I have been an Xfinity customer about 10 years in Florida. Their customer service is the worst of ANY company I have ever dealt with. We had a major hurricane in my area and our service line from their box to our house was severed. I have called numerous times to have someone come out and fix the line. We have no internet or cable. All of our neighbors do, so they really can't blame the hurricane at this point. It would take a technician just a few minutes to replace the line, yet I get promise after promise that it will be fixed "in a few days." No one ever shows up. Cannot get a date/time certain to fix this easy problem. They charge an arm and a leg for service, but heaven forbid you have a problem. This is not the first time, either, although it is the first hurricane damage to our line. I am sick to death of waiting an hour or more for a live person to answer the phone and then get lied to. Xfinity is the WORST but in our area our choices are quite limited. Very close to canceling our services and finding another company. They have until Tuesday 11/29 to make things right. And I will tell all of my neighbors to do the same. ARE YOU LISTENING, XFINITY?! Don't lie to your customers!
I just sat here on my phone for the past hour trying to buy wifi from xfinity and all I got were error messages and the $#*!ing run around. If I could rate it 0/5 I would.
Ne of the few times, I reached a live person who had the empathy to make sure that my issue was at least addressed and heard that as a customer was valued. They patiently listened to my entire issue and offered to help by escalating it to someone of higher power in their department was scheduled to call me back. After I hung up, I logged into my account, and I realized my login took me to an entirely different account, which appeared to be a mother of father and three daughters, whose info I had access to. I had no idea who it was that had access to my account with my personal information.
But if I had never realized, when and what had happened, Xfinity employees would have never figured it out themselves. So I called after a week of trying to get through to someone who would listen. I finally was able to explain. The previous rep made some type of mistake, error, and that I had access to personal information of an entire family. All that was done was that the account corrected and then nonchalant apology.
Prior to fixing the account I made sure to text and call the people on the account and let them know that I had access to the personal information via Xfinity account.
I call for tech support because I have already the steps of restarting my modem and attempting to update, which none of those things help at all. I can't even get to a damn human. The stupid voice prompts forces a restart of my modem and then hangs up on me stating that I'll get a call back in ten minutes. THIS STEP IS REDUNDANT and I want to just speak with a damn human because WTF?! Instead of making me wait for something I know it's going to work, why not verify with me first if I've already restarted, etc so I can get the damn issue resolved?! Absolutely USELESS and time consuming. I pay enough to talk to a HUMAN rather than their POS voice prompt. EVERYTIME I call them I end up wanting to disconnect because of the pure irritation it causes me. Absolutely irate EVERYTIME. Unfortunately, they're the only capable service I have in my area. So disgusted with their BS
Xfinity is a scam! I would never recommend the internet service! My bill has gone up every bill! They even had me paying for a house phone and I didn't know! Worst service
They rip you off charge you after u cancel your account they are just thieves? Get internet with T-Mobile or someone and just get apps! Do yourself a favor stay away from comcast!
They will automatically cancel programs that were in your original line up. For example, to continue to get TCM you have to buy a sports package. How many people who want to watch TCM want to watch a sports package. B. S. Shame on them. My internet was always refreshing and after 8 months I was told I needed a new line. That was in January. Someone came out in April and put in about 1/3 of the line needed, cut it off and threw the rest of the cable over my fence. I saw it there. Now at the end of June someone came out to bury the cable and decided they had to put it 7 feet inside the gas line whereas before it was 3 feet. This inhibits me planting anything next to my fence. Plus the person who came out to mark to lines trampled all of my bushes and flowers to spray and sprayed paint all over my driveway and road. I realize Comcast doesn't have anything to do with the line markers, but what a disaster. I wish I never had Comcast, especially since their prices continue to be raised with fewer options.
Had no issues with internet when i used them for two years. When I canceled my account and services because I moved they kept charging me for 2 months. I called to remind them that I cancled and that I already made the payments to cancle my services 3 times with in those two months. I'm writing this today because they still have not cancled my services after the 4th time and have charged me a 3rd time. They are extremely difficult to deal with when canceling services. They said that they had bo record of me making payments. So if you go with them keep records of your bank statements. Wish me luck getting this resolved because this is extremely inconvenient and unnecessary.
I swore to myself I will never sign up with xfinity again from my last experience But I made the same mistake again,service and customer service one worse than the other good luck talking with an agent inside of the US, and I went to the store the employees even worse than both such a disappointment

Always running into outage. Very bad customer service hotline. I can't get clear information from their automatic call service or automatic help center.

I recently received a phone call from an employee of comcast xfinity, who also tells me untruths about billing and networking. He said that on January 10,2022, they took money from my account in December 2021, and on January 24,2022, they charged me for January 2022. The money was withdrawn on 10 of my debit card, which I no longer have, and on 26 directly from my account, which I personally I gave it to them to have the new information and to continue the collection. They no longer raised money with the intention of building a situation to justify themselves. The man is lying in front of my legally obtained facts that when I gave my new information from the bank, they did not charge for that service, and they told me that every change in bank accounts is charged. Secondly, because they did not withdraw money for the other months, the answer was ridiculous, the payment of my personal account was not automated, and when asked how you managed to withdraw from it in January this year, there was no answer. Third, for the services that do not provide me with enough internet excuse was that now a technician will send me, and when asked why you have not sent me so far, and I insisted more than 15 times in 2.5 months, the man did not have enough answers. In order to find and justify themselves, they claim that I have a debt, and they owe me the debt by not collecting money from my bank account, all in order to invent a debt, justify double payment and why I am out of their network every 5 minutes.
Our cable went out for the whole summer, a few years back. There were a lot of people from Comcast(now Xfinity) trying to figure out what was wrong, but they said they couldn't find anything! What we eventually had to do was switch to another cable provider! The company is worthless. If you have A LOT OF TIME ON YOUR HANDS, you might not mind waiting an eternity for this company to show up and TRY to fix the cable!
To get a human rep is almost impossible and when you do they are either not equipped or trained to assist you with your problem. I think they do this on purpose so you give up.
One of their workers scammed me out of $240 he told me it was for the tech and for the box and everything he even had their tech team come out he sent me a legit Xfinity Comcast internet box he called me back like he was supposed to and now Xfinity Comcast is telling me that he doesn't work for them and I still have to pay $165 for the tech and my bill I've talked to the security team supervisors nobody will do anything about it and it's one of their workers doing it to people and they're letting it happen just be very careful don't give anybody your card information over the phone I did not know this this is my first time ever purchasing internet and it's now costed me almost $500
Xfinity is the worst choice having them the past couple years has been a nightmare. I didn't want them in the first place but had no choice for my area. Mobile service is horrible they have turned off my phone multiple times for no reason and no explanation. Now I live far away from any store and apparently they don't service my area so I'm stuck with the giant phone bill till it's paid off. I can't even risk calling them to speak about my plan or upgrading with internet to decrease my bill or the contradictions about serving my area because they may accidentally shut it off again. Their customer service is so horrible. An Xfinity representative actually deleted all of my photos and videos from my phone in front of my eyes because he was insisting on helping me save space on my phone and said it would be sent to my google drive. Awful customer service. If you call them they will likely not care about your problem and just put you on hold till you're passed around 10x and then they finally shut off your service for no reason lmao. They don't even have my phone number, address, etc in their system somehow. I'm just gonna pay off my phone and hopefully be able to switch to someone else.
