bill and there is a disconnection fee. I called back and ask them to listen to the call, they said I signed a contract point blank doesn't matter what their agent said. Absolutely ridiculous. In the very least, train the agents to give accurate information. In addition, there was a $7 fee for paperless statements, why would I pay for that? I was told I was being transferred and I sat there for 45 mins and no one ever answered the phone. It's crazy how many customers these million dollar companies will piss off all in pursuit for a few bucks. Because there are options now, and some don't include contracts, I will NOT be returning to Xfinity.

Is Xfinity Hacked?
July 15, 2022

I have had Xfinity for five years now, best Internet For where I live. For almost two years I have been dealing with the most intrusive Malware out today. From a corrupted isp address to Malware on my phones. When I call Xfinity I get some guy who can hardly talk English and a staticy phone line. Who are these people? What's happened to Xfinity what country is customer service in. Now I am locked out of my account and when I go to change my Password I fill out top line go to do second line with password and the screen freezes and I can't change password, I'm so sick of this I just want a secure account so my question is Xfinity are you Hacked? Legitimate question

Over $100 per month for "business" connection plus extra for "gamers" AND rent for their modem… and it's the worst I've ever seen after midnight with zero users on our network. Xfinity= Cheated.

Comcast offered a really good 1 year contract plus a free phone in Dec '22, literally 1 month later they RAISED MY MONTHLY BY $28, then added another $9.20 monthly (total added $37.20 month to my original Contract price) with NO EXPLANATION OF WHAT THE $9.20 WAS FOR effective Jan 1,2023!
Comcast hides behind saying before customers accept terms they list that they are allowed to raise rates at will. NO WONDER ON INVESTORS ARE ALLEGEDLY RATING COMCAST AT 40% for Bankruptcy. Last year they LOST 3.5 Million customers! A Contract means NOTHING TO COMCAST and after my term will leave them!

Highway thieves

I had Comcast/Xfinity for 20 years and was robbed every month with ridiculous rates for low speeds BECAUSE they were the only horse in town even though I live in the Capital of the second largest State. Every 12 months when the contract ran out without as much as a whisper the bill go up by 40% and then starts a journey of begging them to lower the rates and pick whatever crumbs were thrown in my direction. The worst HIGHWAY ROBBERS on the entire planet.

As a brand new customer, I am less than satisfied with how I have been treated by Xfinity! I bundled land line, internet, and TV service. I was told via phone by the rep. That there would be no installation fees/charges. I'm now being billed $39.99. (LIE # 1). The installation tech. That came out, spent 5 hours at my home, with 2 TV's not getting Xfinity service when leaving. The tech. Said to buy any ROKU devices and they will allow my 2 TV's to get Xfinity service. (LIE # 2) There are only certain ROKU's that are compatible with Xfinity streaming Beta. The tech. Said that within 2 weeks that the orange cable he laid on the ground from the outside box to my home would be buried. (LIE # 3). When contacting Xfinity customer service they indicated that the tech. Never put in a request to have the cable buried which was a month a go. My $140.00 bill is now $200.00. We are guessing that based on Xfinity's actions that they in fact do NOT want our business, as actions speak louder than words.

They are outrageously EXPENSIVE, IMPOSSIBLE to contact with problems, and both internet & cable go out frequently. I was forced to use them for 10 years due to where I lived. The worst service I've ever encountered & I'm 65 years old! The ONLY GOOD THING I Can say about them is if you're EVER ABLE to get through to a live human being they are usually very helpful.
