Does exactly as promised so far. I've only used it once on my Mercedes and Hondas and performed flawlessly! I highly recommend this scanner and the company. These guys are located in the US and will even help you with the car questions if you send them an email. If you have issues with the scanner they will support you remotely as well. Would pick them any day over the Chinese brands such as Autel, Launch, iCarsoft and Foxwell. The support from other comapies doesn't compare.
Bought the scanner for my fleet of cars from BMW to Toyota. Scanner was shipped the next day and I ended up getting it in 3 days after placing the order. Scanner has been able to diagnose every single one of these cars. The best of all is that not only do these guys have a lot of repair guides that actually show you how to fix things but when I had issues with being able to email diagnostic reports to my email they called me up and helped by connecting to my device and sorting things out. They have been great at email support as well. That's one of the main reasons why I went with these guys over Autel, Launch, Foxwell and xtool as most of these companies scan tools are sold by resellers who don't provide hardly any support since they are from China. I couldn't be happier with my YOUCANIC purchase. Been recommending these guys to all my friends.
I bought this mostly to use for my 2002 Mercedes S Class. This scanner is incredible for the price, got mine for 499 when on sale. So far I have used this on my 2002 S Class, a 2006 S Class, a 2013 Chevy Impala, a 2006 Ford Explorer, and a 1999 Ford Explorer and every single time it's been able to properly diagnose the problem correctly. I was incredibly impressed that this tool can detect all modules, especially on a car like a Mercedes where you'd usually need a Mercedes STAR tool that costs upwards of $1000 for a used/clone.
I am the original owner of a 2010 S400 (hybrid) Mercedes Benz with 90,000 miles in excellent condition. Suddenly the car wouldn't start so I had it towed to the Mercedes Benz dealership. They told me the car needed a power electronic module for $10,500 and they have never installed any. So I searched on YouTube and spoke to multiple people. Without a doubt the most knowledgeable technicians are at YOUCANIC and happen to be in my area. They have worked on numerous S409's. They made me aware that I could need a hybrid battery after the power electronic module install but I monitor my hybrid battery which was at 75%. They repaired my car for a fraction of the dealership cost. Two months later the auxiliary battery malfunction appeared on dashboard. The dealership wanted $500 so I called YOUCANIC was told an easy fix and look at website. Their website gave perfect instructions so I bought battery for $50 and I installed in thirty (30) minutes (I have no experience). If you have a 2010 Mercedes S400 don't waste your time just go to YOUCANIC.
